The Reason Why Josh Brolin Would Have Rejected the Role of Thanos

Thanos turned out to be the greatest MCU villain of all time. One could argue that he was actually the best cinematic villain and the real reason for that was Josh Brolin. His take upon Thanos is what took him from the level of a random CGI monstrosity into a smart, relatable, layered and powerful villain. The moment Josh Brolin’s role for the MCU was announced, it made perfect sense as his voice & face wreaked of Thanos in every way. But there was a chance where Marvel would have had to find another actor to play Thanos as Josh Brolin wasn’t completely sold on the idea initially.

In the past, Brolin had revealed that he was reluctant upon taking on Thanos because of the motion capture element of the role. He also consulted Mark Ruffalo, before taking on the role. Ruffalo’s verdict upon the matter was huge because it helped in convincing Josh Brolin. At the same time, Brolin was also in talks to play Batman in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. But thankfully for us, both Brolin & Snyder decided that he wasn’t right for the part and ultimately Ben Affleck got it. As for Brolin, he got into talks with Marvel.

On the Team Deakins podcast (via ScreenRant), Josh Brolin spoke to cinematographer Roger Deakins and he revealed the reason why he took on the Thanos role. He also stated why he may have rejected the big opportunity. He said:

“I turned down quite a bit of those things and again people were like ‘money!’ When I said yes to Avengers [Age of Ultron] it was a small thing. It was basically a cameo, so there was not a lot of money involved. So that wasn’t the reason. But when they came to me they gave me a big bible. I loved that it was all [of them]. If it had been one of the Avengers — and I don’t mean this, I probably shouldn’t say this but I’m just gonna say it — I probably wouldn’t have done it. But the fact that it was all the Avengers against this one guy. I liked that aspect of it.”

We’re glad that Brolin took on the role because we just cannot imagine anyone else playing the role. Maybe Ron Perlman could have picked up the role, but Brolin’s take was just perfect. Even the creator of Thanos, Jim Starlin has agreed to the fact that any other actor in the role is just unimaginable. Here’s what he said last year:

“When they first started talking about getting a name actor to play Thanos, Josh Brolin wasn’t on my radar at all. But now that I’ve seen him as the character, I have a hard time imagining anybody else playing him.

He captured the movement and the cadence of the language, everything so marvelously that he had such a weight to the character. I haven’t got a complaint in the world about him, he’s terrific as far as his portrayal of the guy, even more so in the new movie.”

Josh Brolin was so good as Thanos that even after the villain has died twice in the MCU, we still hope for his return. He could be seen in Loki or Eternals next year. If Josh Brolin doesn’t get to be back as Thanos, then we hope that he will actually return as Cable. He was great as Cable as well, so along with Deadpool, Marvel could also bring him back as the futuristic mutant.

He recently revealed how Cable was actually harder to pull off as compared to Thanos. He said:

“‘Deadpool’ was hard. Even though it was funny, it was harder. That was more of a business transaction, it was more, ‘We need to make this like this,’ which I didn’t feel that way with ‘Avengers.’ With those directors, they would constantly go back and reference ‘Scarface’ or ‘Dog Day Afternoon.’ Whether or not it was a manipulation, they knew what to throw out there to bring it back into something inspired.”

Even though the appearance in Deadpool 2 was tougher, Brolin still loved playing the character and is hopeful of a return. So, let’s see if Marvel will bring him within the MCU.

The Eternals – A Cameo From Thanos Could Introduce a New Avenger

Eternals Could Introduce New Avenger:

Fans have lately been speculating the appearance of Thanos in the upcoming MCU movie, Eternals which stars Kit Harrington, Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani, Richard Madden, Salma Hayek, Ma Dong-Seok, etc. The tale of Eternals revolves around the history of the Infinity Stones, which strongly links back to Thanos.

Given that Eternals are not the popular kids of Marvel, the studios will have to put extra effort into its marketing. Including the Mad Titan who became a famous villain in Avengers: Endgame, could play a strong role in lifting the Eternals brand. MCU can tap on Thanos’ popularity in bridging the gap between the Eternals and the rest of the Marvel Universe in the movies. In fact, Thanos and the Eternals have a history that roots back to the Marvel Comics. The character was first introduced in Iron Man #55 in 1973. He was brought up in a colony on Saturn moon, Titan, created by his father A’lars. A’lars belonged to Earth but left the planet along with some Eternals to build his own colony. Thanos also had a brother named Eros who was completely different from him. Thanos started showing sinister signs from a young age as he began to experiment on other Titans. Gradually, he started to get more inclined towards the dark side. Unlike his brother, Thanos possessed both Deviant and Eternals gene, making him far more powerful. Eros, on the other hand, had Eternals genes, rendering him human-form. Thanos had once exposed himself to cosmic rays, which explains his defected body form.

Thanos Had Different Names in Infinity War & Endgame

Thanos gradually turned more and more evil and ended up killing his fellow Eternals and his mother. Thanos’ inclination towards death finally drove his heart to the character Death. She was the embodiment of Death and naturally, Thanos’ dream woman. In order to impress her, Thanos embarked on a mission to acquire all the Infinity Souls.

Even though Thanos played in a huge role in the previous phases of MCU as the major villain, little light was thrown on his storyline. Diving into the Mad Titan’s past could benefit in establishing the origins of the Eternals. Audiences are surely not done with Thanos yet and would love to explore more about his mysterious life. Don’t be surprised if a young Thanos plays a cameo in the upcoming movie.

The Eternals MCU

Coming to the possible New Avenger, you must have guessed by now that we are talking about Thanos’ brother, Eros. Eros and Thanos were poles apart. Eros stood by his father in defending the Eternals from Thanos’ wrath. This sparked a liking for adventure in Eros, who went on more for escapades with other celestial beings. His adventures led him to the Avengers. The Avengers were hesitant to add a Titan to the group, let’s not forget his relation to Thanos. But eventually, he earned their trust and turned out to be a powerful asset to the team of heroes. Eros went on to be known as Starfox and joined forces with the Avengers whenever they need him.

Though Eros isn’t as strong as his brother, he has been gifted with superhuman strength, superhuman speed, superhuman stamina, durability, and intelligence. As an Eternal, he can influence the cosmic powers to enhance his powers. Sooner or later, Starfox can be expected in the future of MCU. What we need to unravel is whether he’ll join the Avengers or embark on an intergalactic quest with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Having the Titan brothers in Eternals will definitely be a treat to the fans.

Endgame Theory Reveals Why Iron Man Didn’t Use EDITH Drones Against Thanos

Iron Man Didn’t Use EDITH Drones Against Thanos:

Spider-Man: Far From Home was a pretty cool follow up to Avengers: Endgame. Yes, the credit for its major success majorly goes to Endgame since, after the epic ending of that film, people wanted more. And Far From Home is what provided us, a look into the aftermath of Hulk’s snap & Tony’s sacrifice. People totally enjoyed the film, and it left us with a major cliffhanger to keep us all guessing. But apparently, people were left asking not one, but multiple questions. One of those was about the EDITH drones.

Iron Man Didn’t Use EDITH Drones Against Thanos

Just like Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home introduced us to yet another A.I. that Tony just handed over to Peter. Or perhaps, this time it was Nick Fury who gave Peter the EDITH glasses, but they came from Tony, so it counts. With EDITH (Even Dead, I’m The Hero), Peter got control of a Stark Satellite which allowed him global surveillance and massive drone strikes. Sadly, Peter gave the glasses to Quentin Beck, who modified those weaponized Stark drones to be used to destroy London, and create an illusion that makes Mysterio look good. But if you think about it, the EDITH drones were obviously in Tony’s possession even before the final Endgame battle since he was wearing the EDITH glasses in Infinity War.

So, why didn’t he call in a drone strike against Thanos’ army? Those drones could have come in very handy and so many lives could’ve been saved if those drones also flew in during the Portals sequence. And the answer to this question cannot be that the MCU was saving the drones to make a debut in Spider-Man: Far From Home. There needs to be a proper explanation for it. This question should be added to the question of why Tony didn’t deploy all his other suits (like the House Party Protocol) and the Iron Legion. But we’ll get to this part later. For now, let’s talk about why the drones weren’t used in Endgame.

Iron Man Didn’t Use EDITH Drones Against Thanos

Screen Rant suggests a simple theory that could answer the EDITH conundrum. We know that the image of Peter holding his inverted internship certificate motivated and even helped Tony to solve time travel (as Tony tried the simulation of an “inverted” Mobius strip). So when he did solve time travel, he strongly believed that a mission to go back in time might finally be successful. But at the same time, he also knew that this might be his very last mission, and he may not back alive. So, he shot a goodbye video for his wife & his daughter. And, during this moment, he also may have made the arrangements for Peter to get the EDITH glasses because he strongly believed in the kid, and he was motivated to go through the Time Heist mostly because of Peter.

When the time heist was successful and Hulk brought everyone back to the land of the living, Thanos showed up and attacked the Avengers HQ. Thanos gave no time for the Avengers to regroup until the portals sequence happened. So, at this point of time, Tony couldn’t call in the EDITH drones because he had already made arrangements for Peter to get those glasses. And perhaps, he might not have had any other way to access the drones, which is why the drone army didn’t show up. This is the only sensible explanation to why we didn’t see the drones in Endgame.

Iron Man Didn’t Use EDITH Drones Against Thanos

Maybe Mysterio deployed all of the EDITH drones and there will be none left to use in Spider-Man 3. But still, Peter could make great use of EDITH in a time when he surely needs help in surviving. So, let’s see how EDITH comes in play in the next Spider-Man movie, which will arrive next year on November 5. Do you agree with this theory? Tell us in the comments down below.

Some are even wanting to see Galactus but it’s been more than a year now, and there’s no big news or update around this topic. All we have are the release dates for some upcoming MCU projects. Many fans are even wanting to see Thanos once again but he’s done for now in the Marvel movies.

Marvel is Reportedly Considering The Return of Thanos in MCU

The Return of Thanos in MCU:

Thanos has been a top tier character for Marvel. He was one of the main reasons why Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame ended up grossing over $4.8 billion combined. Sure he died twice in Endgame, but that doesn’t mean he still couldn’t return. The MCU is a comic book movie universe. So like the comics, death isn’t the end of a character. It is just a revolving door. So, those of us who have been assuming that Thanos could return in the MCU are absolutely spot on. Yes, he can return, and the latest report suggests that we’d see him sooner rather than later.

Return of Thanos in MCU

It’s obvious that we won’t be seeing Thanos this year as the 3 MCU projects (Black Widow, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier & WandaVision) that are confirmed to arrive this year would have nothing to do with Thanos. But, the projects that are coming next year could certainly show us Thanos making a brief cameo somewhere, or even playing a substantial role in one the projects. The fact that Jeremy Conrad of MCU Cosmic has recently reported that Marvel is considering the return of Thanos right now, our assumption automatically becomes valid.

How Eternals Introduce Thanos’ Father A'lars

Here’s what Jeremey Conrad wrote:

“I learned tonight from one of my most reliable sources that Marvel Studios is beginning to talk about some way to have Thanos featured in a movie again in the future. It’s not definitely happening, it’s just something “in the cards”, but the big purple guy still looms large in their minds. There’s no specific storyline or anything like that mentioned, so I have no idea how it’ll work. But with time travel and the multiverse now a thing in the MCU there are infinite possibilities of how we can see Thanos again.”

Well, Conrad has just stated what is an absolute fact here. Projects like Eternals and Loki present a strong case for Thanos’ return. Thanos is an Eternal with a deviant syndrome in his genes. That’s why he looks different. Concept art for a young Thanos was released a while back. So, a young Thanos could have an appearance in Eternals. Because Thanos’ backstory was never explored to a greater extent in Infinity War or Endgame, it is a possibility that it could be explored in one of the Eternals films. After all, Thanos’ brother Eros is supposed to join the MCU in the future. He could certainly be a beacon for Marvel to explore Thanos’ past.

Return of Thanos in MCU

As far as Loki is concerned, you have to keep in mind that Thanos was the one to send Loki to Earth in order to retrieve the Tesseract. Since Loki has already done that (thanks to Hulk and future Tony), Thanos might pursue Loki after finding out that he escaped with the Space Stone. If not Loki, then Doctor Strange 2 could be another project that makes Thanos’ return plausible. It is going to introduce the Multiverse. So, we could travel to one of the Universes where Thanos is still active and pursuing his goal.

As of now, we can only assume how Marvel is going to bring back the Mad Titan, but we can be sure that they will certainly do it. Even Thanos’ creator Jim Starlin feels the same. Back in April, ComicBook.com  spoke to Starlin and they specifically talked about Thanos. They asked Starlin if he was satisfied with how Thanos’ story came to an end in the biggest film of all time. Starlin replied by saying that he doesn’t really believe Thanos’ story arc to be fully complete, and he believes that Thanos will be seen soon enough.

Return of Thanos in MCU

Starlin said:

“Well, I understand that the story’s not completely ended. They’ve already announced that. I think a young Thanos appears in The Eternals. I remember reading that somewhere. They made a shit load of money off this guy. So I don’t see them retiring him anytime soon. Comic book characters tend to have an extended lifespan beyond the actors who work on them. I’m half expecting to see much more Thanos down the line.”

So, we’ve gotta believe this if Thanos’ creator himself believes it. Where do you think Thanos could make his return? Tell us in the comments down below.

The Real Reason Why Thanos Was So Surprised When Captain America Held Him Back

The Real Reason Why Thanos Was So Surprised When Captain America Held Him Back

One of the few drawbacks of Infinity War was that Captain America didn’t get a whole lot of screen time in the movie. Thor, Iron Man, Doctor Strange & Hulk got their shot at Thanos. But by the time Thanos came face to face with Cap, he became too strong having acquired 5 of the 6 Infinity Stones already. In fact, he didn’t even use the Infinity Stones and was able to knock Cap down like he was nothing. Thankfully, the Russos redeemed Cap in Endgame as he got his shot to take on Thanos where he almost won.

But there was one interesting moment that had us all stunned for an instance. By all, I mean Thanos as well. As Thanos was making his move to get the Mind Stone, Cap was the last line of defence before he reached WandaVision. Cap’s fight with him wasn’t as great as Iron Man or Doctor Strange, but it was surprising because he was actually able to hold back someone as strong as Thanos. It was only for a few seconds and Thanos was quite shocked. It seemed that he was surprised to see the spirit & strength of someone who in his eyes, is no more than a human. But today, we’ve got a very fitting theory that suggests the real reason for why Thanos was starstruck. It wasn’t just Cap’s strength that had surprised him. It was so much more. Joshua Steel came up with this theory, and The Canadian Lad brought it forward via the following video:

Take a look at this scene once again. While you’re at it, focus upon where Cap holds Thanos’ hand. He holds the two fingers that have the power stone and the soul stone. So, the theory is that holding the pinky finger with the Soul Stone sort of made a connection between the Soul Stone & Cap. And since Thanos had the Soul Stone, he was actually able to see Cap’s entire life flash in front of him in a blink of an eye.

Avengers: Endgame Theory Captain America Infinity Gauntlet

The Soul Stone’s powers allowed Thanos to see how Steve started off as a little man who wasn’t afraid to stand up to bullies. He was amazed at Steve’s fighting spirit and his struggle. If you look at Thanos’ expressions in slow motion, you’d see that he isn’t just shocked. His eyes are moving as if he is watching or reading something. So, we’d like to believe that what he was watching here was Cap’s determination and his compassion. The reason he made that shocked face was because he saw everything Cap had gone through. He saw everything Steve had lost in his life and he was almost inspired by how Steve was still willing to fight for what he thought was right. This theory only increases our loving and respectful feeling towards Cap.

This isn’t a theory that someone just came up with overnight. There’s actually some evidence of this happening in the comics. In the Infinity Gauntlet storyline, which Avengers: Infinity War & Avengers: Endgame are loosely based upon, Nebula wielded the Infinity Gauntlet and when Thanos touched the soul stone, she was able to look into Thanos’ soul and his life. So, something like this could’ve happened with Cap. Sure, the use of a stone is indicated when the stone is glowing. And the Soul Stone wasn’t glowing when Cap held Thanos. But we’re willing to ignore that because this theory is quite awesome.

Since it’s so great, let’s try and validate it with one more example. When Captain Marvel held Thanos’ Gauntlet in an effort to prevent him from closing his fist, the Gauntlet stopped glowing. In this case, it wasn’t glowing because Captain Marvel actually started to absorb the energy that the Infinity Stones were emitting. Her energy absorption ability is what made her strong enough to not even flinch when Thanos hit her with a head butt. So similarly, Cap may have somehow connected with the soul stone, if not the others. And that allowed Thanos to literally look into his soul.

This was an Infinity Stone which wasn’t used much in Infinity War. So, would you like it if this is where the soul stone was used once more? Tell us in the comments down below.

After Thanos, His Brother is Reportedly Coming to the MCU

Thanos Brother Coming to the MCU:

Thanos proved to be one of the biggest characters in the MCU. He along with many others ensured that Infinity War & Endgame would go on to make over $4.8 Billion worldwide. So, even though Thanos has died (twice), we don’t see him staying away from the MCU forever. Even after 2 films, we didn’t get to see his backstory, as that was saved for later. We did get reports that either Infinity War, or Endgame were supposed to give us somewhere between 10-20 minutes from Thanos’ past, which would’ve shown us his family members – Father A’lars, Mother – Sui-San, and Brother – Eros aka Starfox. But the creatives then decided to focus the story more on the Avengers since they were short of screen time.

How Eternals Introduce Thanos’ Father A'lars

Anyway, we will get a bit of Thanos’ backstory in The Eternals franchise. Thanos & his family were Eternals, so Marvel will definitely have plans for Thanos & his other family members. The Eternals is supposed to dive into the rich history of the MCU based on events that took place on Earth as well as in the cosmos. So, the characters of Thanos’ family, who have all played an important role in the comics will soon be given some importance. We did a theory suggesting how A’lars could be coming to the MCU in The Eternals. Well, now we have a report that Marvel also has future plans for Thanos’ brother Eros to arrive.

Since Eros is a bit unfamiliar for people who haven’t read the comics, Marvel might want to show a bit of him along with Thanos in a story that talks about the past. Then, Eros could become a prominent supporting character (if not more) once people get to know what he is capable of. The reason we’re saying that he could become a prominent character is because Jeremy Conrad from MCU Cosmic suggests so. His reports are mostly on point so we have to believe that it is indeed possible for Starfox to arrive. In the comics, he has even been an Avenger once. So, those who would like to see a bit more from Thanos’ family could get that from Starfox.

Thanos Brother Coming to the MCU

Conrad states that Starfox was initially going to be in The Eternals, but the plot of the film went through a lot of changes before and even during the production of the film. He used the example of Black Knight stating that before Kit Harrington was cast as the comic accurate Dane Whitman, the character was actually going to be a female archaeologist with the codename of “Karen.” And, among the initial casting breakdowns, Starfox was there as well. But he isn’t anymore. Despite all that, here’s what Conrad further wrote:

“But Starfox is too big of a character to just leave discarded. Marvel Studios still has plans to use the character as some point in a future MCU project. There are a lot of cosmic options on the way where one-time Avenger could show up, such as the Secret Invasion series that’s reportedly in the works or even something like Captain Marvel 2.”

Well, let’s see what Conrad sates turns out to be true. Even though Starfox might not be a part of The Eternals, and maybe even Thanos won’t be. But their father A’lars could still make an appearance showing us how the two factions of the Eternals got separated under the leadership of A’lars and Zuras. Also, if Starfox is to appear in the present day projects like the SWORD series, Captain Marvel 2, or perhaps The Eternals 2, then it’d be interesting to see how he survived the end of his home planet Titan when the rest of the population couldn’t.

Thanos Brother Coming to the MCU

Directed by Chloe Zhao, and from a script written by brothers Matthew and Ryan Firpo, The Eternals will arrive on February 12, 2021. The film stars Richard Madden as Ikaris, Gemma Chan as Sersi, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Salma Hayak as Ajak, Barry Keoghan as Druig, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Angelina Jolie as Thena and Kit Harrington as Dane Whitman aka Black Knight.

Does Thanos Have Any Powers of His Own Without The Infinity Stones?

Does Thanos Have Any Powers of His Own?

Thanos, the Mad Titan turned out to be the biggest MCU villain of all time. He made the entire Universe go through a tragedy for 5 years. And all of that came of just a snap. But even before that, the ramifications of his tyranny were felt across several planets. His motivation was to rid half the population of a planet so those planets don’t face the same fate as his home planet, Titan. No one was strong enough to stand against him until the final Endgame battle. Even when he almost lost in Infinity War, he won. So clearly, he was one of the strongest beings of the Universe.

Thanos MTV Movie And TV Awards

Thanos was unbeatable with the Infinity Stones. But people did think that he might not be as tough without the Infinity Stones since Thor was able to overpower him even when he had the Stones. But as it turned out, even without the Stones, Thanos was almost unbeatable. He was able to outsmart & outwit Captain America (with the Mjolnir), Thor & Iron Man when they were arguably at their best. In fact, there is a working theory that using the Infinity Stones regularly had a direct toll on his body. And without the stones, he just emerged stronger.

But did you ever stop to think whether Thanos has any Super powers without the stones? Well, Screen Rant has brought us the answer to this question. With the 6 stones, he was obviously able to control things related to Mind, Soul, Reality, Space, Time & exceed his Power. But without the stones, we’ve only seen that Thanos has immense strength, durability and near-immortality. He can make massive leaps. Beyond that, he acquired battle skills, combat skills & warfare tactics. One could argue that his knowledge is his true Super Power along with his strength. As far as the MCU is concerned, we haven’t seen him possess any other special ability like his fellow Eternals normally do. And that could be retconned with the fact that Thanos was not on Earth when the Eternals got their powers through a failed experiment conducted by his grandfather Kronos.

But we’re here to say that despite all of that, Thanos did have other Superpowers in the comics. Firstly, he is an Eternal who has rare Deviant syndrome present in his DNA. That is what gives him his gigantic purple looks. Now, along with being a master combatant, invulnerable, immortal, insanely strong, immune to poisons, resistant to injuries, and being & outright genius, Thanos is able to project and manipulate energy. He can shoot lasers and even absorb them without being harmed.

Furthermore, he has telepathic abilities which make him invulnerable to psychic attacks, and he can also Telekinetically use his surroundings. In Deadpool: Funeral for a Freak, Part 4, we see that Thanos is also capable of harnessing magic being proficient in the mystic arts. That’s because he was the one to curse Deadpool with immortality after he found out that his love Lady Death and Deadpool were actually a couple. This curse was given to Deadpool so he could never die & unite with Death.

All of these extra powers were stripped from Thanos in the MCU. We obviously understand why they were stripped. There had to be a difference between Thanos with the Infinity Stones & Thanos without the Infinity Stones. If Thanos would’ve had all of his powers, then the only unique usage of the Infinity Stones he could’ve made was making the snap happened. The Russos & the writes had to take away his powers to give the heroes a bit of a fighting chance. Or else, Thanos would’ve just been unbeatable & someone people couldn’t really relate to. We’d say that it was a good move stripping off of his extra omnipotent powers.

Perhaps his backstory in one of the Eternals movies might shine some light on his MCU powers specifically in the future.

Why Only Thanos Could’ve Used the Stark Nano Gauntlet After Hulk’s Snap

Stark Nano Gauntlet:

The Infinity Gauntlet that Eitri made for Thanos was made from Alien Technology (probably from the Uru Metal). So, it was able to sustain the energies that all the 6 Infinity Stones emitted. But we cannot say the same for Tony Stark’s Nano Infinity Gauntlet that Hulk wore. Even though Thanos is stronger than Hulk, we saw how tough it was for Hulk to sustain the energies of the 6 Infinity Stones. The radiation from the stones was mostly Gama, and Hulk being a Gama infused Goliath should have been able to sustain the Infinity Stones without using the amount of energy that he did. But that didn’t happen. Although, Hulk would have been able to snap with much more ease if he got to wear the Infinity Gauntlet that Eitri made.

Hulk lost his arm in Endgame

A new video from The Canadian Lad tells us how the Stark tech Gauntlet(s) were different from Eitri. Once Thanos added all 6 Infinity Saga upon Eitri’s Gauntlet, it glowed for a while, and then the Gauntlet sustained the energies from the stones so Thanos was able to use the Gauntlet’s power to attack Thor & then Snap with easy. Hulk on the other hand wore the Stark Gauntlet, which was not able to contain the massive energy surge, so Hulk had to muster all his strength very quickly and make the snap happen. Because Stark’s Nano Gauntlet was inferior to Eitri’s Gauntlet, Hulk also took more damage than he would’ve, if he had got Eitri’s Gauntlet instead.

And after Hulk snapped, the quality of the Nano Gauntlet was deteriorated even more. Meaning, no one other than Thanos could have worn and used this Gauntlet successfully on the second try as it would’ve already emitted even more energy upon the wearer. Thanos was so strong that he snapped twice with Eitri’s Gauntlet. So, he could’ve done it once with the Stark Gauntlet. If Thor or anyone else would have tried to wear the Nano Gauntlet, then it is entirely possible that they would’ve died even before snapping.

Tony Stark’s MCU Journey Infinity Stones

Now let’s get to the question of how Tony Stark was able to snap so easily while it took a lot of strength from Hulk and Thanos to make the snap happen. It was because of the Mark 85 armor that he wore. 2023 wasn’t the first time Stark got the idea for time travel. He tried to solve time travel before, but he wasn’t able to until Scott Lang had put him on the right direction. The plan was always to go back in time and collect the Infinity Stones, which is why Tony had designed such a suit that would be able to contain the Infinity Stones and keep him alive at the same time.

Unlike the Stark Gauntlet or Eitri’s Gauntlet, the entire Iron Man suit that Tony wore in Endgame was a bigger version of the Gauntlet. That’s why the energies from the Infinity Stones were surging through the entire suit instead of just Tony’s right hand. The suit kept him alive until he snapped. If Hulk had snapped in a nanotech Hulkbuster suit, then maybe his arm would’ve taken less damage than it did. Anyway, what’s done is done. Now let’s see whether Marvel will be able to fix Hulk’s arm in the future shows and films.

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Chadwick Boseman, Tom Holland, Tom Hiddleston, Evangeline Lilly, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Elizabeth Olsen, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Samuel L. Jackson, William Hurt, Winston Duke, Letitia Wright, Tilda Swinton, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Tessa Thompson, Cobie Smulders, Sean Gunn, Frank Grillo, Robert Redford, John Slattery, Benedict Cumberbatch, Taika Waititi, Ty Simpkins and Josh Brolin.

Thanos Once Killed Iron Man Without Even Lifting His Finger

Thanos Killed Iron Man:

One of the fiercest battles in the MCU was Iron Man vs. Thanos. It was arguably the best fight in the Infinity Saga as it was superior to Doctor Strange V Thanos & possibly even Captain America vs. Thanos. Tony Stark unleashed the best of Iron Man on Thanos. One after another, he had defense and offense maneuvers ready to deploy. Even though it was all just to make Thanos bleed a tiny bit, it was visually awesome and incomparable.

But Iron Man vs. Thanos was actually nothing but a massive roller coaster. Right after Stark gave us a “high” moment by making Thanos bleed, the Mad Titan turned the next scene into a big low. He stabbed Tony & had us all stunned. That was the moment where most of us thought that Tony Stark is going to die. It was a brutal moment & Tony was about to receive an even brutal death.

Thanos pointed his Infinity Gauntlet at Tony. The Gauntlet had 4 Infinity Stones present, and he would’ve unleashed the power of all those Infinity Stones upon Tony. Iron Man would’ve been completely obliterated. But at the very last moment, Doctor Strange made a bargain with Thanos to spare Tony. That’s what led to Tony’s greatest moment of sacrifice in the next movie where he emerged victorious over Thanos.

Infinity War Iron Man Thanos

While Thanos was about to obliterate Tony in Infinity War, he actually did it in the comics. He killed Iron Man without even lifting his finger in the 1991 Infinity Gauntlet series. Those who have read this comic series would know that unlike Infinity War, this story actually begun with Thanos’ snap. So, half the people of the Universe lost their lives. When the leftover Avengers found out that this was the doing of Thanos, they left immediately to take him on.

Thanos Killed Iron Man
Thanos Killed Iron Man

Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet turned out to be insanely powerful and the heroes were no match for him. He defeated every hero who came at him, and for him, Iron Man was so petty that he didn’t even fight the Genius, Billionaire, Playboy Philanthropist. Instead, Thanos created Terraxia with the Infinity Stones, and it was Terraxia who fought Tony Stark. When Tony fired at Terraxia, she knocked him off course and in the very next shot, she brings Thanos the head of Iron Man.

Iron Man Endgame snap Marvel

Iron Man was belittled so much that he didn’t even deserve a major death. In fact, it happened off the pages. Iron Man from the comics is much more different than the MCU. In the films, he was the one who started it all, and he brought the Infinity Saga to its fitting end (not counting Spider-Man: Far From Home here). He deserved every bit of love and affection he got from the fans.

Even though Tony is out of the MCU for now, there are still several ways in which he could return without diminishing his grand sacrifice. In fact, reports have suggested that talks between Downey & Marvel happened again. And according to scooper Mikey Sutton, the plan is for Secret Wars. Doctor Strange 2 is introducing the Multiverse. And in Secret Wars, heroes from across the Multiverse will team up. This is where Tony Stark from a different Earth or timeline will be brought into the picture.

His return has to be in the Secret Wars, or else Tony’s death won’t really mean much. Secret Wars is still at least 5-7 years away, if not more. It will be the next Endgame level event (probably even bigger). Several movies & Disney+ shows will lead us into Secret Wars. And since it will arrive years later, people would be craving for something from the past. That’s where a multiverse Tony could come into play. He won’t take such a massive heroic role, but he could act as a mentor.

Would you like to see Tony Stark return to the MCU? Tell us in the comments.

How The Eternals Could Introduce Thanos’ Father A’lars

How Eternals Introduce Thanos’ Father A’lars?

The last 2 major Avengers events heavily focused on Thanos and his plans for the people of the Universe. But those two films only gave us a few teases for Thanos’ backstory. People did wonder why Thanos’ past on Titan was not included in a film that heavily featured him. Well, the answer to that is hidden in The Eternals. Even though Thanos is dead, he’s so not done with the MCU. We might get to see a bit of Thanos’ backstory in The Eternals, maybe a young Thanos could show up. But if it doesn’t happen in the first movie, then it would definitely happen in the sequel. And along with a young Thanos, The Eternals could introduce us to A’lars, the father of Thanos.

A’lars is a major part of the Marvel comics, and Infinity War was the first time we heard his name in the MCU. When Thanos arrived on Vormir with Gamora, the Red Skull named his father. That was a major tease for his father’s arrival in the future of the MCU. Thanos’ grandfather Kronos was the one who was responsible for all the Eternals to getting their superpowers. Kronos experimented with cosmic energy. But due to the failure of the experiment the cosmic energy spread all across the Eternals base, and the genes of the Eternals were altered permanently.

How Eternals Introduce Thanos’ Father A'lars

But the failed experiment left Kronos in no position to lead anymore. So, his two sons A’lars and Zuras were left to decide the next leader of the Eternals. Since both of them wanted to be the next leader, they came to the conclusion that they’ll Split the Eternals into two factions. Zuras led his group of Eternals on Earth, while A’lars Took a large group of Eternals to Saturn’s moon, Titan. On Titan, A’lars fathered his two sons Thanos and Starfox.

How Eternals Introduce Thanos’ Father A'lars

This is the kind of origin story that The Eternals could hint at, or show us in a prequel sequence. The Eternals would probably show us how the Eternals were created and given their powers, Kronos, Zuras & A’lars could all come into play. Later when Thanos grew older, his father saw nothing but a monster in him. So, Thanos began to make strides to achieve his own goals, and A’lars took a pledge to stop his son. To kill Thanos, A’lars & Kronos created Drax the destroyer (although this might not be the case in MCU). Later he also formed an alliance with Captain Mar-Vell for a while before associating himself with Silver Surfer.

While the Eternals originated on Earth, A’lars led a group of them to Titan & established a new colony there. So, if we are supposed to get the history of Eternals, then A’lars should be a part of it because his departure from Earth was an important turning point in the Eternals’ history. Let’s see how things turn out in Eternals. Even if A’lars does show up, don’t expect him to have a major role just yet.

Marvel Announcing MCU Phase 5 Slate

The Eternals stars Richard Madden as Ikaris, Gemma Chan as Sersi, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Salma Hayak as Ajak, Barry Keoghan as Druig, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Don Lee as Gilgamesh, Angelina Jolie as Thena and Kit Harrington as Dane Whitman aka Black Knight.

MCU Phase 5 Marvel The X-Men

Directed by Chloe Zhao, and from a script written by brothers Matthew and Ryan Firpo, The Eternals will supposedly come out on November 6, 2020. Here’s the synopsis running around the internet:

“The story of ‘THE ETERNALS’ is set millions of years ago when the cosmic beings known as the Celestials genetically experimented on humans, creating the super-powered individuals as well as more villainous off-shoots known as Deviants. The two groups went on to battle each other throughout history to see which would eventually become the ultimate race.

Here’s How Thanos’ Back Story is Connected to The Eternals.

Thanos’ Back Story Connected to Eternals:

People won’t really get hyped for The Eternals until Marvel shows us a good trailer. The ones aware of their comic book history do know the potential of this character, but even they’d have a lot of questions about these new characters coming to the MCU. This is a property that Marvel has teased the least. There have been Easter Eggs and references mainly for the Celestials. We haven’t been blessed with an appearance from any of the Eternals since they have kept themselves well hidden throughout the many years of MCU’s establishment. But there’s one particular Eternal who has made his presence known to the entire Universe through his actions. That’s none other than Thanos.

Thanos’ Back Story Connected to Eternals

Yes, Thanos is an Eternal and there’s a major chance that he would appear in the upcoming Eternals movie. We could end up seeing a young Thanos as we have already seen the concept art of him and his family. In fact, Marvel could establish the Eternals using Thanos and his connection to the Eternals, as well as the Deviants.

It was the Celestials who created the Eternals and the Deviants as they experimented upon humans. The Eternals are immortal beings, but they look like humans, whereas the Deviants turned out to be a failed offshoot of the humans having unstable DNA monstrous appearances, and not being immortal like the Eternals. In the comics, Thanos is an Eternal Deviant hybrid. It is because of the presence of Deviant syndrome in his DNA that he looks like the purple monster we saw in Infinity War and Endgame. His genes were rare in his entire species. His hideous looks are why his mother could never love him (not trying to be mean, but it’s the truth).

Thanos’ Back Story Connected to Eternals

While the Eternal stayed hidden in plain sight amongst the humans, the Deviants, on the other hand, could not blend in and built cities of their own to go into hiding. Like the Deviants, the Eternals also established a base on Earth. It is there that their leader, Kronos experimented with cosmic energy. But due to the failure of the experiment the cosmic energy spread all across the Eternals base, and the genes of the Eternals were altered permanently. This is what led to the Eternals having their distinct set of superpowers. But the failed experiment left Kronos in no position to lead anymore. So, his two sons all A’lars and Zuras were left to decide the next leader of the Eternals. Since both of them wanted to be the next leader, they came to the conclusion that they’ll Split the Eternals into two factions. Zuras led his group of Eternals on Earth, while A’lars Took a large group of Eternals to Saturn’s moon, Titan.

Now we know what happened on the Titan. A’lars fathered his two sons Thanos and Starox. So, it’s clear that Thanos has a blood relation to his uncle Zuras and Thena (The daughter Of Zuras who will be portrayed by Angelina Jolie). Thanos was not present on Earth When the experiment of Kronos failed. So he does not have powers like Thena or the other Eternals. But it is because of the Deviant syndrome in his DNA that he possesses superhuman strength and heightened abilities. It is possible that this back story might be used in the upcoming Eternals movie. Although don’t be surprised if this back story is altered a bit to fit in a better way into the MCU.

Thanos’ Back Story Connected to Eternals

While Thanos is the proof to the fact that half of the Eternals flew off to Titan. We also have evidence that some of the Deviants also flew off Earth to inhabit other planets. And that evidence is none other than the Skrulls. The Skrulls are also a faction of the Deviants, so it’d be interesting to see how the MCU will adapt that into the ongoing continuity.

The Eternals arrives on February 12, 2021.

How Captain America Was Able to Hold Thanos Back in Avengers: Infinity War

How Captain America Was Able to Hold Thanos?

Captain America vs Thanos was surely the best fight in Avengers: Endgame. In fact, it was arguably superior to every Thanos vs. an Individual Avenger battle. Iron Man vs. Thanos, Doctor Strange vs. Thanos, Hulk vs. Thanos & Thor vs. Thanos were all awesome, but none of those fights inflicted more screams than Captain America. Cap was standing tall when no one else was. He is the out of all other heroes mentioned above, and yet he almost took out Thanos by proving himself worthy. We didn’t get this battle in Avengers: Infinity War as it was only teased. And yet, it was because of that tease that we were so surprised and satisfied when Captain America vs. Thanos finally happened in Avengers: Endgame.

How Captain America Was Able to Hold Thanos Back in Infinity War

In Infinity War, the encounter between Cap & Thanos was short, but it was still quite powerful. It showed us how powerful Thanos really was as Captain America only had a fraction of his strength. But it also showed us how far Cap is willing to go in order to do the right thing. He knows his limits and yet he is willing to take on opponents much stronger than him. He took on Loki, Ultron & Thanos. He fell, but he got back up. And his will is what surprised Thanos the most in Infinity War. Cap only got 3 little moments of glory in Infinity War. One of them was him holding off Thanos for a short while. And the reaction of Thanos was priceless.

He was not expecting someone like Captain America to actually resist as much as he did. He was taken by surprise, but this surprise wasn’t at his strength, it was due to the strong will of Steve Rogers. Avengers: Infinity War & Endgame co-writer Christopher Markus was asked about this & he told The Hollywood Reporter:

“I think in that moment, Thanos is impressed by Steve’s will. He’s like, ‘I can’t believe this guy who apparently has no powers is trying this.’ He’s almost like, ‘Really? Really?'”

This little confrontation made us realize how weak Captain America was against Thanos, and that is why his battle against Thanos in the next movie was all the more special. Captain America is known to have the strongest will. His will, selflessness & righteousness is why he turned out to be worthy. And this is also why he would’ve been chosen to become a Green Lantern if he were in the DC Universe. He had the power of the Gods even when he was a little guy from Brooklyn. Everything special about him didn’t just come of a bottle. But yes, the serum did result in the enhancement. Good became great.

How Captain America Was Able to Hold Thanos Back in Infinity War

That’s why we should be happy for the journey that Captain America had in the MCU. He started off as a strong-willed, but a powerful little guy. When he got strength, he never misused it. He knew the true value of it. Even when he found out that he could lift Thor’s hammer, he didn’t show it off. He gave up and pretended that he cannot lift it until it was truly necessary.

Cap was always ready to make the hardest of choices. Remember what Doctor Strange said? “The hardest choices require the strongest wills.” He found out about Tony’s parents but he didn’t tell his friend to spare him the pain. It was not to protect Bucky. Cap just couldn’t see his friend in pain. And even when he realized that he was wrong at what he did, he accepted it and was ready to go back home if Tony would accept him.

How Captain America Was Able to Hold Thanos Back in Infinity War

One could find 100 reasons to love Captain America more than anyone else. And we’re glad that he finally got to live the life fate took away from him. He got the chance to live with the woman he loved, and he took it.

Tyrant Could Be a Better Villain For MCU Phase 4 Than Thanos Was in Phase 3

Tyrant Better Villain Than Thanos:

Cosmic Powerhouses are dime a dozen in the Marvel Comic Book Universe. Galactus, the Silver Surfer, the Grand Master, the Champion, the Collector, and The Celestials – the list goes on and on and on. Thanos may not have that level of command over the Power Cosmic but he is certainly a powerhouse himself. And with Josh Brolin playing the Mad Titan in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies till phase 3, Thanos was immortalized as one of the greatest villains that sprang out of a comic book to have ever been featured in a movie, let alone a shared movie superhero universe.

Tyrant Better Super Villain Than Thanos

But is he the greatest Marvel Villain there ever was, is and will be? Looks like there is someone in the comic books who could serve the Dark Side better than even Thanos did. That’s right. This guy could do a better job than the purple megalomaniac in the future Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.

Tyrant Better Super Villain Than Thanos

When we say the word – Tyrant, even many hard-core comic book readers would have a hard time recalling the name. And we will not blame you guys for it. A villain whose very name is so obscure and unpopular that not even comic book readers of Marvel could guess it has a chance to be a better villain than Thanos in the MCU? How absurd does that sound!! But trust us, we do have a point. Tyrant’s stature in the comic books made him the perfect antagonist and the Big Bad Wolf for Marvel Comics. There are multiple reasons behind it.

Tyrant Better Super Villain Than Thanos

With more than a dozen appearances ever in the history of Marvel Comic Book issues, Tyrant made a quick name for himself, something not any Super Villain of Marvel Comics has ever managed to achieve. Primarily appearing as an enemy of the Silver Surfer and being a thorn to him for most of the 1990s, Tyrant was later forgotten and left to be taken down by the sands of time. But a being of that caliber will have a hard time just becoming a shadow in the background. The Marvel Comic Book Overlords knew it. And that is why they kept bringing him back again and again. Tyrant’s amazing command over the Power Cosmic made him a perfect equivalent of Thanos. He has enough power to challenge even Galactus!! And that is saying something.

Tyrant’s first-ever debut was in The Silver Surfer #81 back in the year 1993. Ron Marz, Tom Christopher, and Ron Lim penned and drew the issue together. This was way after the time Thanos got his hands on the Infinity Gems and wielded the Infinity Gauntlet in the acclaimed Infinity Gauntlet saga. In the same issue, Tyrant achieved multiple impossible feats all at once. He defeated the Silver Surfer, one of the most powerful Superheroes in the Marvel Comic Book Universe of all time. But he also defeated Terrax, another of Galactus’ herald who has given even the Silver Surfer a run for his money sometimes. Soon after, he fought and defeated several other space-based super-powered individuals like the Strontian being named Gladiator of the Shi’ar Imperial Guard and the Beta Ray Bill of the Korbinite race.

Tyrant only lives to fuel his thirst for war and conquest! In more ways than one, Tyrant is similar to Galactus, who created him. While Galactus’ primary driver is hunger, Tyrant’s drive is violence. Tyrant was created by Galactus to become one of his first-ever Heralds to help him look for planets that could help sustain Galactus’ endless hunger. Tyrant’s hunger of violence got the better of him and when Galactus came to know that he was misusing the powers bestowed upon him by inciting wars between civilizations, Galactus and Tyrant fought and that universe ending battle resulted in Galactus’ victory and Tyrant’s exile, and his Power Cosmic was taken away.

Despite not having cosmic powers anymore, Tyrant was still a force to be reckoned with. For eons, Tyrant spent most of his time looking for ways to amass power and challenge Galactus to one more duel. An alien covenant called the Sphinsterhood was formed. Its purpose was for pushing back Tyrant and keeping him at bay every time he comes to threaten the universe. When Tyrant eventually returned a millennium later, only one of the Sphinsterhood’s members named Ganymede had survived. By that time, Tyrant had already captured all these cosmic heroes to absorb their powers and grow stronger in the process.

Tyrant is a sentient cosmic machine. He is neither living nor dead and thus he has no qualms for inciting chaos. As we said, Tyrant’s sole purpose in life is to usher in an age of well, tyranny. His ambition is universal anarchy. Galactus knew that for him to survive, he needed to be a minimalist. He should only take a little and let the universe grow so that there is always food for him. Tyrant never understood Galactus’ ideology. He wanted death and devastation, no matter the cost. And he wanted the universe to suffer.

Tyrant Better Super Villain Than Thanos

And believe it or not, Tyrant and Thanos have met in battle and fought each other. Thanos was in search of an orb that contained some of the power that Tyrant held. The Mad Titan believed that even having a small portion of Tyrant’s total energy reserves will be a huge help for him. That alone is enough to drive our point across as to why we think Tyrant could be the new age MCU villain. But if that still does not convince you – we have something else for you too. In Cosmic Powers, #6, Tyrant and Thanos fought. And the fight ended with Thanos realizing he is hilariously out-matched. He even admitted that Tyrant is a much stronger being than him and decided to run away in fear rather than face Tyrant in single combat.

The only being who has ever defeated Tyrant is none other than his creator Galactus him-self. The Devourer of Worlds is the only one who can stop him. That is exactly why once Tyrant tried to manipulate and turn Morg, a herald of Galactus, against his master. Morg soon found him-self holding the Ultimate Nullifier, the most powerful weapon in the Universe. The Ultimate Nullifier can wipe out any being from the fabric of reality. Once used on someone, it was like he never existed. The Fantastic Four used the Ultimate Nullifier to scare Galactus away from devouring Earth. And now Tyrant wanted Morg to use the weapon on Galactus. But the tables turned when Morg used the Nullifier on Tyrant instead. At the cost of his own life, Morg took Tyrant down for good.

Tyrant Better Super Villain Than Thanos

Tyrant has never been seen in the Marvel Universe. He has only been mentioned sparingly in the modern Marvel reboots. But a cosmic force of such power deserves recognition and acknowledgment. And that is where Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 comes in.

Emotional Infinity War Theory Reveals the Real Reason for Loki Attacking Thanos

Real Reason for Loki Attacking Thanos:

Loki is one of the most complex and yet beloved characters of the MCU. His ways of trickery have amused us for years but he has also found himself in more trouble than one could imagine through those ways. His last piece of trickery was seen in Thor: Ragnarok when he tried to make a run for himself leaving Thor behind on Sakaar. But since Thor was ready for his betrayal this time, he left Loki in a helpless state having electrocuted him. But he did leave him with one suggestion that probably changed Loki for the better.

Infinity War Theory Real Reason for Loki Attacking Thanos

Here’s what Thor said to Loki right before the get help sequence in Ragnarok:

“Thor: Loki, I thought the world of you. I thought we were going to fight side by side forever. But at the end of the day, you’re you and I’m me. I don’t know, maybe there’s still good in you. But let’s be honest, our paths diverged a long time ago.
Loki: Yeah. It’s probably for the best that we never see each other again.
Thor: It’s what you always wanted.”

Infinity War Theory Real Reason for Loki Attacking Thanos

This is what got Loki a bit sentimental. But Thor left Loki with a little more to think about by saying:

“Dear brother, you’re becoming predictable. I trust you, you betray me, round and round in circles we go. See, Loki, life is about, it’s about growth. It’s about change. But you seem to just want to stay the same. I guess what I’m trying to say is that you’ll always be the God of Mischief, but you could be more.”

Infinity War Theory Real Reason for Loki Attacking Thanos

Thor trusted that his brother would indeed evolve and show up to save the fellow Asgardians. And Loki did turn into a full on hero from this point on. He led the revolution army to Asgard and then he was the one to make the sacrifice so his brother could survive against Thanos. For proof of that, here’s the theory that has been presented by Reddit user “u/GeneralIKenoA”. This theory makes a little more sense out of why Loki attacked Thanos.

Tom Hiddleston Loki Disney+ Series

The theory rightly states that Loki was a fairly smart guy and he had just seen Thanos bash the Hulk. Throughout Ragnarok, we’ve seen how afraid Loki has been of the Hulk. So clearly he knows that there is no way that he could best Thanos. But he believes that his brother most definitely could. So, from that point on, whatever Loki does is indeed for his brother. The theory states:

“Loki’s worked with Thanos before. He’d know about Thanos’ rule of killing half the population. Loki might be reasoning that if he forces Thanos to kill him, Thanos would feel obligated to leave the only other royal Asgardian alive.”

This totally makes sense. Loki did sacrifice himself for the wellbeing of his brother. We’ve done several theories in the past trying to prove that Loki isn’t as stupid. He would never attack Thanos without an illusion or a backup plan. But here he actually did it so Thanos would spare his brother. Here are the last words he said to his brother – “I assure you, brother, the sun will shine on us again.” And then look at what he said to Thanos –

“Oh, mighty Thanos, I, Loki, Prince of Asgard, Odinson, the Rightful King of Jotunheim, God of Mischief, do hereby pledge to you my undying fidelity.”

Infinity War Theory Real Reason for Loki Attacking Thanos

Right when he said “Odinson”, he looked at Thor. This is the moment when Thor knew what Loki was trying to do to Thanos. Loki died a hero saving his brother. It was quite noble indeed, and that is why the theory about why he made his foolish attack upon Thanos makes perfect sense. And now that this is done, we’re going to see the return of villain Loki, who will probably turn into an anti-hero in his own upcoming series. The Coronavirus has delayed it, so we should expect it to arrive in the second half of 2021.

New Cosmic Form of Thor Can Beat Thanos – He Will Now go For The Head

New Cosmic Form of Thor Can Beat Thanos:

What does it mean to be a God? If power alone is enough, then Thor the Norse God of Thunder and one of Marvel’s Strongest Avengers, has already transcended Godhood. After losing an arm and an eye, Thor becomes the King of Asgard and gains command over the powerful Odin Force. After making a pact with Galactus, Thor is now even more powerful. He becomes a Herald of Galactus after being granted the Power Cosmic.

The Odin Force, the Lightning Powers, and now the Power Cosmic also being in his possession, Thor is now the most powerful superhero within the Avengers’ ranks. He has had a journey. From being unworthy to worthy enough of holding such power, Thor has gained an even greater power that makes him stronger than ever. Perhaps, even stronger than Thanos him-self!

Galactus crashed onto Asgard with the news that the Black Winter is coming to engulf the entire Marvel Comic Book Universe. The Black Winter was what had destroyed the universe that predated the mainstream Marvel Universe. Galactus was the only survivor of that devastation, who then absorbed the power of the Big Bang to become a cosmic force of nature. Galactus needed a new Herald to guide him to five unique planets scattered throughout the universe.

After absorbing these five planets, Galactus will become powerful enough to defeat Black Winter aka the Star Plague. And Thor agrees to help him by becoming his harbinger, much to the chagrin of his allies. Imbued with the Power Cosmic, Thor regains his eye and arm, as well as gains access to an amplified power unheard of in all of Marvel History.

New Cosmic Form of Thor Can Beat Thanos

So the fans are starting to debate – Is Thor’s new power strong enough to defeat Thanos? Thor had the power of the Storm Breaker back in Avengers: Infinity War. He still was not able to defeat Thanos. Even with both Mjolnir and Stormbreaker in Avengers: Endgame, Thor still fell short of power to overcome the purple megalomaniac’s brute strength. In his new cosmic avatar, will Thor have the strength he needed back then to beat Thanos in his own game?

The answer, ladies and gentlemen, will be explained in detail in the following lines.

Some fans might still be doubtful. Thanos is probably the greatest threat to the Marvel Universe, after Doctor Doom of course! It is not like Thanos has not faced insurmountable odds and invincible, undefeatable heroes before. With a combination of wit, strength, and skill Thanos has vanquished heroes with legendary levels of Strength. He has even managed to beat the Sentry. No other supervillain could boast of that feat.

And if we argue that Thor has the power of the Mjolnir and the Power Cosmic now which is enough to beat Thanos, we regret to tell you that it has already been tried before. Before Nic Klein and Donny Cates gave Thor his comic upgrade, there was the critically acclaimed storyline of Thanos Wins. This is the same storyline that gave us the fan-favorite Cosmic Ghost Rider. In this arc, Thanos has defeated and killed all of the Earth’s superheroes. He now controls the entire universe in this reality. At the end of the Marvel Universe’s timeline, Thanos faces a threat from the Fallen One. This Mysterious Entity is revealed to be the Silver Surfer. The silver Surfer now wields the Mjolnir Hammer in combat. Silver Surfer is not just worthy of Mjolnir and all the abilities it grants but is also endowed with the Power Cosmic.

Thor major Power Upgrade

Thor is new to the domain of Comic Energy Manipulation. The Silver Surfer aka Norrin Radd, hailing from the planet Zenn-La, is Galactus’ most popular and powerful Herald to ever exist. The Silver Surfer is a true veteran when it comes to the Power Cosmic. There have been other superheroes that have also been given the Power Cosmic by Galactus. Superheroes like a Spirit of Vengeance possessed Frank Castle. Johnny Strom aka the Fantastic Four’s Human Torch and now Thor have all been Heralds of Galactus. The sole difference between them and Silver Surfer is that the Power Cosmic for the latter only ended up augmenting the abilities that the heroes already possessed. Thor got increased control over the Odin Force and all his abilities were enhanced. Johnny Storm became a living star. The Ghost Rider became the Comic Ghost Rider.

New Cosmic Form of Thor Can Beat Thanos

But the Silver Surfer is not like any of those heroes. His command over the Power Cosmic is more primal and primordial. And it runs deeper than any other hero with the same power. The Silver Surfer has saved the universe and even the whole of reality multiple times. At one point in time, he has proven strong and capable enough to recreate reality using his comic powers. He has even defeated Galactus, the one who granted him Power Cosmic in the first place. If the Silver Surfer is worthy enough to wield Mjolnir, it means that things are about to go down. And even he found it difficult to defeat Thanos. With the Annihilation Wave at his command, the Silver Surfer was a force to be reckoned with. Even still Thanos reigned supreme.

In the fight, the Silver Surfer was almost pushing the Mad Titan off the edge of the cliff. The Power Cosmic imbued Mjolnir was proving too much to handle for Thanos. Then a broken Hulk was used as a distraction. Thanos enraged him by reminding Bruce Banner of all the friends Thanos had killed over the years. This made the Hulk go berserk and he attacked Norrin Radd. That distraction was enough for Thanos to pounce at the Silver Surfer at the perfect moment and sever his arm. Thanos not only uses his strength in battle but also his brains.

He still needed the help of a younger Thanos from the past along with the Hulk to defeat the Silver Surfer. The Surfer was almost on the verge of defeating the Titan. In the comic books, Thanos is a thousand times stronger than the Marvel Cinematic Universe version. If a combination of the Power Cosmic and Mjolnir could stand a chance against that freak of nature, it will be more than enough to defeat Thanos of the MCU. And Thor is not just the Power Comic holder this time. He even has the Odin Force with him. He is the King of Asgard. This time, he will go for the head. This time, he will not miss it.

New Cosmic Form of Thor Can Beat Thanos

Thor, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, and Iron Man are the only four superheroes in the MCU who could challenge Thanos to a one on one duel. Up until now, we were not sure if anybody could come victorious. But with Thor’s new Cosmic Avatar, that debate has been finally settled for good.

Spider-Man could be removed from the MCU

The Last Solo Marvel movie to be released under the Disney banner is Spider-Man: Far From Home. The movie was released on the 2nd of November, 2018. The official film synopsis for the movie reads:

Peter Parker’s relaxing European vacation takes an unexpected turn when Nick Fury shows up in his hotel room to recruit him for a mission. The world is in danger as four massive elemental creatures — each representing Earth, air, water and fire — emerge from a hole torn in the universe. Parker soon finds himself donning the Spider-Man suit to help Fury and fellow superhero Mysterio stop the evil entities from wreaking havoc across the continent.

Marvel Phase 5

Avengers: Endgame released on the 26th of April, 2019. The official film synopsis of the movie has been released and it states:

“After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.”

Thanos Creator Reveals When Thanos Would Return in the MCU

Thanos Return in the MCU:

Thanos finally got his moment to shine in Avengers: Infinity War after getting teased in 4 prior films. Then he died not once, but twice in Avengers: Endgame. But there’s still a massive chance that he could still make his return in the MCU. Thanos could show up in the Loki series as he was the one to order Loki to attack Earth. And he could return in a future movie involving time travel, or multiple timelines. But the biggest chance of seeing Thanos would be in the first MCU film of 2021, Eternals. Thanos co-creator Jim Starlin also agrees to this.

ComicBook.com recently spoke to Starlin and they specifically talked about Thanos, one of the biggest characters in the MCU. Thanos was the main reason why the two Avengers movies were able to reach the heights that they did. So, CB.com asked Starlin if he was satisfied with how Thanos’ story came to an end in the biggest film of all time. Starlin replied by saying that he doesn’t really believe Thanos’ story arc to be fully complete, and he believes that Thanos will be seen soon enough.

Arrogance of Thanos

On one end, we believe that Thanos shouldn’t return in the MCU, just like Tony Stark or Captain America, so Marvel could focus on other characters & villains. But on the other hand, we do want Thanos to be involved in smaller capacities and surprise us with other connections in the future and the past of the MCU. What Starlin says totally makes sense. Thanos just made Marvel more than $4 Billion along with the likes of Captain America, Iron Man & Thor. He might be dead on screen, but the future of the MCU is not going to get rid of him.

Infinity War Concept Shows Thanos

In fact, his past is actually quite unexplored. Since he is an Eternal, it’d totally make sense for a young Thanos to show up in a movie about the Eternals, which will span over thousands of years and explore the rich history of the MCU. Even the future events of the MCU could tie in events that were caused by Thanos. For instance, the story of Richard Rider / Nova could easily use what Thanos did to Xandar right before Avengers: Infinity War.

Thanos Had Different Names in Infinity War & Endgame

Thanos should not return in full capacity. We’re not saying that he should come in a multiverse event with his genocidal motivations, but he could be involved in very small capacities. Imagine how Loki’s role was toned down a bit after Thor 1 & Avengers 1. Thanos’ role should be toned down even further for the next 5-6 years. And then, way down the line, he could return in a different kind of setting where he teams up with the MCU characters to take down someone like Galactus. That’d be quite surprising for the audience, but I don’t think it’d be necessary for Marvel to go that route.

Eternals Details Revealed. Thanos’ Brother Have Been Cast

Anyway, where do you think Thanos should return? Would you like to see his return in Loki, Eternals, or Nova? Our vote goes to Eternals because that’d bring us a younger version of Thanos that we’ve not seen in the MCU. We’ve only seen concept arts of a young Thanos & heard that he had a rich backstory. So Eternals could explore that in some way. What say? Tell us what you think in the comments section on Facebook.

Eternals arrives on February 12, 2021.

The MCU Teased a Completely Different Plan for Thanos in His First Appearance

Avengers: Infinity War finally introduced Thanos properly and it brought in a completely different motivation for Thanos than he had in the comics. His goal was to wipe out half the life of the entire Universe so that the other half could have a prolonged quality life, learning how to preserve the leftover finite resources. This idea of mass genocide may not be as fresh as you think, but the MCU did put a relatable spin on it. Anyway, this idea is now more overused than the whole Sky-beam thing that every movie used to do back in the early 2010s. But what’s interesting is that when Marvel showed us Thanos for the first time at the very end of The Avengers, they teased a different motivation for the Mad Titan, one that matches with the comics.

MCU Teased different Plan for Thanos Appearance

In the Infinity Gauntlet storyline, which Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame are loosely based on, Thanos snaps and wipes out half the population of the entire Universe just so he could impress Lady Death. He was in love with Death and he wanted her attention. Doing this got him the attention he needed from the love of his life. We’re not going go into the rest of the story where he loses the Gauntlet by his own mistake & arrogance (which he did in the MCU as well).

What we are going to discuss is how we were led to believe Thanos’ motivations to be totally different than they turned out to be. Upon Thanos’ introduction in the post credits scene, “The Other” spoke to Thanos as he referred to the Avengers. He said:

“Humans… They are not the cowering wretches we were promised. They stand. They are unruly, and therefore cannot be ruled. To challenge them is to court death.”

Avengers: Endgame Writers

To court “Death” here was indeed a reference to Lady Death, the love of Thanos. So, we did assume that at a point of time in the future, Lady Death would be introduced and Thanos would cause Universal Genocide to express his love. But that did not turn out to be the case at all. Lady Death was never introduced. She might come into play later in the game when the story of Deadpool expands. But as of now, she doesn’t even exist in the MCU. Thanos’ motivations were changed for the better as killing half of all life forms somehow felt relatable to everyone. It actually became a cultural phenomenon.

Anyway, while we do think that Lady Death was teased in the first appearance of Thanos. His actual motivations were also hidden in plain sight. While Marvel derailed our thinking with the “Death” Sentence, they also teased the fact that Thanos was killing off half the population of several planets one by one. How did Marvel tease this? Well, take a look at half planet in the back. Apparently, half of all living beings were always going to stop existing.

Thanos Had Different Names in Infinity War & Endgame

And now, Iron Man gave Thanos a taste of his own medicine. Thanos got snapped out of existence. He could obviously return if some snaps once more. That’s because he hasn’t died, he has just ceased to exist. But we highly doubt that Thanos would ever return to the present times in the future of the MCU.

MCU Teased different Plan for Thanos Appearance

Marvel will now play around with new villains and explore new characters as the big bad villains of the MCU. Here’s how things will play out in Phase 4:

Black Widow – November 6, 2020

Eternals – February 12, 2021

Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings – May 7, 2021

Spider-Man 3 – July 16, 2021

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness – November 5, 2021

Thor: Love And Thunder – February 18, 2022

Black Panther 2 – May 6, 2022

Captain Marvel 2 – July 8, 2022

The following 7 Disney+ series will also be placed between these films – The Falcon And The Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, What If…?, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight & She-Hulk.

Avengers: Endgame: Why Thanos’ Headbutt Had No Effect on Captain Marvel

Thanos’ Headbutt No Effect on Captain Marvel:

Captain Marvel is arguably the strongest hero of the MCU. She along with Scarlet Witch are really the overpowered ones and that’s mainly because of the origin of their abilities. Both Scarlet Witch & Captain Marvel were humans who got abilities from the Infinity Stones. And that’s why they were probably the only two heroes who almost took Thanos down if it wasn’t for his cheating reversals. Captain Marvel managed to establish the fact that she is much stronger than Thanos. But we’ve got a theory that might actually answer how Thanos felt so inferior against Captain Marvel.

Heroic Acts of Thanos

With 6 Infinity Stones at his disposal, Thanos was unbeatable in Infinity War. Thor almost took him down, but still Thanos managed to fulfill his goal. In Endgame, he came without the stones. All he brought in was his sword, his strength and battle experience. And he still was tough for the big three Avengers to take down. Iron Man, Captain America & Thor together could not defeat Thanos. Cap came close but he was surely underpowered. Scarlet Witch also came close & so did Captain Marvel.

While Scarlet Witch has strong abilities, she doesn’t have indestructible superhuman strength. If Thanos would’ve laid one hand on her, she would’ve suffered an even worse death than her lover or her brother. That isn’t the case for Captain Marvel. She was so strong that Thanos tried to surprise her with a head butt and she didn’t even blink. It was a Batman V Superman moment where Batsy punched Superman and he didn’t even move. Only this time, Batman was Thanos, a powerless man wearing his broken armor, & Captain Marvel was Superman, the omnipotent hero raised on Earth. That little head butt right there proved that Captain Marvel is much stronger than Thor. Thanos wiped the floor with Thor, but to take push Captain Marvel away, he needed some external help.

Thanos’ Headbutt No Effect on Captain Marvel

CBR presents a theory that tells us how Captain Marvel seemed so insanely powerful. As we know, her powers originate from the Space Stone. That’s why she could turn into a super saiyan, shoot energy blasts and fly faster than a tracer bullet. And this power from the Infinity Stones is probably what gave Captain Marvel an extra energy boost when she was trying to stop Thanos from closing his fist. Apparently, she instantly connected to the raw power of 6 Infinity Stones as she held Thanos’ hand. She started to draw even more power than Thanos could imagine, and that’s why the headbutt from the Mad Titan had absolutely no effect.

Thanos’ Headbutt No Effect on Captain Marvel

You could parallel it with Cyborg in Justice League. Since Cyborg’s powers are from a motherbox, he was able to establish a connection with the mother boxes when they formed the Unity. In theory he could actually draw more power from the Unity and that’s what happened when all the Infinity Stones were together. Captain Marvel absorbed power from it. But when Thanos took the power stone out, he broke the connection of Carol’s power absorption and she instantly became vulnerable while Thanos grew “power”ful.

Thanos’ Headbutt No Effect on Captain Marvel

This could work in theory, and with this analogy, even Scarlet Witch might be able to draw more power from the Infinity Gauntlet. Furthermore, this theory could be used to depower Captain Marvel in her second film. Because of her strength, the third act of Captain Marvel almost had no stakes in it. She wasn’t vulnerable and Yon Rogg was no match for her. Their last encounter turned in a good laugh in the theatres, but it wasn’t memorable at all. To raise the stakes and make Carol a bit relatable to us humans, Captain Marvel 2 will have to either bring a villain stronger than Carol or depower Captain Marvel.

Giving us the explanation that Captain Marvel was drawing power from the Infinity Gauntlet, and she got a little weaker as Thanos struck her with the Power Stone could work in depowering her, or presenting a stronger villain. We know that this theory is most likely to be shot down because Carol is as strong as she was shown, but still it’s a good explanation to why Captain Marvel suddenly had God level powers that exceeded even the God of Thunder.

The Original Look of Thanos is a Lot Like This DC God [Who Isn’t Darkseid]

Original look of Thanos is like DC God:

Thanos surely was one of the best villains of all time. People actually related to his character motivations as they became a pop-culture phenomenon. It’s too bad that DC’s Darkseid couldn’t become as big on the big screen. His motivations would’ve been much different from Thanos as the very unique Anti-Life Equation would’ve come into play. Even though these two villains are very different from each other, their demeanor and appearance still feels similar and quite threatening to be honest. One would think that the original designs for Thanos would’ve actually looked like the New God of Apokolips, Darkseid. But actually, the initial drawing for Thanos is actually to be inspired by a totally different DC God.

Marvel Executive Editor Tom Brevoort recently clarified to his followers that the first drawing of Thanos by Jim Starlin is inspired from DC’s Metron. He wrote – “Jim Starlin’s first drawing of Thanos.” Now take a good look at Metron:

Comic book readers and the ones who have been watching Young Justice would be familiar with who Metron is. Moving on, Thanos kept growing and evolving with the Eternals & Deviants coming into play. Jim Starlin himself confirmed that his drawing of Thanos is not inspired by Darkseid. He said:

“This is probably one of the first concept drawings of Thanos I ever did… Jack Kirby’s Metron is clearly the more dominant influence in this character’s look. Not Darkseid. Both [Darkseid and Thanos] started off much smaller than they originally became. This was one of the drawings I had in my portfolio when I was hired by Marvel. It was later inked by Rich Buckler.”

Original Look of Thanos Is Like DC God

It is now that Thanos & Darkseid seem much more alike because they eventually grew in size and got hulking physiques. The MCU was really spot on with how they portrayed Thanos entirely. First of all, it was great casting as Josh Brolin really had the face, the voice & the personality to be the Mad Titan. The same would not have been the case for Darkseid in the DCEU, but he would’ve still looked awesome according to what Zack Snyder showed us from his Snydercut plans. Anyway, here’s fan art for a Thanos inspired Darkseid that I thought was really awesome. Take a look:

Original Look of Thanos Is Like DC God

Just a little change to Darkseid’s face here and we will get the accurate look that Injustice 2 got absolutely right. Like Thanos, Darkseid deserves to be on the big screen. Hopefully, WB will release the Snyder cut and give us our first look at Darkseid. After all, we would have seen the younger version of Darkseid in the movie, Uxas, and then the ending would’ve revealed the first look at the New God of DC.

Original Look of Thanos Is Like DC God

Art By Dratini

Yes, this post changed from Thanos & Metron to Darkseid because I need to see him in the Snyder cut. I just can’t stop talking about it after knowing the following details from Zack Snyder’s vision for the Justice League trilogy:

“Snyder’s Justice League would play like the theatrical version, with one ending twist: Darkseid revealing himself to the League, as Steppenwolf’s master.

Justice League 2 would’ve gone cosmic, with the League mounting an attack on Apokolips and Darkseid. That major event would’ve brought the New Gods of New Genesis and the Green Lantern Corps into the mix.

The second movie would’ve ended on a dark and ominous loss, as Darkseid thrashed the Justice League and killed Lois Lane, taking Superman prisoner and creating the “Dark Superman” we saw in Batman v Superman through the Anti-Life Equation

Justice League 3 would’ve seen Darkseid invade Earth without the League there to defend it, conquering the planet and creating the “Knightmare” reality in Batman v Superman.

Through several time travel loops (including Flash’s failed warning to Bruce in Batman v Superman) Batman would have to reach Superman and bring him back on the side of good, so that the League could defeat Darkseid and save the world.”

Too bad we won’t get to see all of this.

Avengers: Endgame – Alternate Version for How Thanos Broke Cap’s SHIELD Revealed

Alternate Version for How Thanos Broke Cap’s SHIELD :

The final battle of Avengers: Endgame was a massive roller coaster. It dropped from highs to lows within an instant and all we did was watch whatever’s happening on-screen with big jaw drops & loud screams! Right after Cap summons Thor’s hammer, we feel happy and in the very next instant, Thanos breaks Cap’s shield to fulfill Tony’s vision from Age of Ultron. This roller coaster continues throughout the final battle, but let’s talk about Thanos breaking Cap’s shield.

Vibranium is supposed to be the strongest metal on Earth. And yet we saw Thanos shred it into pieces like it was nothing. The expression you see on Cap’s face here is true fear! Chris Evans is not counted amongst the greatest actors of Hollywood but he totally is. You could feel that Cap is frightened to the core, and that threatened us even more.

Alternate Version for How Thanos Broke Cap’s SHIELD

The writers & directors teased the fact that Thanos was holding the Uru metal in his hands and that is why he was able to break Cap’s shield into half. Virbranium may be the strongest metal on Earth but it isn’t the strongest metal in the Universe. With the digital release of the movie came the exclusive audio commentary of Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, and Joe & Anthony Russo. So, they talked about Thanos’ sword saying:

“Markus: While vibranium is the strongest substance on Earth, whatever Thanos’ straight razor there is made out of is stronger.

Joe Russo: Well Thanos clearly knew Eitri.”

Heroic Acts of Thanos

Uru wasn’t name-dropped. Perhaps it was left for the future to reveal, but it makes sense that Thanos broke the shield with his double-bladed sword. There was an alternate version of this scene where Thanos broke the shield with his bare hands. There’s no denial in the fact that Thanos is extremely strong, but him being able break Vibranium might have been too much. The concept art coming from Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame: The Art of the Movie book surely would’ve looked epic. Take a look:

Thanos unleashing his inner Harambe on the shield would have been jaw-dropping, but it would’ve signified one more thing. In the final fight, we saw that Captain Marvel’s power levels were even higher than Thanos. So if Thanos would’ve shattered the shield with his bare hands, then theoretically, it would also be possible that Captain Marvel could do it at her full strength. And no hero should be given that much power. Captain Marvel is already way too OP and we fear that her next film will not have high stakes and emotional depth. So it is good that the creatives chose to use Thanos’ sword for the shield. Not because of the Captain Marvel point I’ve made here, but because the sword makes more sense.

Alternate Version for How Thanos Broke Cap’s SHIELD

It opens up an explanation for the future. Eitri could return in the future to create one more weapon (may be for Jane), and he could retcon Thanos’ sword by explaining the attributes of the Uru metal. After all, we have reason to believe that Mjolnir, Stormbreaker, and Thanos’ blade were all made from the same metal. Perhaps the metal hasn’t been named yet because shards of Thanos’ broken blade will be turned into MCU’s Adamantium. Let’s see what happens.

Alternate Version for How Thanos Broke Cap’s SHIELD

Directed by Joe & Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Chris Pratt as Star Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Vin Diesel as Groot, Dave Bautista as Drax, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Gwyneth Paltrow Pepper Potts, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Benedict Wong as Wong, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, William Hurt as General Ross, Tilda Swinton as Ancient One and Josh Brolin as Thanos.

4 New Deleted Scenes of Thanos’ Black Order Members Have Been Revealed

Deleted Scenes of Thanos Black Order:

Infinity War brought in the Black Order. They were extremely strong but sadly the movie couldn’t focus much on them. That’s because Thanos was the established big guy, and so the Black Order members were only used as generals in Thanos’ army. Apparently, the Avengers managed to take down all of them quite conveniently. They were sort of the stepping stones that the Avengers had to beat in order to reach the next level, i.e. Thanos. But apparently there were test footage & scenes that were planned for the members of the Black Order and even the Outriders. Let’s take a look at 4 of those deleted scenes of Thanos’ Black Order members sequences:

Vision V Corvus Glaive

VFX Test – Vision kills Corvus [0:25] from marvelstudios

Vision hasn’t been fairly used in the MCU. In the Civil War, Vision was mostly kept out of the fight since he was way too overpowered. He could have taken down team Captain America on his own. But all he did was save Black Panther and attend to Wanda. Then in Infinity War, he was incapacitated instantly. Corvus Glaive surprised him by stabbing his Vibranium body. The aforementioned test footage of Covuus Glaive shows how easy it would’ve been for Vision to defeat Glaive if his Phasing was still an option. It’d be nice to see Vision unleash his power sometime in the future.

Cull Obsidian

VFX Test – Cull Obsidian versus the Military [0:32] from marvelstudios

In Infinity War, Wong transported Cull Obsidion onto a snowy plane. Apparently, there was a test footage sequence that would’ve come after that. Obsidion would’ve laid waste to a military convoy attack and then one of the other Black Order members would’ve picked him up. But this scene would’ve been pointless.

Proxima Midnight

VFX Test – Proxima Midnight steals Captain America’s Shield [0:23] from marvelstudios

This is just test footage, but since Mjolnir & Cap’s shield are back, we could place this scene in Endgame. Perhaps Cap would’ve thrown both his weapons at Proxima Midnight. A fight between Proxima and Cap would have been nice. It would’ve given Proxima a moment in the final Endgame fight (which she didn’t get). But it’s okay. No one’s missing her anyway.

Hawkeye vs. the Outriders

VFX Test – Hawkeye vs the Outriders [0:25] from marvelstudios

Clint did get a cool sequence with the Outriders in Avengers: Endgame and this scene show that it could’ve been even creepier. It also suggests that Hawkeye might’ve found it extremely difficult to power through Thanos’ brainless 4 armed minions.

Why Thor & Hawkeye Survived in Endgame

These scenes come from the Infinity Saga Box Set. It’s good that Hawkeye managed to survive the Endgame war being just a mere mortal human. Now, we’d get more from Hawkeye as Marvel is finally giving him his own solo project in the form of a Disney+ series. This series will introduce a new character – Kate Bishop. She will be the successor to Hawkeye and will go on to join the Young Avengers.

Deleted Scenes of Thanos Black Order Members

We’re excited about this series because it is suspected that Hawkeye’s past from the last 5 years of being a vigilante will catch up to him. Even his family could be in danger and Kate Bishop will help him & his family out as she also completes her training as Clint Barton’s protégé. Recent news updates have suggested that new characters like Trick Shot and Tracksuit Mafia are also going to appear on the show. Let’s see what happens.

Deleted Hulk vs. Thanos Fight

Marvel’s future is huge and there’s a lot that could happen. Black Widow is going to kick off the future slate on May 1. Here’s how the rest of the Phase 4 slate looks like – The Falcon and The Winter Soldier in August 2020, The Eternals on November 6, 2020, WandaVision in December 2020, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on February 12, 2021, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on May 7, 2021, Loki in Spring 2021, Spider-Man 3 on July 16, 2021, What If? In Summer 2021, Hawkeye in Fall 2021, and Thor: Love and Thunder on November 5, 2021. Following these are Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight and She-Hulk. Black Panther 2 has been scheduled for May 6, 2022.

Infinity War – Why Thanos Didn’t Have a Wound on His Chest After He Escaped

Thanos Didn’t Have a Wound on His Chest:

Avengers: Infinity War surely is the best Avengers movie for most people. Avengers: Endgame did leave us very overwhelmed, and the first Avengers film is surely a piece of art, but none of the three Avengers films supersede Infinity War story wise. It really feels kinda bad when you find little mistakes in great movies. Infinity War is one of Marvel’s very best films and even this film isn’t mistake proof. There were quite a few continuity errors and Thor pronounced Nidavellir as “Nivadellir” a couple times. We’re ready to ignore that. But there’s one thing that many people have complained about, and that’s the stab wound which was missing at the end of Infinity War & at the beginning of Endgame.

Stormbreaker Concept Art Avengers 4

Thor reached peak strength in Infinity War. Stormbreaker is an insanely strong weapon. It definitely is an upgrade to Mjolnir. Although you don’t need to be worthy in order to wield it, an average human still can’t wield it because he/she would lack the strength. Just giving it a try would make their minds crumble & fall. But the perks of the axe are that it has a blue aura of the Gods that keeps it lit with a blue flame. It can cut through anything, channel lightning, withstand the wrath of a fully powered Infinity Gauntlet, and summon the bifrost. Talking about withstanding the Infinity Gauntlet, Thor struck Thanos and almost killed him. His only mistake was that he struck Thanos in his chest & didn’t go for the head.

Disney Avengers: Infinity War Avengers: Endgame

Still, Thanos had a pretty devastating wound on his chest. He would have definitely died with that wound. But after snapping, Thanos escaped Thor’s grasp using the damaged Infinity Gauntlet. The Gauntlet might be broken, but it was still functional. Thanos was still able to use the Space Stone. The next time we see Thanos was at the Garden where he had a damaged arm, but his wound was magically healed or something. People have been thinking of it as a mistake. Well, we’re here to solve your dilemma.

This wasn’t a mistake. Marvel is very particular when it comes to special effects. There are certain things that become clearer only when you watch certain scenes in slow motion. And if you slow down Thanos’ escape & focus on the chest, you’d notice a bit of green on his chest. This is enough to decipher that he didn’t just use the space stone to escape, but he also used the time stone to heal himself & bring his chest to its former self.

Doctor Strange Thanos Time Stone

Just like Thanos reversed time to bring Vision back to life, he was also able to heal his body and remove the devastating wound from his chest. Now you might ask that why was Thanos not able to heal his arm? Well, the answer to this question is that Thanos damaged his arm using the full might of the Infinity Gauntlet. That damage was permanent while the damage from Stormbreaker was reversible. You see how much slow-mo makes things better & much clearer. We expect this clarity to continue in the upcoming Disney+ movies and series.

Marvel’s future is huge and there’s a lot that could happen. Black Widow is going to kick off the future slate on May 1. Here’s how the rest of the Phase 4 slate looks like – The Falcon and The Winter Soldier in Fall 2020, The Eternals on November 6, 2020, WandaVision in 2020, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on February 12, 2021, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on May 7, 2021, Loki in Spring 2021, Spider-Man 3 on July 16, 2021, What If? In Summer 2021, Hawkeye in Fall 2021, and Thor: Love and Thunder on November 5, 2021. Following these are Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight and She-Hulk. Black Panther 2 has been scheduled for May 6, 2022.

Avengers: Endgame – Thanos Almost Got an Axe Instead of His Sword

Thanos Got an Axe Instead of His Sword:

Avengers: Endgame was the biggest movie Marvel has ever produced. Somewhere between 550-$600 Million went into production and marketing costs. With the number of characters that were a part of the film, this was bound to happen. Multiple characters in a movie also bring in multiple concept arts. We recently got a whole book of Concept Arts which showed us a bunch of unused scenes from Avengers: Infinity War & Endgame, multiple suit designs for the heroes and obviously for Thanos.

Axe Instead of His Sword

Now one more design of Thanos has made its way online. Apparently, Thanos’ weapon was going to be switched. We’ve seen some alternate designs for the double-edged sword he had, but it’s interesting to know that concept artists also worked on other weapon designs. Even Thanos almost got an ax. It was obviously very different than Stormbreaker. Take a look:

Axe Instead of His Sword

It would have been fun to see an Axe fight between Thor & Thanos, but the double-bladed sword was obviously a better choice. Not only was it a unique weapon different from the Axe or anything else that we’ve seen in the MCU, but it was also quite mysterious. Actually, it’s still a mystery until this date. It was an insanely strong weapon as with the right amount of force, it ripped Vibranium into pieces. Looking at the weapon, the question that popped into everyone’s minds was – “Which Metal is this sword made of, and where did he get it from?”

Axe Instead of His Sword

The creatives have hinted that Thanos knew about Eitri & Nidavellir, so perhaps Eitri was the one to design Thanos’ sword. Moreover, the Sword was magical as it came back to Thanos in the same way Thor’s hammer & Axe came back to him. So, part of the question has been answered. The blade did come from Nidavellir. The MCU hasn’t name-dropped Uru in the MCU just yet. Thor’s weapons have been assumed to be made up of Uru, so there’s a chance that Thanos’ blade is also made up of Uru.

How Thanos could return

One interesting aspect of the sword was that even though it was able to cut through Vibranium, it was still not unbreakable. Wanda managed to break the sword into 2 pieces. How strong is she? This probably proves that not Captain Marvel, but Scarlet Witch is the strongest Avenger. What’s even crazier is that Wanda hasn’t even established herself as the Scarlet Witch just yet. That will happen in the upcoming WandaVision series where she will finally unlock her reality-altering powers and give us the House of M storyline.

Thor Love And Thunder Introduce Beta Ray Bill

Coming back to Thanos’ weapon, it’s probably the strongest of all MCU weapons after the Infinity Gauntlet. But the strongest weapon is none other than the Stormbreaker. It was able to defy the raw strength of 6 Infinity Stones and hit Thanos. The future of MCU will bring in even more fascinating weapons into the mix. There are some of the great arte facts and weapons like the Norn Stones that we do wish to see in the near future. Let’s see what happens.

Infinity War: Thanos’ Tendency to Choke Enemies Related to Deep, Dark Childhood Secret

Thanos dark childhood secret:

If you might have noticed by now, Thanos has gotten his hands dirty so many times in the MCU. He has fought Iron Man, Thor, Spiderman, Doctor Strange and so many other superheroes from the Avengers and beyond in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that we have lost count. But recent news in the fan circles that is gaining traction is the Mad Titan has a sadistic fetish of choking his victims by grappling their necks. While that might sound hilarious to many, there is a darker side to that story that nobody but the most ardent of fans knows. For the people who don’t have an idea of what we are talking about, get ready to be surprised and saddened at the same time.

Thanos Dark Childhood Secret

Before we move into the crux of the storyline, we have to set a premise. Thanos is a powerful being who hails from a planet called Titan. He belongs to a race of beings called the Eternals. The Eternals were created by the Celestials, a race of cosmic beings that act as judges. Jury and executioner for entire civilizations! If they deem a world unworthy of a chance to continue further, they will destroy it without any remorse and let other sentient life forms take their place. The Celestials were interested in the superhuman capability of early humans. They took certain specimens of early cavemen and used their hyper-advanced technology to accelerate their evolution. And thus, the superhuman race of Eternals was formed.

The Eternals were blessed with longevity, endurance, flight, strength, speed and the ability to manipulate cosmic energy beyond anything the average human could ever hope to achieve or comprehend. They were seen as Gods amongst men. But the experiment that created the Eternals also created another race – the Deviants. The Deviants were the sworn enemies of Eternals. While the Eternals were beautiful and gifted, the Deviants were actually hideous and were blessed with only a few abilities courtesy of their intense genetic make-up that allowed for incredible mutation with each successive generation.

Eternals Details Revealed. Thanos’ Brother Have Been Cast

The Eternals and the Deviants are locked in an eternal war of dominion over Earth. Even though they are both off-shoots of humanity created by the Celestials, they have an intense and bloody rivalry.

Thanos Dark Childhood Secret

Now coming to Thanos, as you might have seen both in Infinity War and in Endgame, Thanos has tried to choke the Avengers to death on more than one occasion. And there is a specific reason why he has a tendency to do that and it is related to a traumatic memory of Thanos as a child.

MCU Phase 4 Eternals Introduced Through Multiverse

Thanos is an Eternal born with a very unique mutation. This mutation allowed Thanos to share his genetic make-up with both the Eternals and the Deviants. As a result, Thanos was a being that had the cosmic energy manipulation powers of the Eternals as well as the superhuman strength and durability of the Deviants. One of the die effects of the mutation was that Thanos looked extremely hideous. He looked so ugly and despicable that his mother, Sui-San, tried to kill him, specifically by either choking or then stabbing the new-born Thanos in his sleep. If not for his father who took pity on his child and apprehended and sedated Sui-San, Thanos would have been killed by being strangulated by his own mother.

That event somehow must have had a heavy impact on Thanos. The fact that his own mother could try to choke her son must have done quite a number on his psyche. Many times, victims of childhood trauma subconsciously remind themselves of what was done to them over and over again, driving them into madness. Thanos the “Mad “Titan regularly reminds him-self of his mother’s actions by choking his victims to death – the same way his mother tried to kill him when he was a child. While the theory does seem plausible enough, we hope it is not true. The fact that even the Mad Titan had parental issues when he was a child signifies just how relatable and depressing Thanos’ childhood must have been.

Tony Stark Kisses Thanos in This Bizarre Avengers: Endgame Video

Avengers: Endgame is the biggest film of the year. It hasn’t just earned the biggest film of all time, but it has also been the film that has brought in the most number of memes. And we’ve got a new video of Avengers: Endgame that actually fulfills the wild fantasies that some people (unlike me) don’t mention every day. Here’s a fan edit that shows Tony Stark kisses Thanos in the Soul World. Take a look:

Well, there was a time when the internet did have the hots for Thanos. Joe and Anthony Russo actually made Thanos too sexy for some people. Girls and guys wanted him alike. And now, we also see Tony’s weird fantasy in the fan-edited Avengers: Endgame video.

Okay Jokes apart, Thanos from Avengers: Infinity War was really the best comic book movie villain ever. He fulfilled his life-long goal and actually made people relate to his motivations. Thanos in Endgame wasn’t as great motivation-wise, but he still was the strongest villain the Avengers had ever fought. So kudos to him as well.

More Snap Victims

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Vin Diesel as Groot, Dave Bautista as Drax, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Gwyneth Paltrow Pepper Potts, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Benedict Wong as Wong, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, William Hurt as General Ross, Tilda Swinton as Ancient One and Josh Brolin as Thanos.

Avengers: Endgame – The Arrogance of Thanos is What Killed Him

The arrogance of Thanos Killed Him:

Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame is loosely based on the Infinity Gauntlet Saga. Some of the elements were taken from that infamous comic story but Marvel really did their own thing and actually made things better. But one thing that was common in both the comics and Endgame was that the arrogance of Thanos is what killed him. First, let’s see what really happened in the Infinity Gauntlet Storyline.

Arrogance of Thanos

Thanos had already wiped half the population of the entire Universe in order to impress Lady Death. Neither the leftover Avengers nor the Celestial beings such as Galactus were able to defeat Thanos. His omnipotence rose to the highest ranks because he had access to all 6 Infinity Gems. But he loses the Gauntlet because of a mistake that he himself commits.

He lets Mephisto manipulate him. Mephisto claimed instigated Thanos that his gigantic Ego doesn’t allow him to make the full use of his power. So, to make it large, Thanos fights Eternity. He actually ends up winning this massive battle and taking the place of Eternity, leaving his physical body sitting on his chair.

Arrogance of Thanos Killed Him

This is the moment where Nebula actually manages to grab the Gauntlet from Thanos’ hand since the body is just sitting lifeless as his astral form has taken the place of Eternity. And with this mistake that he commits being blinded by Ego and overconfidence, he allows someone else to have the upper hand against him when all odds were actually in his favor.

This is exactly what happened in the movie as well. He was again killed by his own arrogance. As Thanos arrived on Earth, he met with Nebula. She tells her father that “they [Avengers] suspected nothing.” To this Thanos replies – “the Arrogant never do.” And a massive battle later, Thanos showed that very arrogance.

Arrogance of Thanos

He fought Captain Marvel, used the Power Stone to push her away; brilliant! But then Tony Stark came in to try and stop Thanos. He stole away the stones and Thanos didn’t notice. Tony did that using the magic of Nano-tech, but Thanos should really have noticed that the Stones were gone. Before snapping, he actually looks at the Gauntlet and with there’s one angle where he really should’ve been able to see that at least the Time Stone was missing from his thumb. But he was so blinded by his arrogance, he really wanted to have the last laugh saying “I am Inevitable”, that he actually missed out on the fact that the stones are gone! The result of this? Thanos lost the upper hand.

How Thanos could return

He was absolutely right in saying that the arrogant never suspect anything. Again just like in the comics, he died because of his own mistake. And his death was so amazing. He doesn’t die in the Infinity Gauntlet storyline as Adam Warlock leaves him on his farm, but justice was served in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He disintegrated doing the one thing that he always loved to do, i.e. sitting down. He got a taste of his own medicine and it was so satisfying to watch. That’s why we’ve gotta love Marvel.

Deleted Hulk vs. Thanos Fight

Now, we’ve got so much more to look forward to. Marvel’s future is huge and there’s a lot that could happen. Black Widow is going to kick off the future slate on May 1. Here’s how the rest of the Phase 4 slate looks like – The Falcon and The Winter Soldier in Fall 2020, The Eternals on November 6, 2020, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on February 12, 2021, WandaVision in Spring 2021, Loki in Spring 2021, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on May 7, 2021, Spider-Man 3 on July 16, 2021, What If? In Summer 2021, Hawkeye in Fall 2021, and Thor: Love and Thunder on November 5, 2021. Following these are Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight and She-Hulk. Black Panther 2 has been scheduled for May 6, 2022.

Avengers: Endgame Script Reveals Why Thanos Sent Gamora & Nebula To Ronan

Thanos Sent Gamora & Nebula To Ronan:

Avengers: Endgame hid so many details within that we almost lost count of the number of Easter Eggs that were there in the film. But a lot more about the movie was actually revealed by the many deleted scenes that came with the BluRay pack, Disney+ and with the Infinity Saga Box Set. And now, the technicalities that weren’t revealed by any of these have been revealed by the script of the film, which is available online for us to read. The script has revealed so many details, and the latest one is that it revealed the reason behind Thanos sending his daughters to Ronan.

Avengers: Endgame Theory Nebula Gamora

As you all may remember, Thanos sent Gamora & Nebula to Ronan back in Guardians of the Galaxy. Then Gamora betrayed him while Nebula stuck with him. Well, we never really got the exact reason as to why Thanos sent the two women to aid Ronan, as all of us assumed that it was just so Ronan gets extra help. But the Endgame script has revealed a cut line that wasn’t in the movie. During the time heist segment of 2014, the good Gamora tells Rhodey that they aren’t the only ones looking for the stones in 2014. Thanos, Gamora and bad Nebula were also there fighting Korbinites.

It is after this that Thanos tells Gamora & Bad Nebula that Ronan has uncovered the location of the Power Stone. It was at Morag. He then tells them that he’d send the two women with Ronan because “Ronan’s obsession clouds his judgement. After Loki, I’m taking no chances.” So clearly, Thanos was sending his daughters because he didn’t want any more failures like Loki. Along with this little detail, the script has revealed many others. Here’s a list of every other big reveal that came from the script:

Old Cap’s Age

The script reveals that Old Steve’s Age in 2023 is 112 yrs. This age doesn’t count the 66 years he was frozen in ice. So technically, Cap’s age in the MCU is 178 years.

3 More Snap Victims

Reveals More Snap

Endgame revealed holograms of many snapped victims. But the script has revealed three more names that weren’t shown. These are Jane Foster, Wong and Secretary Thaddeus Ross.

Tony’s Cabin

Tony started a new family in the 5 year time jump. He did what he teased in Age of Ultron – built Pepper a house on a farm & lived there. The name of this lake Cabin is “Stark Eco-Compound”.

Morgan’s Age

The script reveals that little baby Morgan was 4 years old. That means Tony probably got married right after he returned to Earth in 2018. And Morgan was born in 2019.

Older Cassie’s Age

Emma Furhman plays older Cassie Lang. She is 14 years old now. This means she was 9 years old in Ant-Man and the Wasp. And little Peanut was 6 in Ant-Man.

Korbinites

Origin of Nova

In 2014, Nebula & Gamora were actually fighting Korbinites. They were laying waste to the planet – Korbin. This sets up Beta Ray Bill’s origin in the MCU perfectly.

Dormammu

Major MCU Villain

Right when it gives a demo of a dark branch reality by removing the time stone, the camera would zoom into that branch & it would reveal Dormammu. It’d reveal a future possibility by showing the destruction of Hong Kong, referring to the events of Doctor Strange.

Tony’s final thought

Final Thoughts of Tony Stark Before Dying

Right after Tony’s snap, Rhodey, Peter & Pepper bid him farewell. His final words were “Hey Pepp”. But what he wanted to say was “I’m sorry,” to Pepper. He was sorry for leaving Pepper to raise Morgan alone. Good thing that Pepper forgave him already!

How Tony Knew about 1970

Tony & Cap needed to improvise to get the Tesseract and more Pym Particles. Tony takes the both of them to 1970, but no one stopped to ask how Tony knew that specific location. Well, there’s a specific explanation behind how Tony knew when exactly he needs to travel in time so he could find the Tesseract and Pym Particles together. In the Endgame script, page 33 shows a particular photo at Tony’s Cabin. The scene reads – “PHOTOS crowd a side table: Pepper, Morgan, Tony. Even one of HOWARD STARK, PEGGY CARTER & HANK PYM UNDER A SHIELD SYMBOL.” This was how Tony knew which year he needs to go back in.

Avengers: Endgame Producers Have Possibly Revealed How Thanos Could Return

How Thanos could return:

It will be a while until Marvel brings in a villain that could actually fill Thanos’ big shoes. There are some great villains coming in who could actually do this together, but still, the magnificence of Thanos might take a while to replicate. Doctor Doom, the Mandarin, the Leader & Norman Osborn might be the big earth-based villains that will be explored in the upcoming films, but they won’t reach the Thanos level greatness just yet. It could be Galactus who would finally best Thanos, but there is a major chance for Thanos to return to the MCU as well.

How Thanos

The Loki series could show Thanos from his part of the multiverse. And Eternals could bring in a younger version of Thanos. But we’ve come across info that actually suggests how Thanos isn’t dead and he could be brought back. A deleted scene from the Infinity Saga Box Set reveals a conversation between Smart Hulk and the Ancient One that we didn’t see happen in the film. Here the Ancient One explains what happens to the people who were snapped. She told Bruce that these snapped people were wiped out of existence. There is a difference between killing people & wiping ‘em out of existence. She explains that one of these acts is reversible, while the other isn’t.

Thanos could return

Even Marvel producers have agreed to this. In fact they’ve added more to this. Marvel Studios co-president Louis D’Esposito said “When someone dies, you cannot bring them back. It’s not like when Thanos snapped his fingers. You can reverse that.” Now this is exactly what the Ancient One explained. Producers Trinh Tran also had something to say. She explains that Tony did exactly what Thanos did, on a smaller scale. She said – “[Tony chooses] to snap his finger and blip Thanos and his minions away to save the universe.”

Hulk lost his arm in Endgame

Now all this is exactly why Hulk failed to revive Black Widow when Hulk brought everyone else back. Black Widow is dead permanently. She wasn’t wiped out of existence. Everyone who was dusted has just been wiped out of existence and could be made to exist if someone collects the Infinity Stones once again. We really doubt that the chapter of Infinity Stones is completely closed, and if the Stones could return, then there’s a chance that Thanos could return as well. He was such a major personality that we can almost be sure that Marvel will try and bring him back in somehow. Thanos from Infinity War obviously died.

Thanos could return

When people were snapped, they turned into dust & got mixed with the Atmosphere. But Hulk’s snap extracted those particles back into living beings. We still don’t know what happened to the souls of the snap victims. The theory is that these souls were trapped in the Quantum Realm. Because that would explain the flood of energy right when Thanos snapped. So, the souls of Thanos & his army could be trapped in the Quantum Realm. Someone could collect all Infinity Stones from the past again. And they could bring Thanos back into existence. But who could possibly do that?

Deleted Hulk vs. Thanos Fight

There’s obviously a chance that Thanos will become a thing of the past in the coming future since Marvel will be flooded with so many other characters. So, we’ll have to wait and see what happens.

Why Hela is Stronger Than Thanos and Could Come Back

Thor Ragnarok is easily one of the best MCU films and the best film in Thor trilogy (soon to be a quadrilogy). And there were many reasons for Ragnarok to be amazing. One of them was a strong villain in Hela. Hela, the Goddess of Death and the daughter of Odin was shown as mighty powerful. Now, we are discussing the possibility of why Hela is stronger than Thanos and could she be back in future MCU projects?

Thanos Had Different Names in Infinity War & Endgame
Thanos was the big bad for MCU till now

Thanos is always perceived as the most powerful villain of MCU. Why wouldn’t he be? It took a massive army of superheroes & intergalactic forces to beat him. In fact, needless to say, he won the 1st battle in Infinity War. He pushed Avengers to gasp for the last breath of strength. Even though our mighty heroes won the final battle, it cost us Iron Man & Black Widow. If Doctor Strange hadn’t teleported the heroes on time, Thanos would have smashed Cap, Thor & Iron Man. One of the most memorable fight scenes involves the one between Cap & the Mad Titan. Fans had almost held their breaths when Thanos demonstrated his full strength. He not only knocked down Cap but also sliced the unbreakable vibranium shield. However, it took Thanos to break some sweat to fight Cap with his sword. And how can we forget when Cap lifted the Mjolnir & smacked down Thanos?

Hela: The Goddess of Death
Hela: The Goddess of Death

But when Thor’s elder sister, Odin’s 1st born was attacked with the Mjolnir, She grabbed it with one hand & destroyed it like it were a pencil. And she wasn’t worthy of wielding the Mjolnir, it was her strength. Mjolnir produced from Uru metal found in Nidavellir star, one of the 9 Realms. So a vibranium shield is nothing compared to the Godly Mjolnir that Hela easily broke. Hela, introduced in Thor: Ragnarok was 1 of the biggest threats Thor had ever faced. Stronger than Loki, Malekith & Ultron, she is the Goddess of Death. She not only destroyed the hammer but sent the God of Thunder away in Space. After losing his greatest weapon, Thor ended up in Sakaar & took a whole movie to defeat Hela.

Captain Marvel Characters
Surtur was Asgard’s Doom

Technically, Thor never defeated Hela nor he ever could. Had Surtur not been resurrected &apparently killed Hela, Thor wouldn’t have won. Thor had higher chances of killing Thanos over Hela. Defeating Hela even cost him Asgard as Surtur destroyed the planet along with his sister. Evidently, Hela, Goddess of Death is the strongest MCU villain.

Asgard was completely destroyed, but we never saw Hela dying

And this is why Hela could be back because we never saw her dead body or had a look at her in her moment of death. Of course, with Asgard destroyed she could’ve been destroyed, but this is the Goddess of death we are talking about. Though she isn’t immortal, she does have a command over the dead and that’s how she could be resurrected. In the comics also, she has been bought back to restore balance to the Universe. Even Cate Blanchett who plays Hela said the following about her return:

There’s always a way back, but I’m sure there’s always a way forward.

“Who know? Sure. I never say no to anything.”

Thor 4 Mighty Thor Infinity War Novel
Thor 4: Love and Thunder

Now, that Avengers have also explored the possibility of time travel, we might see that angle coming in as well to see Hela’s return and explore the history of Asgard in upcoming MCU films. We already know Thor 4: Love and Thunder is happening and for better or worse we could see some shots at Hela, or in other MCU projects.

And in her comics description as well, Hela is described as

She possesses attributes common to Asgardian gods. She possesses superhuman strength, speed, stamina, agility and durability. When wearing her cloak, she is far stronger than the vast majority of her race.

Stormbreaker

Imagine Hela with a weapon as strong as Stormbreaker or something else, she could easily take down someone. After all, she helped Odin rule over the 9 realms and expanded his kingdom.

So, do you also think Hela is stronger than Thanos? Do let us know in the comments. And do you want her to see her again on the big screen?

Kevin Feige Teases That Thanos Could Appear in Eternals

Thanos appear in Eternals:

Eternals is going to be the third Phase 4 project and the second MCU movie coming out in 2020. And it has the potential to be even more surprising than Black Widow, or any other Phase 4 movie. Why? Because no one really knows what we could expect from this particular film. It could be the next Guardians of the Galaxy, or perhaps better because of the brand image that Marvel has now. There have only been 2 major connections to the Eternals in the MCU, the Celestials and Thanos. And both of them could appear in Eternals.

Thanos appear in Eternals

We aren’t really sure about whether Thanos will appear in Eternals, but when Kevin Feige was asked about it, he didn’t deny it. Here’s what he said at CCXP:

“Thanos in the comics was an Eternal on Titan, so there may be connections. But really this is about introducing those ten new characters that are played by an incredibly eclectic amazing group of actors that we’re focusing on.”

Thanos is an Eternal with a Deviant Gene. And this film is going to be about both Eternals & Deviants. So, it is rather obvious that Thanos will make an appearance to establish certain connections. While we’re not sure about Thanos, we can certainly sure that Celestials will have a major role to play in the film.

Eternals Plot Details

Here’s what Kevin Feige said:

“The Eternals know about the existence of The Avengers. The Avengers don’t know much about The Eternals…Yet. Celestials are a big part of it, you’ve seen a little of the Celestials in Guardians of the Galaxy. Nowhere is the severed head of a Celestial. We will see the Celestials in their full, true enormous power in The Eternals.”

Ancient Time Period of Eternals Revealed Thanos appear in Eternals

The Celestials are the creators of Eternals & Deviants. So it’d be interesting to see their role manifest in the movie. At CCXP, Marvel debuted the first-ever footage of Eternals, and it more or less confirmed that Druig will be amongst the villains, as he’d lead the Deviants. Here’s the description of the footage revealed by Marvel Studios:

“Druig (Barry Keoghan) the leader of Deviants opens doors to what looks like a training camp. He finds part of The Eternals reunited with Ikaris (Richard Madden) at the front. He stares at them and says “Welcome. Feel at home.” The preview then alternates several images of the Eternals scattered around different parts of the world, all with a sacred or magnanimous appearance. They all appear together in uniform, apparently led by Ajak (Salma Hayek). In alternating scenes and glimpses, they gather around a bonfire, and Thena (Angelina Jolie) appears lit by the fire. Ajak and Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani) appear to be riding horses.

The scenes seem to show us many different cultures around the globe, but there is one character who appears several times alone and is definitely a mysterious highlight of the footage: Sersi (Gemma Chan). When they all come together on the beach, Sersi clasps Sprite (Lia McHugh) in what appears to be a solemn act. The preview ends with Ajak saying “these people have changed us. We need to protect them.”

Eternals Plot Details

Kevin Feige said that we’d be able to see this footage in about 2 months. So, we could actually expect the first trailer of Eternals in February or may be March. If not the Eternals, then we’d definitely see the first trailer of The Falcon And The Winter Soldier sometime soon. Let’s see what happens.

Avengers: Endgame – The Deleted Hulk vs. Thanos Fight Has Been Revealed

Deleted Hulk vs. Thanos Fight:

Avengers: Endgame concept arts have specifically revealed so much that we missed out in the theatrical cut of the movie. There were a lot of ideas about how Hulk could be used in the final battle, and even in other scenes throughout the film, but for him, everything was brought down to just bring everyone back after Thanos’ snap. The last time we saw Hulk before Endgame was when he fought Thanos. And the next thing we got to see was Smart Hulk. Everyone would agree to the fact that a Hulk vs. Thanos scene had to be in Endgame no matter what.

Thor, Captain America & Iron Man got to fight Thanos big time. Even the likes of Wanda & Captain Marvel got to face off against him. In all of this, we really wanted for Hulk to smash him just once. Even if it was just for a little punch, it would have been worth it. But none of it happened. Still, it’d be wrong to think that there were no plans for it because there obviously were. Hulk was supposed to fight Thanos according to Avengers: Endgame – The Art of the Movie book. Take a look at the concept art revealed in it.

Well actually now that we’ve come to think of it, this concept of art could be for a rematch in Avengers: Infinity War as well. With the Infinity Saga Box set came almost 57 minutes’ worth of deleted scenes. Among those scenes was one where the Hulk & Banner had a conversation within the Hulkbuster suit. Banner said something like this “Hulk, I know you like to make an appearance at the last second. Now this is the very last second.” This happens why Cull Obsidion was taking down the Hulkbuster.

Avengers Infinity War Deleted Scenes

Instead of just saying “Noo”, the Hulk replies “Noo, Banner doesn’t like Hulk. Banner only needs Hulk to fight.” Banner replies – “But, you kinda like to do that.” Hulk – “I want to live.” Banner – “So do I. Let’s try and do that together.” And from within the Hulkbuster armor emerges Smart Hulk who then kicks Cull Obsidion’s Ass. Following that comes a scene where Natasha tries to work a Lullaby. And the Banner surprises her by saying “It’s me. I’ve worked it out. It is not the best, but it’s manageable.” The concept art we see above could be a part of the Infinity War because Hulk & Thanos might have fought after Natasha’s failed Lullaby.

Deleted Fight

Whatever the case, a Hulk vs Thanos 2.0 should have happened. But it’s done now. Our next target should be Hulk vs. Red Hulk because that could happen in the upcoming She-Hulk series. But even beyond that, we need to see a Hulk vs. Wolverine movie. Mark Ruffalo recently confirmed that he also wants this to happen and has even pitched the idea to Kevin Feige himself. So, should we lock the first Wolverine movie to be about a face-off with Hulk? Yes, and it could probably happen in 2024 or 2025.

Deleted Hulk vs. Thanos Fight

Marvel’s future is huge and there’s a lot that could happen. Black Widow is going to kick off the future slate on May 1.

Avengers: Infinity War Concept Shows Thanos at Ages of 13, 17 and 22

Infinity War Concept Shows Thanos:

Avengers: Infinity War & Avengers: Endgame could’ve done a whole lot of extra stuff, but time was a constraint. Because of that, we never got the backstory of Thanos. Apparently, there was at least 10 minutes’ worth of flashback sequences that were supposed to be a part of Avengers: Infinity War, but we never got that due to time constraints. Still, we do suspect that we might get to see young Thanos in an Eternals movie down the line. But right now, we’ve got some designs for a young Thanos. Take a look:

Thanos

“Thanos age progression! This was done when we were going to show more of his backstory in the film. The ages are meant to be how old the audience would see him, not how old he actually is. So much fun working on this guy for the Russo Brothers! #thanos” —Ryan Meinerding

Thanos

Thanos is an Eternal with a deviant gene, and we’d be really surprised it there are no references made to Thanos. He was the biggest MCU villain of all time and we’d love to see more of him in the future. There are certain projects which could use Thanos to their advantage. Eternals, as we’ve mentioned, is one of those. Then there’s Loki which could also bring Thanos into the picture. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness could have a different version of Thanos.

Thanos Had Different Names in Infinity War & Endgame

One thing we should note is that the 2 versions of Thanos we saw in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame were very different. In fact, the creatives also called them with different names. Thanos from Infinity War was referred to as Philosopher Thanos and the one in Endgame was called Warrior Thanos. These names really are very accurate. But Warrior Thanos actually suffered from Marvel’s villain problem. From here on, we’d call Infinity War’s Thanos the Philosopher and Endgame’s Thanos the Warrior.

Thanos Had Different Names in Infinity War & Endgame

Endgame gives us a gut punch by actually killing off Philosopher right in the beginning of the film, but then later brings Warrior into the story with a mere coincidence. Warrior was actually tough to beat for the big three just like Philosopher was. But the difference between the two is compassion and their ultimate motives. Philosopher was such a great villain because he was the hero of his own story. Moreover, we saw that he actually had a forgiving nature and was a man of his word. He spared the lives of the people in exchange of the Infinity Stones. Something changed in Thanos in the last 4 years, which is why he turned into the Philosopher from the Warrior.

Thanos Had Different Names in Infinity War & Endgame

His motivation was to save the Universe by providing the balance it needed. But Warrior came in to obliterate the Universe and start a new one. Ultimately it came down to the cliché overused plot of this decade, which was a restart through Universal genocide. Now you do understand why Warrior wants to do that, but doing this makes Philosopher’s motivations in Infinity War completely pointless. Philosopher was trying to achieve perfection in through balance. He wanted the Universe to get better as it is. He could have done what Warrior did in an instant, but he didn’t.

Infinity War Concept Shows

Since Warrior was different, he felt like someone we don’t really know. Take for example the Scarlet Witch V Warrior scene. Wanda says you took everything from me, and Warrior replies with “I don’t even know who you are.” This scene is good for a laugh, but we haven’t spent enough time with Warrior care about him. Then this is followed by a cowardly move as Warrior orders to rain fire on his own troops. Philosopher would not have done that.

Thanos Had Different Names in Infinity War & Endgame

I know this post was about the Thanos’ age differences but I just wanted to bring up how different the two Thanos’ were in Infinity War and Endgame. I played coy just like Marvel played with us when they made us believe that we’d see a villain with the quality of Philosopher in Endgame, but what we got was the Warrior. But then again, they had to show how Thanos wasn’t inevitable. So, we’re okay with it.

Thanos Had Different Names in Avengers: Infinity War & Avengers: Endgame

Thanos Different Names in Infinity War & Endgame:

Avengers: Infinity War was a much better film than Avengers: Endgame plot-wise. You won’t feel this right after you watch Endgame because the 3rd act of the film leaves you really overwhelmed and totally satisfied. But later when you have a realization about the plots of Infinity War and Endgame, then you’d realize how strong a film Infinity War was throughout, and how many loopholes did Endgame have. One of the big differences in Infinity War and Endgame was Thanos.

Thanos Had Different Names in Infinity War & Endgame

In Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos was more meaningful and we totally loved him, while in Avengers: Endgame, Thanos was more Thanus! What I mean by this is that yes he was the same guy from a different timeline, and he was much stronger than the one we saw in Infinity War, but he was still different. This version of Thanos hadn’t been through everything that Thanos from Infinity War had been through after the events of Guardians of the Galaxy. He was nowhere close to accomplishing his quest for the Infinity Stones.

Thanos Had Different Names in Infinity War & Endgame

So for these two different versions of Thanos, the creatives even had different names attached to them. In The Art of Avengers: Endgame book, concept artist Wesley Burt reveals that “He [Thanos] was always referred to as Warrior Thanos, as opposed to the Philosopher Thanos that would be in Infinity War.” So, Philosopher Thanos & Warrior Thanos really do have a cool ring to it! These two names describe the two different Thanos’ quite well.

Thanos Had Different Names in Infinity War & Endgame

From here on, we’d call Infinity War’s Thanos the Philosopher and Endgame’s Thanos the Warrior. Infinity War was told from the perspective of the Philosopher. He was established as the greatest villain in the MCU. But you cannot say that the Warrior was equally great in Endgame. The Warrior actually brings back the villain problem that Marvel was facing for the better part of Phase 1 & 2. Let’s see why Philosopher was better than Warrior.

His motivation was to save the Universe by providing the balance it needed. But Warrior came in to obliterate the Universe and start a new one. New Avengers: Endgame Deleted Scenes Tease the Return of Thanos & More

Avengers: Endgame Deleted Scenes:

Marvel’s Infinity Saga box set is finally available for people to buy. But it is selling for a really expensive price. Now why is it so expensive? Well, that’s because it has got a whole lot of extra footage along with the 23 MCU films. There’s at least 50 minutes’ worth of deleted scenes from almost all the movies. And there are multiple scenes from Endgame.

Super Villains Showed Human Side

The first and the most important scene is the one that sets up the return of Thanos. While Thanos could return in movies or projects involving the multiverse or which are set in the past, we’ve now come across another way as to how Thanos could really be brought back as a central villain once again. This deleted scene involves the Ancient One and the Hulk. We don’t have the scene, but we do have a description.

Avengers: Infinity War Much Stronger Film than Avengers: Endgame

Here the Ancient One explains what happens to the people who were snapped. She told Bruce that these snapped people were wiped out of existence. There is a difference between killing people & wiping ‘em out of existence. She explains that one of these acts is reversible, while the other isn’t. This is why Hulk failed to resurrect Black Widow when he brought everyone back. Black Widow is dead permanently. She wasn’t wiped out of existence.

Heroic Acts of Thanos

Well, this scene would’ve been awesome to see because using this explanation, Thanos could return. Iron Man snapped. He wiped Thanos & his entire army from existence. This was the perfect way a character could have gone out. The perfect close to a story arc. Thanos got what he wanted others to get. It was poetic justice! But as we’ve established, he was just wiped out of existence.

Post Credits Scene of Eternals Set up Marvel’s Mutants

Someone in future, or a follower of his from the alternate reality that he came from could actually collect the Infinity Stones once again and wish for Thanos to exist once again. But there would have to be a good purpose for his return in the future. But obviously, the Thanos that was killed at the hands of Thor cannot return this way. He can only be seen in a flashback sequence.

Mark Ruffalo Revealed Future of Hulk

Other than this scene, Marvel has given some extra footage of Smart Hulk, which was actually revealed at D23 this year. Here’s the alternate Hulk scene that Marvel has revealed:

Executive producer Victoria Alonso said while introducing the clip:

“This is a test never seen before, we haven’t shown it to anyone. This was a proof of concept that we did, because pretty much we had not seen Hulk saying much, except for ‘smash.’ So this was a chance to see how he would behave. This is all Mark.”

Well, the third Endgame scene has been seen earlier this year. It takes place right when Thor passes on the kingship of New Asgard to Valkyrie. Right when Thor is about to end the conversation with Valkyrie, he tries to go for a kiss because that’s how he thought he should end it. Valkyrie obviously shoots him down harder than Captain Marvel shot down Thanos’ ship. This ends the quota of Endgame’s deleted scenes released in the Infinity Saga box.

Thor May Fight The Serpent in Thor: Love And Thunder

Endgame is done now, and it’s time to look forward to Phase 4.

Avengers: Endgame Concept Art Reveals Thanos Fighting Hawkeye & Widow on Vormir

Concept Art Reveals Thanos Fighting Hawkeye & Widow on Vormir:

The day some of us die-hard fans were waiting for has arrived. Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame: The Art of the Movie book has finally been released and we have got a look at the various unused concept arts of Endgame. There’s just so much to take in from this book as it unveils the alternate designs for the cool looking time travel suits of the team, alternate suits of heroes like Captain America, Black Widow, Captain Marvel and so many others. Along with the suits we’ve also got alternate battle sequences and events from the book. Here’s the entire video of the book of concept arts, take a look:

Amongst so many amazing visual concept arts that didn’t make it to the final cut was one battle sequence which was deleted to tell a better story. Yes, this was a common feat with the entire film as almost every great fight happens only in the third act and before that it is all story. But there was at least one more fight and it would have taken place on Vormir, where Clint Barton & Natasha Romanoff went to get the Soul Stone. We got a glimpse of this battle in the BTS videos, and a still of Black Widow.

But earlier, we didn’t know who this battle was supposed to take place against. Through Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame: The Art of the Movie, we now know that it was supposed to be Thanos and the Outriders. Apparently, having captured Nebula from the future would have led Thanos to Vormir as he would have found out about the plans of Avengers, and the closest candidates to be taken down were Clint & Natasha as they were in the same year as Thanos was.

Concept Art Reveals Thanos Fighting Hawkeye & Widow on Vormir

But we don’t really see an end to this battle where Ronin & Black Widow beat Thanos & the Outriders allowing Clint to escape with the Soul Stone after Natasha sacrifices herself. But we can be certain that it was shot. Hopefully, we would see more of it in the coming future.

Avengers: Endgame Writers

While this sequence was shot, there was another alternate sequence which wasn’t shot but was written by the writers. Apparently, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely also tried a segment where instead of Natasha, Clint would have made the jump. The writers previously told the New York Times about it saying:

“McFeely – Jen Underdahl, our visual effects producer, read an outline or draft where Hawkeye goes over. And she goes, ‘Don’t you take this away from her.’ I actually get emotional thinking about it.”

Markus – And it was true, it was him taking the hit for her. It was melodramatic to have him die and not get his family back. And it is only right and proper that she’s done.”

Avengers: Endgame Theory Nebula Gamora

For many fans, the love between Hawkeye & Black Widow wasn’t justified. So there was actually a scene that would have established their love for each other. Co-writer Stephen McFeely spoke to the Los Angeles Times and revealed this scene. He said:

“There was a scene between Natasha and Clint Barton en route to Vormir, so they leave Morag, and then they basically just have a long conversation while the Quinjet is on autopilot. We thought we needed it because it was gonna remind you that they shared a relationship, meaning that they loved each other, which is of course a prerequisite for what’s gonna happen on Vormir. It needed to have that relationship in order for the Soul Stone to be gotten. It turns out you do not need that, because you’ve watched all the movies, and you know they love each other. And they’re great actors, so it takes two lines and not an entire scene.”

Really, the love between Hawkeye and Black Widow was pure. The sacrifice could have worked either way because after the death of Clint’s family, Natasha was the only individual that he loved.

Avengers: Endgame – Thanos Almost Broke Cap’s Shield With His Bare Hands

Thanos Broke Cap’s Shield With Hands:

The final battle of Avengers: Endgame was a massive roller coaster. It dropped from highs to lows within an instant and all we did was watch whatever’s happening on-screen with big jaw drops & loud screams! Right after the heroes Assemble, we feel happy and in the very next instant, Thanos turns that feeling of optimism into a major threat. Iron Man, Captain America & Thor fought him together and it still wasn’t enough. Thor & Iron Man were sidelined easy-peasy!

Strongest Avengers

Captain America made the final stand against Thanos, and the two literally were at their best. When all chips were down, Cap finally lifted Thor’s hammer and he almost ended up defeating Thanos. His every strike was for the head! And all of this really pissed Thanos. Despite Cap having the hammer and being able to summon lightning, Thanos ended up turning the tables. He used his double-edged sword to his greatest advantage and gave us the most terrifying scene of the MCU. This scene was even more terrifying than Thanos stabbing Tony Stark. Thanos struck Captain America’s Shield and was able to break the strongest metal on Earth!

Thanos Broke Cap’s Shield With Hands

The look that you see on Captain America’s face is the look of fear. He did this with his mysterious blade! No one thought that breaking Captain America’s Shield was possible even though it was heavily teased back in Age of Ultron. It happened, but just imagine if did not use that blade to get through Vibranium. Imagine if he did it with his bare hands! Yes, that was a possibility. In a recent video of Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame: The Art of the Movie book, we get to see Thanos actually breaking the shield into pieces with his bare hands. Imagine the look on Captain America’s face if that would have happened. Forget Cap, we would’ve been frightened to hell. Here’s a look at it:

Thanos unleashing his killer Harambe’s hands on the shield would have been jaw-dropping. But that would have made Thanos seem even more powerful than we thought he was. Just this concept art wear Thanos breaks Cap’s shield, there are some other amazing unused concept arts used in the following video. Take a look:

It shows us so many alternate time travel suit designs, Nebula picking up the Infinity Gauntlet just like the comics, team iron man coming together, Doctor Strange wearing Iron Man’s suit are all shown in this video. We would have loved any of these scenes coming true, but it’s okay that it didn’t happen.

One concept art we hoped to see in this book was Thanos throwing Cap’s decapitated head. Endgame writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely revealed that Thanos from 2013 would have first gone on to fight the Avengers in that year and killed them for good. Here’s what they had to say during their Comic-Con panel:

“Stephen McFeely – When Thanos comes back, and he comes through a hole that Nebula has created and all that, we had to decide what the playing field was for that final battle. And one of the ideas was that she opens a time rift, he walks through from 2014 Earth, where he’s already gone and laid waste to the whole place. And so our heroes come out of the dust, they see this figure walking toward them, he crosses from light to dark or whatever, and it’s Thanos, and he tosses something at their feet. And it rolls and lands at Steve’s feet, and it’s his own head.

Christopher Markus – With the helmet still on.”

The Avengers Captain America Thor

Feige did reveal that we might see this sequence in the concept art book, but sadly that did not happen. Anyway, Feige revealed the reason this scene not being in the film to Empire Magazine:

“One of the ideas was, when they finish the time heist, they returned to a world [in 2023] that Thanos had already conquered, that involved all of that, the throne made of bones and skulls and had him tossing, like a bowling ball, Captain America’s severed skull head, still in the cowl, to Captain America. And it was pretty cool, but the logic to get there defeated us. I think it ended up in a set of pages at one point in the script. There might be a piece of concept art somewhere with it.”

Let’s hope that we’d see concept art of this dark scene someday.

Avengers: Endgame – The Captain Marvel & Thanos Battle Was Different Initially

Captain Marvel & Thanos Battle:

Avengers: Endgame served multiple purposes at once. Obviously it was made as a finale event that was used to say goodbye to the heroes we’ve come to love, but it was also used as a threshold to set up new heroes. Many heroes got to have certain amazing moments. Thor called in both of his weapons at once, Iron Man did the snap, Captain America wielded the Hammer, and so on. But there was one other extremely cool moment that Captain Marvel got and not a lot of people have talked about. This moment wasn’t the insane entrance she made into the battle, it was when Thanos head-butted her she gave the most bad-ass look!

People at Marvel are extremely happy with Brie Larson playing Captain Marvel, but her character actually puts writers into a limbo! Because she was too OP for the story, and since others needed more screen time, she was cast out of the story for the most part of it. So it is understandable why she was absent mostly in Endgame. What’s great is that the creatives totally made it count when they brought her on screen!

But there were certain subtleties such as her battle against Thanos, which were written a bit differently initially. Avengers: Endgame editor Jeff Ford spoke to Slash Film and he said that the part of Captain Marvel was expanded in the final battle:

“When Captain Marvel arrives, that was in the script from day one, the way she comes through the ship. We knew she was going to do that, but what we did alter and add and expand later, mostly because of how much we loved what Brie was doing with the character, was her fight with Thanos before he power punches her back.

Anthony [Russo] came up with the great idea — this was a reshoot, by the way, at the last minute — he had the great idea that Thanos pulls the power stone out of the gauntlet, and then he punches her with the raw power stone. That is a fantastic use of that prop and that story point, because that’s what you want. And we had to find a way that he could sideline Captain Marvel for a minute, because she’s so powerful, there’s no way to do it.”

Brie Larson Captain Marvel Thanos

Right after Captain Marvel proved that she is even more powerful Thanos, the Mad Titan turned the game using his smartness and the resources at his disposal. Thanos punching Captain Marvel with the raw power stone was another thrilling moment, so kudos to Anthony Russo for actually adding it in the reshoots.

Next MCU Appearance of Captain Marvel

But then again, even the Endgame editor agrees to the fact that she is just too invincible. So, it would be interesting to see how the next Captain Marvel movie will make her a bit weak for a while. Making her weak will have to be the option that the creatives will have to look at because that is how they’d raise the stakes of the story. If Captain Marvel just keeps blasting through space ships with no lethal opposition, then it won’t be a good story. So, let’s see how the writers and directors make her more relatable to us. We should expect Captain Marvel 2 to release in early 2023. Until then, it’d be phase 4!

Thor May Fight The Serpent in Thor: Love And Thunder

Marvel Comics Finally Admits Knull, Not Thanos, is Their Greatest Villain Ever

Marvel Comics Admits Knull is Greatest Villain:

It is official now. The greatest villain in Marvel Comics, who everyone long thought to be Thanos the Mad Titan, is actually someone else. And the big reveal has surprised everyone. According to official sources from Marvel Comics, the Big Bad Wolf of their universe is Knull – the God of Symbiotes and the first-ever Entity of Darkness and Chaos to have ever lived throughout existence. Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman have built up quite the pace within the Venom comic book arcs. The anti-hero is no longer an alien of mysterious and enigmatic backstory. Venom finally has a place he could claim he originated from. And Knull is the one that created it. To top it off, Marvel Comics astonished us all with this humongous reveal.

Marvel Comics Admits Knull is Greatest Villain

Stegman and Cates revealed through a tiring turn of events that Knull has been orchestrating an end of the universe and planning a scheme to take down all of creation. Once the soul entity to thrive in the void of nothingness before the Big Bang, Knull was against the creation of life and the oncoming of light into the Universe! After the Big Bang happened and the Celestials came into existence, Knull was forced to fight back since the Celestials together had the power to fight Knull on equal terms. Knull created symbiotes to assimilate beings into his cause of ending all life.

Marvel Comics Admits Knull is Greatest Villain

The Celestials used the Symbiotes to create a prison for Knull within the heart of the planet of Klyntar, the home-world of Symbiotes. Trapped since the dawn of time, Knull is only a few days away from creating a rift within his prison and getting out of that cage. In Absolute Carnage, we have already seen Knull almost on the verge of escaping.

Marvel Comics Admits Knull is Greatest Villain

In Silver Surfer: Black penned by Donny Cates, the Silver Surfer travels back in time to an age where the Universe was still in its nascent stages with Darkness still reigning supreme in almost all parts of the cradle of creation. Silver Surfer learns that during this time, Knull was an absolute avatar of Chaos, slaying entire civilizations as part of his crusade against light and life. Knull, with the All-Black Necro Sword in his hands, was powerful enough to fight the Celestials. The handful of sentient civilizations that had managed to spring along in different parts of the universe had their location kept hidden from Knull.

Marvel Comics Admits Knull is Greatest Villain

Ego the Living Planet, one of the most powerful cosmic entities to ever exist, was also a very young force at the time and alone, he too was no match for Knull. The Silver Surfer joins hands with Ego and decides to tap into the life force of all surviving alien civilizations throughout the universe. The resulting energy was able to push Knull away and finally give the losing side a fighting chance at subduing Knull for the better. In a way, the Silver Surfer was extremely crucial in ensuring the Universe always has life init. But what matters most now is that Knull has already initiated plans in motion to escape his cage. And this time, there may not be enough energy left around to form another Spirit Bomb.

How will the Universe deal with the Second Coming of the God of the Symbiotes? Does the Marvel Comic Book Universe even stand a chance?!?! Or is it just the beatings of yet another empty drum???+

Marvel Comics Admits Knull is Greatest Villain

The Last Solo Marvel movie to be released under the Disney banner is Spider-Man: Far From Home. The movie is currently in theatres.

10 Reasons Why Darth Vader Will Always Be a Better Villain Than Thanos

Darth Vader Will Be a Better Villain Than Thanos:

Anakin Skywalker was only a young warrior when fate dealt him such a heavy hand that he turned to the Dark Side and became the most feared Sith the Galaxy far, far away had ever seen. Thanos is a villain that has been around for decades in the Marvel Universe and only became infamous after he was the big bad wolf in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Avengers movies. Many of the new age movie fans claims that Thanos was, is and shall always remain the best villain that Hollywood has to offer. Well we are here to prove those rookies wrong. Believe it or not, Thanos does not even hold a candle to Darth Vader, the one true supervillain and the greatest of them all.

 1. Powers

Darth Vader Will Be a Better Villain Than Thanos

Thanos, in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is capable of incredible strength. He is a great fighter and has access to superior tech and weaponry. But Thanos is far from being in the race to get ahead of Darth Vader. Vader can manipulate the Force to such a level that he can control molecular vibrations. He can even bend the laser emanating from a light sabre using the Force. That’s right. Darth Vader has shown himself of bending light with Force manipulation. Apart from the obvious telekinetic powers and the telepathic abilities granted by the force, Darth Vader has access to some abilities so powerful Thanos could only dream of. The comic book version of the Mad Titan has access to energy manipulation but he too does not match up to Darth Vader.

 2. His Tryst with Pain

Darth Vader Will Be a Better Villain Than Thanos

Darth Vader is in constant pain. And we are not just talking about the external pain inflicted on him by the wounds he got from taking a dive into a pool of lava. Sure he has had plenty of poisonous fumes inside his lungs that literally devastated his respiratory system and forced him to use a cumbersome but portable life support system for the rest of his life but that are not real pain. The real pain Darth Vader has is agony – the constant sense of loss. He lost his mother in front of his eyes. He lost his wife as well as contact with his children. To top it off, he lost him-self after succumbing to the vices of the Dark Side and slowly transitioned into becoming a puppet of Emperor Palpatine. Thanos may have lost as much but the intensity and girth of losses of Vader outweigh Thanos’.

 3. Constant Struggle with Destiny

Darth Vader Will Be a Better Villain Than Thanos

Ever since he was a kid, Vader has been termed the Chosen One. The Prophecy claims that Anakin Skywalker will be the one that brings back order to the Force and ushers in an age of peace and harmony. Anakin has only tried to stand true to the huge expectations that rested on his shoulders. After he became Vader, he only wished to out-run his destiny. Killing millions while he was in power, Darth Vader became the Dark Messiah. But his destiny would always catch up to him somehow. In the end, he decided to concede and destroyed the Death Star, putting an end to the hands of fate pulling his strings and completing the prophecy. Thanos has no such deep connection to Fate. All he craves for is his quest to bring eternal balance to the universe.

 4. Is upgradeable

Darth Vader Will Be a Better Villain Than Thanos

Now we move on to the technical aspects. Thanos, for all his wit and intellect, is still flesh and bones. He may be strong but he has a limit. Darth Vader is basically just a torso attached to cybernetic limbs. He can easily upgrade him-self if he wants to. Some Dark Horse Comics even mention that Darth Vader prefers Jedi Designed Prosthetic body parts. Those prosthetics are specially designed by the order to augment a Force sensitive warrior’s fighting abilities in the battle-field. Vader is basically a cyborg who can replace his severed and damaged limbs with new ones. Thanos can never do that.

 5. He knows magic

Darth Vader Will Be a Better Villain Than Thanos

Many do not know this but the Sith have a sect of users that specialise in a specific form of discipline that is kept a secret from most. It is called Sith Alchemy. Many parts of the armour that Darth Vader wears is actually made out of Dark Force magic. The metals are products of Sith Alchemy and they are designed and forged by none other than Darth Vader itself. This revelation was brought into the limelight by Jedi vs. Sith: The Essential Guide to the Force. The Mad Titan is a man of science. So is Darth Vader. But the fact that Vader is open to learning magic as part of his skill-sets says a lot about how creative and open-minded he is to learn new tricks to store up his sleeve.

 6. Better Character Development

Darth Vader Will Be a Better Villain Than Thanos

Darth Vader has had a much better crest and trough when it comes to Character Development than Thanos. Vader’s villainy is only a part of his entire character. He is a father, a rival, a mentor, a student, as well as a messiah and prophet. He has had many roles and every time he has come out with either flying colours or as the polar opposite of what was intended. Thanos has only been a villain most of his life. He has only known the joy of giving pain to others and has had very little character development even in the comic books up until a few years ago.

 7. Origin Story

Darth Vader Will Be a Better Villain Than Thanos

Darth Vader’s Origin Story will literally bring tears to your eyes. The guy has endured so much and in so little time. Born on a desolate planet where he lived a life fending from hand to mouth, Anakin grew to become a Jedi Padawan and soon was brought into the epicentre of the Jedi-Sith rivalry.  His origin story is a typical rags-to-riches story but told from a grander and cosmically defying perspective. Thanos’ origin story is very bland. A hateful outcast born in an alien planet does not make so much of an impact as Darth Vader’s story does.

 8. Has more Stamina and Endurance

Darth Vader Will Be a Better Villain Than Thanos

Now, this is a fact many may not have known. Darth Vader literally cannot sleep. His body chemistry has completely changed after he underwent the surgical procedures that turned him into a walking ventilator shaft. Not only that but also the fact that Darth Vader feels no pain. His cybernetic enhancements include a neurotoxin injector that regularly doses his body with vials of highly toxic poisons that renders his pain trigger system dysfunctional. The side-effect of that is that Vader feels almost no pain when he is inflicted with injury or wounds.

 9. Is literally a God

Darth Vader Will Be a Better Villain Than Thanos

In the comic books, after Anakin Skywalker died protecting the Galaxy from Darth Sidious and the Death Star, Skywalker appears again in another issue. This time, Anakin Skywalker is a God. The Force has finally taken Darth Vader into its wings and his consciousness is now one with the very energy that binds all life in the Galaxy. As a being born out of the Force and now made up of it, Anakin can travel great distances in a matter of milliseconds and perform godlike feats like crushing a planet into a pulp by just willing things to happen. Unlike Thanos who needs an Infinity Gauntlet to achieve that feat, Darth Vader has already achieved that level by himself.

 10. Never likes working from the shadows

Darth Vader Will Be a Better Villain Than Thanos

Thanos has always preferred working from the dark underbelly of the universe. He does not like showing his face to everyone and reveals his master plan until all the cards of his opponents are on the table. But that is not how Darth Vader rolls. Darth Vader never prefers the backdoor. He would always choose the front door to burst in and go up guns blazing. And that is what makes Vader an even cooler Villain than Thanos. Because unlike Thanos, Vader shows that he is ready to take on anyone and everyone if need be to do his bidding.

10 Absolutely Heroic Acts of Thanos to Make You Think He is Actually a Superhero

Heroic Acts of Thanos:

The Mad Titan is one of the strongest supervillains to ever exist in the Marvel Comic Book Universe. With his strength, wit, and intellect, Thanos is an absolute force of nature. More often than not, it takes the combined strength of the entire array of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes to fight the Mad Titan to a standstill. As the literal incarnation of evil, Thanos has done some pretty despicable stuff. There are times though when his acts make us question his alignment. Whether he is truly a supervillain at heart or deep down, he just wants to help?? Sometimes Thanos uses his powers to help those he needs, indicating that there is actually a silver lining to that dark thundercloud and Thanos is actually a Superhero.

 1. Helped save an innocent woman possessed by Death

Heroic Acts of Thanos

Everyone knows that Thanos has a thing for Lady Death – the embodiment of entropy and the end in the Marvel Universe. Ever since he was a teenager, Thanos’ tryst with Lady Death has only grown stronger. In one story arc, Lady Death decided to possess Marlo Jones, the wife of Rick Jones, a very popular character from the Hulk comic books. Thanos did not just save Marlo Jones but ensured Death does not possess any other being. No one was more grateful to Thanos than Marlo Jones’ Husband Rock Jones. But there could have been ulterior motifs of Thanos behind this. Nonetheless, it was a noble act of kindness.

 2. He saved Gamora from a life of destitute poverty

Heroic Acts of Thanos

Gamora belonged to a planet that was constantly under threat by pirates and invaders who came looking for easy targets for the inter-galactic slave trade. As a matter of fact, in the comics, we see that Gamora’s race has been under constant oppression by another race of violent creatures called the Badoon. The Badoon had all but destroyed Gamora’s planet and the population was living under extreme poverty, the war having leeched out the last of their resources. Thanos, when he attacked her planet, did not just adopt Gamora, but gave her a chance at a new life. Gamora may have grown to hate her father for what he did to her but Thanos had only the best of intentions at heart for his daughter.

 3. Defeated Magus

Heroic Acts of Thanos

Would you believe us if we said that there is actually a being in the universe that even Thanos is scared of? A person once used the Infinity Gems to separate his body into two beings, one pure and noble now known as the cosmic superhero Adam Warlock while the other, who was composed of pure malice and evil, came to be known as Magus. Magus’ goals were also pretty megalomaniacal. Unlike Thanos, he did not just want to destroy half of the universe. Magus intended to recreate the universe in his image by destroying the current fabric of reality itself. That would mean the death of the current universe and billions and trillions of innocent life-forms as we know it. Thanos helped the heroes stop Magus from achieving this objective.

 4. He once became the leader of the Avengers

Heroic Acts of Thanos

Thanos is always a villain. He could never ever even think of going to the light side of the Force. Isn’t it?!?! Wrong!!! There is actually an alternate universe where he found out that there is a version of Thanos in that universe who went on to become the leader of the Avengers and was a well-respected member of the superhero community who was idolized by the masses. But Thanos was not angry at this universe’s Avenger Thanos for taking a different route. Instead, he was actually jealous of him. This version of Thanos had achieved what the original Thanos never could – the respect of everyone!

 5. Helped stop Nebula

Heroic Acts of Thanos

During the Infinity Gauntlet Saga, Nebula managed to succeed in getting his hands on the Gauntlet, stealing it from Thanos. Granted the Mad Titan has done some pretty terrible stuff to Nebula. He has stripped her of all her organs, replaced her with bionic parts and basically used her as a guinea pig to test out his latest technologies. It was bound to happen that one day or another, Nebula decides to pay back Thanos in kind. In the Infinity Gauntlet Story arc, Nebula sees her chance to grab the Gauntlet and she does. But the heroes realize that Nebula could be worse than Thanos with the Gauntlet so Thanos and the Avengers join hands to stop her. They succeed.

 6. Saved the Whole Universe

Heroic Acts of Thanos

Every Universe requires the concept of entropy and death. Without it, there can be no balance of things and things will only get worse. When Death lost all meaning in one alternate universe in the Marvel Multi-Verse, it became the Cancer-Verse, a desolate place where every person is corrupted and keeps on living. The Mainstream Marvel Universe also faced the possibility of becoming pretty much like the cancer-verse. When Deadpool and Thanos, who both longed for the love of Lady Death, locked heads to decide the victor who gets to hold hands with Lady Death, Eternity arrives and captures Death. Thanos and Deadpool then join hands to save Lady Death from Eternity’s grasp. Death is freed and the Universe is saved.

 7. Stopped Thor from destroying his own home

Heroic Acts of Thanos

In one issue, Thor nearly lost his cool and went on into a full-on berserker rage mode. Everything and anything in his path was utterly destroyed. Thor did not care for a thing in the world. His rampage was going to destroy Asgard. The Silver Surfer tried to stop him but even the Power Cosmic could not push back the Asgardian God of Thunder in a bad mood. The Surfer decided to summon the help of well-known foe that had defeated Thor in the past in one on one fights. Thanos happily accepted the offer of fighting Thor and defeated him in a gruesome battle to the death. Thor finally calmed down after getting a royal beat down at the hands of Thanos.

 8. Helped kill Annihilus

Heroic Acts of Thanos

Annihilus was actually an insect-based non-sentient organism that was exposed to the energies of the cosmic rod and witnessed accelerated evolution. Annihilus soon developed a plan to destroy the entire universe by stealing the entirety of the Power Cosmic and using it to reshape the continuum in his image. He listed the help of Thanos in doing so and Thanos happily agreed to give him a hand. It would later be revealed that Thanos only joined Annihilus’ quest so that he could keep an eye on him and the moment he saw a chance, he betrayed him and resurrected Galactus, who went on to Kill Annihilus before his universe destroying master plan could be enacted.

 9. Saved the Universe – AGAIN!!!

Heroic Acts of Thanos

In Marvel’s The End, an ancient Egyptian Pharaoh who was abducted by a race of beings called the Celestial Order, returns to Earth and declares that he is the new ruler of the Planet. In his possession is the power of the heart of the Universe, the first-ever energy source to ever exist and a reservoir of near-limitless amounts of energy. Akhenaten is now a living God and he can transform reality the way he wants to. Thanos and a host of other superheroes including the Silver Surfer, Namor and Doctor Strange travel to the far ends of the Earth and recover the Heart of the Universe.

Heroic Acts of Thanos

Thanos reveals his plan is to wipe out the whole cradle of creation. Adam Warlock, who had just returned from another universe at the time, witnessed the end of his home universe. But before he could do anything, Thanos reveals his master plan – he only destroyed the current universe so that he could recreate it exactly as it was, without the flaws. Thanos dies in the process and no one but Warlock ever knows about the great sacrifice he just made.

 10. Saved an entire alternate universe from eternal damnation

Heroic Acts of Thanos

Remember how we talked about the Cancer-Verse a few entries ago? It is an alternate universe where Death has lost all meaning. No living being ever dies and as a result, just keeps on living a damned life within an immortal husk of a body. That is basically the story of every sentient being in the cancer-verse. And as a result, the entire plane of reality in the cancer verse is cursed. Thanos tried to mend that. In order to impress Lady Death, he took it upon himself to venture into the Cancer-Verse and bring back death into this universe. He succeeded.

Eternals Plot Details Revealed. Thanos’ Brother May Have Been Cast

Eternals Details Revealed. Thanos’ Brother Have Been Cast:

Eternals is the most anticipated Marvel movie of 2020, and it is bringing a ton of characters for us to enjoy. The greatest part about this film is that we’ve got absolutely no clue about what we can expect from this film. Yes, there’s gonna be plenty of action since almost every individual is a super-powered being. The whole set up is going to be quite colorful so, we could expect a blend of Guardians of the Galaxy and Thor: Ragnarok. Since Thanos himself was an Eternal, we could expect to see his younger self. Moreover, we might actually see his family as well.

Spoilers may follow. But it probably won’t matter if you read them.

Since there are so many characters in the film, Thanos and his family might not play a huge part in the movie. It’d probably be about them being present, and that’d be it. But there is a tiny possibility that, instead of seeing more of young Thanos, we may actually get to see his brother Eros play a supporting role in the film.

Eternals Details Revealed. Thanos’ Brother Have Been Cast

According to a Marvel leak brought forward by The Cosmic Wonder, Eros in Eternals will be played by Adam Scott. His casting wasn’t revealed at Comic Con or D23. But it is entirely possible that Marvel could have kept things as a surprise. If he is indeed going to play the brother of the big purple tyrant of the present times, then he’d need to bulk up a little. Another actor that the leak reveals to have a role in the film is Brendan Gleeson.

Eternals Details Revealed. Thanos’ Brother Have Been Cast

For those who don’t recognize him, Gleeson’s most infamous role has been playing Mad Eye in the Harry Potter franchise. He is said to be playing Zuras in the film. Zuras is Thena’s (Angelina Jolie) father and the uncle of Thanos. He is the first one to form the Uni-Mind and is the leader of the Eternals of Earth. Similar to him is Ikaris (Richard Madden) who is another leader of the Eternals and generally more powerful.

Eternals Details Revealed. Thanos’ Brother Have Been Cast

Ikaris and Sersi (Gemma Chan) were romantically involved in the comics. But, the aforementioned leak suggests that the film will actually explore a relationship between Sersi and Dane Whitman aka Black Knight (Kit Harrington aka Jon Snow). All these new rumors are pretty confusing as we already know that an openly gay lead is going to be a part of the film. At the time of Richard Madden’s casting as Ikaris, it was being said that he’d be a love interest of Angelina Jolie’s Thena. But recent reports have suggested that Ikaris will be the gay character who would also be married and have a family.

Eternals Details Revealed. Thanos’ Brother Have Been Cast

We’ll have to wait and see what’s true and what’s not. At this point of time, everything that hasn’t officially be confirmed should be taken as a pinch of salt. Here’s what Kevin Feige said of the Eternals in an interview last year:

“You’re reaction about not being familiar with the Eternals is perfect, because most people weren’t familiar with Guardians [of the Galaxy] and believe it or not there were people that were not familiar with Avengers or with Iron Man. So for us, its finding great stories whether people have heard of them or not and bring them to the big screen in as amazing a way as we can.”

Eternals Details Revealed. Thanos’ Brother Have Been Cast

Disney+ Loki Series Plot Could Make Him an Even Bigger Villain Than Thanos

Disney+ Loki Series Make Him Bigger Villain Than Thanos:

The Loki series on Disney+ might be the final Loki appearance in the MCU. Yes, the series could obviously lead him to rejoin his brother Thor on his next Thunderous Love adventure. But since Phase 4 is almost entirely about embracing the new, and giving the old ones a great exit, it doesn’t seem likely that this alternate reality Loki would go any further than his own TV series. The real Loki died a hero in Infinity War, and we’ve got this villain Loki who now will be on his own quest to cause even more mischief.

Disney+ Loki Series Make Him Bigger Villain Than Thanos

All four of the upcoming live-action Disney+ MCU series till 2021 are about allowing the supporting characters an opportunity to establish themselves properly. Loki probably is everyone’s most favorite character in the MCU. But his role was dialed down a bit after the first Avengers movie, as the next 2 Thor movies obviously focused more on Thor. Talking about The Avengers, that’s when Loki was at his very best and the fans truly fell in love with him. And very smartly, Marvel is giving that villainous version of Loki 6 episodes to spend on his own TV show, doing whatever he wants!

Disney+ Loki Series Make Him Bigger Villain Than Thanos

So far, the plot rumors of the show have suggested that Loki will change historic events. He escaped with the Tesseract and could now be onto all sorts of nefarious things. But, what would be his Endgame? Knowing Loki, we know that his own self-interest always comes first [until his dying sacrifice to save Thor]. So with the Tesseract at his disposal, he could either continue working for Thanos, or he could achieve his own personal goal. He could actually go after all 6 Infinity Stones himself.

Disney+ Loki Series Make Him Bigger Villain Than Thanos

Thanos gave him the scepter which had the Mind Stone in it. The stone extended Loki’s desire to rule and sort of corrupted him a bit. Technically, he became the first one to get his hand on two Infinity Stones. It wasn’t Thanos who held two Infinity Stones for the first time. With the Scepter and the Tesseract, it was Loki instead. So, this does give us the idea of what Loki might do on his show. His end goal has to be conquering Earth because that is what he was after during The Avengers. But ultimately, he also seeks to become the most powerful deity in the MCU. He seeks power over Thor and Odin. Knowing what Thanos is after, Loki himself could make Thanos’ quest his own.

Disney+ Loki Series Make Him Bigger Villain Than Thanos

Yes he did lose the Scepter, but he is said to change historic events using the Tesseract. But last we heard, The Space Stone only has the ability to transfer one’s Physical self from 1 place to another. It cannot allow Time Travel. There’s a rumor which suggests that the Space Stone can actually access the Quantum Realm, & thus the Time Vortexes. But that would diminish the extreme importance of the Pym Particles. Moreover, a Quantum Realm suit will also be essential.

Disney+ Loki Series Make Him Bigger Villain Than Thanos

So the question that stands is, how exactly does Loki manage to travel through time? He couldn’t even go after the Time Stone in the same timeline because Bruce Banner already takes it away. Although, Captain America may have put the stone back in the possession of the Ancient One, so, technically Loki could use fight the Sorcerer Supreme for the Time Stone. But, how could he even know where the Time Stone is.

Disney+ Loki Series Make Him Bigger Villain Than Thanos

This theory comes from News Rockers and they claim that no one knows where Loki went after picking up the Tesseract. He could have ended up in the same alley where Cap, Tony & Ant-Man were discussing their failure to retrieve the Tesseract. He could have heard them bickering about Pym Particles, and thus he’d know that the future Avengers actually figure out Time Travel. The Avengers went back to the 70s. Loki could have followed them along somehow.

Disney+ Loki Series Make Him Bigger Villain Than ThanosDisney+ Loki Series Make Him Bigger Villain Than Thanos

Honestly, this extra behind Howard Stark’s car does have a resemblance to Tom Hiddleston’s Loki. So What if? Well, it’s too far of a stretch. What Loki could do differently is could sneak in Hank Pym’s
lab in 2012. He could get 100s of Pym Particles. With the Tesseract, his own magic, he could do anything he wants! As there are 6 episodes on the show, all of them could each be about getting his hands on one Infinity Stone. Moreover, he could use the Gauntlet in Odin’s Vault for the real Infinity Stones. This would be such a nice parody of Thanos’ serious quest for stones.

Disney+ Loki Series Make Him Bigger Villain Than Thanos

With all the Infinity Stones, Loki could become the most powerful individual in the Galaxy. He could even wipe out Thanos if he tries to apprehend the God of Mischief. Loki could triumph over the Universe, and for once, everyone would actually support him. That’s because this series itself is a big “What if…?” episode happening in live-action! We’ll have to wait and see whether any of the aforementioned things would come true or not.

Disney+ Loki Series Make Him Bigger Villain Than Thanos

Marvel’s future is huge and there’s a lot that could happen. But until further news updates, here’s how the Phase 4 slate looks for now –

Black Widow on May 1, 2020, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier in Fall 2020, The Eternals on November 6, 2020, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on February 12, 2021, WandaVision in Spring 2021, Loki in Spring 2021, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on May 7, 2021, What If? In Summer 2021, Hawkeye in Fall 2021, and Thor: Love and Thunder on November 5, 2021. Following these are Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk. Black Panther 2 is also scheduled for May 6, 2022.

MCU Theory – Loki Suggested Thanos to Snap & Achieve His Goal

Loki Suggested Thanos to Snap & Achieve His Goal:

Thanos and Loki are 2 of the greatest MCU villains till date. Killmonger was number 3, but since his appearance was limited, he doesn’t supersede these two in any way. Despite us loving these 2 villains so much, there are certain aspects story-wise which still stand to be unclear. For instance, how did Loki meet Thanos and convince him to give him the scepter? Perhaps the Loki series may give us a flashback upon this and bring Thanos back, but we actually have a theory which tells us that Loki was the one who gave Thanos the idea of using the Infinity Gauntlet to snap.

Loki Suggested Thanos to Snap & Achieve His Goal

Reddit user u/Engineering_123 describes what would have happened when Loki met Thanos. Here’s a bit of his theory:

“One day the frozen blue Prince of Asgard crash lands on his ship. Loki notices the mind stone. He was probably trying to trick Thanos to get the scepter and jump back to Asgard to stab Thor again. He must have pointed out that Thanos was doing nothing in the overall scheme of universal population density. He must have argued that if Thanos helped Loki he could be King of Asgard and help Thanos in his universal hunger prevention initiative. Loki might have talked about how much resources and knowledge Asgard had and how it had a prototype glove in the basement that could hold not one but all your six infinity stones and grant you a power of a God.”

Loki Suggested Thanos to Snap & Achieve His Goal

Asgard did have a fake prototype Gauntlet, and Odin must have got it made for a reason. Since Odin was in possession of the Space Stone back in the past, he must have figured out the science of using all the Infinity Stones through the Gauntlet. Through his adopted father, Loki also learned the truth about the Infinity Stones and how they could be used. Hence, he told Thanos a way to use all the Infinity Stones and accomplish his goal.

Loki Suggested Thanos to Snap & Achieve His Goal

The reddit user further suggests that Thanos used the scepter upon Loki to gain more info. A little more backstory upon Thanos would have been extremely nice. The Russos did have a plan to show us that during Infinity War, but since about 30 minutes of footage was removed from the film, that backstory we were supposed to get never came.

Loki Suggested Thanos to Snap & Achieve His Goal

Later, Marvel released a novel called Thanos: Titan Consumed, which was written by Barry Laga. told us the history of Thanos. He was banished from Titan as he suggested the idea of killing half of the people randomly to survive. Later, the Titans died a painful death as Thanos had previously predicted.

Loki Suggested Thanos to Snap & Achieve His Goal

After acquiring the Chitauri army, Thanos began raiding planets to kill half the population. But he realized that his way was too slow, and probably impossible to achieve since there were just so many planets in the galaxy. So, he decided to go to the edge of the galaxy and seek Lorespeaker. The Lorespeaker told Thanos that there are 6 Infinity Stones that exist in the Galaxy – Mind, Time, Space, Soul, Reality & Power. He told Thanos everything he knew about the stones. That’s where Thanos got the idea of using them, and he got the Mind Stone from the Lorespeaker himself.

Loki Suggested Thanos to Snap & Achieve His Goal

But, the novel still doesn’t tell us how Thanos came to the realization of using the Infinity Gauntlet. That’s where the aforementioned theory comes into play. Loki telling Thanos about the Infinity Gauntlet does make sense. He could have even given Thanos the useful intel about Nidavellir. Thanos then got his blade made from the legendary planet, and later, the Gauntlet.

Loki Suggested Thanos to Snap & Achieve His Goal

What this theory ultimately states is that Loki was the cause of all the mayhem the Snap brought to the Universe. Loki was the reason Tony Stark died. Well, this is a far stretch, but it still makes sense if you think about it. So, Loki really was the one true villain of the MCU. And we’re gonna get to see more of that amazing Villain Loki!

Loki Series Theory – Josh Brolin Will Reprise His Role as Thanos

All of the upcoming series on Disney+ are going to be pretty unique. For the first time Marvel is getting to do what they never could because of the Box Office viability of their characters. Not every character could have produced a profitable outing at the theatres, but a show on a streaming service would allow Marvel to take a step ahead with their creative abilities. Every new show is going to be unique & different from each other, and the films. The one thing that will be common in all of them is that multiple MCU characters will be reprising their roles while new characters also step in. The Loki series is the only one that takes place out of the streamlined continuity. That gives the show even more reason to bring back various MCU characters while focusing on Loki’s own adventures.

So far from what we know, we’d be seeing the villain Loki that everyone loves. The show will take off in an alternate timeline right after Loki escaped with the Tesseract during Avengers: Endgame’s time heist. Kate Herron will direct the series and Rick and Morty’s Michael Waldron will be the showrunner. The show will have 6 episodes. Each of them will be almost an hour long and will probably be available to stream on a weekly basis.

Since it will be set in an alternate timeline, anything is possible. Rumor has it that Loki will be changing events throughout history. He has the Tesseract which he would use to travel anywhere. But, we’re not sure how Loki will travel through time to change other historic events. But it is Marvel and anything is possible. After stealing the Tesseract, Loki could go for the Mind Stone because Thanos probably did inform him of the stone being on Earth. This could lead to a mystical battle with the Sorcerer Supreme, but let’s not jump to conclusions. Loki’s endgame in the series has to be about conquering Earth. Thanos sent him to collect the Space Stone and rule over the planet, and sitting on a throne does seem to be his favorite thing.

Avengers: Endgame Infinity Stones MCU

Talking about Thanos, he could very well make his way back into this series. After all, Loki had to acquire the Infinity Stone and he did that (even though he lost the mind stone). Thanos did have some kind of Infinity Stone tracking device in Infinity War because that’s probably how he knew the location of every stone. So, we assume that he may have that device in this series as well. Or perhaps he does somehow find out about Loki having the space stone because of the events that Loki changes in the movie.

Avengers: Infinity War Thanos Loki
Loki Series Theory: Thanos Appearance

That brings us to the conclusion that Thanos could pursue Loki to acquire the space stone during this series, which ultimately means that Josh Brolin’s quota of Marvel movie appearances isn’t done yet. He could return for sure, and people would definitely love it if he does. Another angle to consider is that Loki himself could take the space stone to Thanos to show his “undying fidelity.” But knowing the fact that Loki lost the mind stone, and always has his own self-interest in whatever he does, we may not see this angle being showcased. Then again, we don’t know anything for sure. All we can do is imagine, and bring forward our own ideas as to what could happen.

Let’s see what happens. Till then, here’s how the Phase 4 slate looks like now – Black Widow on May 1, 2020, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier in Fall 2020, The Eternals on November 6, 2020, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on February 12, 2021, WandaVision in Spring 2021, Loki in Spring 2021, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on May 7, 2021, What If? In Summer 2021, Hawkeye in Fall 2021, and Thor: Love and Thunder on November 5, 2021. Following these are Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight and She-Hulk. We bet that Harrington will play Moon Knight! Black Panther 2 will release on May 6, 2022.

Avengers: Infinity War – Thanos May Have Spared 3 Heroes from the Snap

Many would agree that Avengers: Infinity War was actually a better film overall as compared to Avengers: Endgame. That’s because it had a much solid plot than Endgame did. But both of those films had one thing in common, and that is a very astounding end to the story. Endgame left us with satisfaction, but Infinity War ended with a strong gut punch! Thanos snapped half the population of the entire Universe out of existence. He wanted everyone to go out with fair judgment of the Infinity Stones, and that’s why he didn’t kill anyone except for the necessary individuals.

Avengers: Endgame Theory Thor Odin Force

But a new theory suggests that among the survivors in the Universe, Thanos actually spared 3 lives that he promised he would. Endgame showed us that the person who snaps could actually have any wish fulfilled while snapping (except bring back the Soul Stone sacrifice). Hulk wished to restore all the lives that Thanos took and Tony wished for every follower of Thanos to get disintegrated. So Screen Rant suggests that during his snap, Thanos thought to kill half the population at random except for Tony Stark, Thor, and Nebula.

Avengers: Endgame Theory Nebula Gamora

Thanos was about to kill off Thor right in the beginning of the film but Loki prevented his death. He wanted Thanos to spare Thor’s life in exchange of the Tesseract. So, Thanos being a man of his word went back without killing Thor. The same happened later in the film when Thanos was threatening to kill Nebula for the location of the Soul Stone. Gamora agreed to give it if Thanos stopped. And then the final promise Thanos made was to leave Tony Stark alive in exchange for the Time Stone.

Avengers: Endgame Thanos Tony Stark

Infinity War did establish Thanos as a noble warrior, but this theory may be disproven with Endgame’s Thanos. There was nothing noble in the way Thanos fought in Endgame. He was about to unleash an entire army on Captain America, Thor & Iron Man. Then, he rained fire on the Avengers and his own army as well. So, when it comes to saving his own life, Thanos isn’t noble. We could believe that Thanos would not have changed much in 4 years. So, he would not have left everyone alive. Rather, he would have left them for judgment, and all three of those turned out to be lucky.

Kevin Feige Scarlet Witch Thanos

Still, Thanos is the best villain MCU could have ever had and the reason for that has been illustrated in the Art book. Avengers: Infinity War — The Art of the Movie explains that Thanos exactly knew how to use the Infinity Stones. The book wrote:

“They’ve [Infinity Stones] been misused by people who didn’t understand their true power. And now that the real master of them, Thanos, has shown up we can see what they actually do,” Markus said. “The problem is, as you can imagine, as you gain control over these things, your story just goes haywire because why are there any stakes for the man who can control time, space, reality, your mind, your soul and power? He can reset as many times as it’ll take. So you have to build in a lot of bumps in the road or maybe keep one stone away from him for long enough in order for the thing to have any dramatic structure at all.”

Here’s what Kevin Feige had to say about the greatness of the Mad Titan:

“Thanos has been lurking in the shadows with a desire to obtain these Infinity Stones, which has played a big part in our other films. We’ve introduced the Tesseract, revealed to be the Space Stone; the Mind Stone, which came out of Loki’s scepter and then went into Vision’s forehead; and the Time Stone: the Eye of Agamotto that Doctor Strange wears is an Infinity Stone itself! And of course the Guardians dealt with the Power Stone.

So these storytelling devices that we’ve seeded into every film will continue to play a part and come together. We’ve been teasing this for six years. That’s a long time to tease something cinematically before paying it off. Thanos has to be the greatest villain in our movies.”

Avengers: Endgame Writers Reveal a Thanos Origin Deleted Scene

Thanos Origin Deleted Scene:

Every other day we just keep finding out about more and more scenes that could have been a part of Avengers: Endgame & Infinity War. It’s either the writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, or the directors Joe & Anthony Russo, or perhaps Kevin Feige himself who keep revealing alternate scenes. The one popular segment that we hear about was back in Infinity War which involved Thanos’ backstory.

The Eternals MCU

After Endgame came out, we got to know that there was 10 minutes of backstory for Thanos which was never shot, but apparently, there were concept arts for it. Joe Russo told Comicbook.com:

“Of course. We did a lot of drafts of Infinity War that involved Thanos’s backstory. We even had a draft where you saw ten minutes of his backstory. You saw him as a child, you saw him try to convince his planet that it was doomed and recommend that they randomly kill half the population to save the planet. He gets sent to a prison off-planet and eventually watches the planet destroy itself….It is a whole other film, but sometimes that’s the value in a story room, of writing that draft in the script because you go ‘alright, at least I have that in my brain now. And I understand that and I can pitch it to Brolin, and he can hear that intimate level of detail so we all know what his story is and how he feels about his past. He’s a very tortured character who’s sociopathic, but ultimately it is benevolent sociopathy.”

Disney Avengers: Infinity War Avengers: Endgame
Thanos Origin Deleted Scene

Now, the writers of the film have also come out to tell us about this scene that would have told us the origin of Thanos. They spoke to Backstory Magazine:

“Markus – We wrote some scenes, sort of flashbacky scenes of a young Thanos on Titan trying to make his case.

McFeely – [Thanos then appealed to his senate to try and pass his motion of Genocide]

Markus – And part of the reason it went away is it got a little too Jor-El on Krypton making his case, you know?

McFeely – And it’s a scene that’s only doing one thing. What we settled on were all those scenes that explained any history he had with Gamora. Those are doing more than one thing, because they’re highlighting his relationship with the daughter he’s going to have to sacrifice.”

Avengers: Endgame Thanos

It’s great to know that we would have seen a young Thanos trying to tell the senate that the planet could only survive if they agree to kill half the people at random. Titan was obviously suffering with a shortage of resources, and with Thanos’ idea, the planet could have survived. But Thanos was obviously banished and we know the rest.

The Eternals Thanos
Thanos Origin Deleted Scene

What’s great is that we could get a similar version of this scene in the upcoming movie Eternals. A recent concept art of young Thanos and his parents surfaced and it did tease the fact that Thanos could appear in the second movie of 2020. For those who don’t know, Thanos, his brother, and his parents are all Eternals. Thanos just looks different as he’s got the deviant gene. But it’d be pretty cool to see a young Thanos in Eternals. So, let’s see what happens.

Strongest Avengers

Here’s How Iron Man Got the Infinity Stones Back From Thanos

Avengers: Endgame commentary track has clarified so many things that were a partial or a complete mystery till now. The writers & directors have cleared any confusion about time travel, and they’ve also given us certain alternate scenes that were scrapped before arriving at the final story. The film was full of massive and extremely satisfying moments. The end involving Thanos and Iron Man was just the best way to conclude things. It was a heavy and emotional moment that foreshadowed Iron Man’s first film in the MCU. He started it all, and he brought us to an end.

Iron Man Endgame snap Marvel

The writers and directors couldn’t have given us a better ending. Thanos thought that he was going to have the last laugh, but not he snapped a blank. Iron Man sneaked away with the Infinity Stones and gave the most iconic line before turning it all to dust! He really is Iron Man. What’s crazy is that people were actually left wondering how he magically got the Infinity Stones out from Thanos’ Gauntlet. Well, it was through the ability of his nanotech suit.

Robert Downey Jr. Interview

The writers and directors revealed on the audio commentary track that:

“Joe Russo: …aaaaand nanotech.

Stephen McFeely: That’s right if it’s unclear how he got them, it’s two similar gloves talking to each other in this nanotech-y way.

Joe Russo: And the suit is keeping him alive here.

McFeely: “Well, as the power’s coursing through him, he doesn’t have a lot of time.”

Joe Russo: But when he snaps those fingers…

Christopher Markus: It’s too much.”

Comicbook.com further went on to clarify how the creatives have explained two major aspects that had people confused. The first is how Iron Man got the Infinity Stones, and the second is how he survived having wielded them. They wrote:

  • Because the “Iron Gauntlet” that Thanos was wearing is made of the same nanotech as Tony Armor, Iron Man was able to simple manipulate the nanobytes in both gauntlets to shift the Infinity Stones over to his hand, instead of Thanos’.

  • It was reiterated throughout the Infinity Saga that mere mortals cannot survive contact with an Infinity Stone – let alone wield all of them. It’s only because of the advanced tech in the Iron Man armor that Tony has the brief amount of time he does in order to achieve his Snap. However, like any mortal, the effort of using the Infinity Gauntlet is all too fatal, with or without a protective suit of armor.

The final snap created a lot of buzz all over the world. That moment is actually what made the movie so good and helped it gross past Avatar to become the biggest movie of all time. It’s actually crazy that this moment would have been entirely different earlier. Initially Tony Stark wouldn’t have said anything while he snapped his fingers. The “I am Iron Man” line was actually one of those last-minute additions into the film.

Tom Holland Robert Downey Jr.

Here’s how the entire moment came to be what it was:

“Joe Russo Tony used to not say anything in that moment. And we were in the editing room going, ‘He has to say something. This a character who has lived and died by quips.’ And we just couldn’t, we tried a million different last lines. Thanos was saying ‘I am inevitable.’ And our editor Jeff Ford, who’s been with us all four movies and is an amazing storyteller, said ‘Why don’t we just go full circle with it and say I am Iron Man.’ And we’re like, ‘Get the cameras! We have to shoot this tomorrow.'”

Avengers: Endgame Directors Robert Downey Jr. Chris Evans

Every Marvel fan would agree that there’s nothing more iconic than this one come back that Robert Downey Jr. made. It was so simple and perfect, yet the creatives didn’t really have it in their initial plans. We’re glad that thing went the way they did. No one really thought that Marvel could kill their poster boy. But they subverted our expectations and did what no one really expected.

Captain America Almost Defeated Thanos Alone in Avengers: Endgame

Avengers: Endgame is almost done from the theatres now. But being the biggest movie of all time, it has had a huge impact upon people’s lives. It was full of memorable moments as the Avengers revisited some old MCU films, got closure from the 70s, assembled heroes from Earth and the cosmos, and gave us the epic ending to it all. But among all these satisfying scenes, the one that stood out as the best bit of Endgame was Captain America worthiness and the battle against Thanos.

best moments infinity war trailer

Captain America didn’t really get a one on one against Thanos in Infinity War and people were mad that the movie lacked screen time for Steve Rogers as compared to Thor and Iron Man. The Russos promised that Avengers: Endgame will make up for that and boy are they the men of their word! We got to see what you may argue to be the best fight in the entire MCU. Right at the moment that Cap threw the hammer at Thanos and caught it back, everyone knew he was going to do that. But still everyone cheered and screamed like crazy. All of us said what Thor did – “I knew it.”

What followed was extreme levels of awesomeness. Captain America struck Thanos constantly. Then he unleashed lightning upon the Mad Titan and that really pissed him off. Thanos was able to evade one last strike from Cap somehow, otherwise, Cap may have actually taken down Thanos for good. After evading the attack, Thanos did give Cap a lethal choke-slam and unleashed his wrath upon him, but Cap would have been the winner if he did somehow managed to get that one final thunderous blow. On the commentary track of Endgame, the creatives also confirm the fact that Steve Rogers “almost” takes down Thanos on his own using the power of Thor and his own fighting skills.

Here’s what the writers and directors said:

“McFeely – Now, he really knows how to use this thing.

Markus – Well it’s a hammer, how hard could it be?

McFeely – Oh, he’s banging the shield off of it.

Joe Russo – We learn in Civil War that Cap is one of the most expert fighters. When Friday tells Tony that he can’t beat Cap hand-to-hand. Now we get to see what a powered-up Cap looks like against Thanos. And he almost takes him.”

Avengers: Endgame Directors Chris Hemsworth Going For The Head

But Thanos obviously is the most experienced fighter in the entire galaxy. There were so many instances where he could have been taken down for good, but he used his wits, his skills, and the Infinity Stones to get out of all those tough situations. Iron Man could have taken down Thanos, Thor could have, Captain Marvel almost did, Captain America and Scarlet Witch most certainly had him. But Thanos used his awareness and the resources around him to turn the tables. His one mistake was, letting his ego get the better of him. That caused Iron Man to have the upper gauntlet.

But you just have to stand up and clap for Thanos because of the menace and trouble he caused for the last 2 years. He sure is the greatest comic book villain, if not the greatest movie villain of all time. Hats off to the writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, hats off to the directors, Joe & Anthony Russo, and a huge applause for Kevin Feige & Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Endgame Theory – Thanos Actually Created Galactus With The Second Snap

It’s funny that ever since Avengers: Endgame hit the theatres, these theories have kinda died because no one really knows about the grand plan of Marvel in the next 3-4 Phases. From what it looks like, the Phases are going to run for a shorter span of time now since the Disney+ Series will also be canon to the MCU. So, we can actually expect multiple boss villains. But there has to be one big bad running things like Thanos did. There are several villains who could replace Thanos, but Galactus will obviously be the first name on everyone’s minds.

The Eternals MCU
Avengers: Endgame

Logically, the upcoming Phase 4 films will be setting up this next big bad, but what if the seeds for Galactus have already been planted? There’s this new theory which suggests that Thanos actually had another insurance in play when he snapped his fingers a second time to destroy the stones themselves. This theory coming from Reddit user UpwardSpiral00 says:

“So I’ve been thinking a lot about Thanos lately, and how he seemed to have such resolute conviction about destroying the Infinity Stones after his snap, to prevent them from being used to undo his culling of the universe. And something didn’t sit right with me.

Avengers: Endgame

Thanos is a smart guy. He’s worked hard for decades on his crusade to balance the universe. He may have even used the Time Stone to look ahead and see his death at the hands of the surviving Avengers. But he didn’t seem concerned about his great work being undone. And yet, it would be, even just with nature running its course.

Avengers: Endgame

The world population in 2018 was roughly 7.7 billion. Thanos snaps, we’re down to 3.85 billion, or roughly the global population at the end of 1972. So in 46 years, about half a human lifetime, the population would bounce back. And presumably this would be a similar scenario replayed on other planets in the MCU that survived the snap enough to bounce back. Surely this would have occurred to someone as smart and methodical as Thanos.”

What the Redditor is suggesting here is that Thanos obviously wasn’t as stupid. He must have known that people might not succumb to his will. Some might resist the form of justice bestowed upon them. While he did think that removing the stones out of the picture would let people believe that they’ve lost. But there still needs to be a backup. The Redditor continues:

“And even if he didn’t foresee his own death, he would have understood that without the stones, life would be free to run rampant again. So my theory is, as part of his plan to remove the temptation of the stones but still ensure his great work would not be in vain, he created an insurance policy, at the same time that he was destroying the stones. An agent of destruction that would keep life in check by not only being a cosmically powered force of nature that mere mortal heroes couldn’t surpress, but also by using burgeoning populations and biospheres for its own sustenance. A world devourer.”

Avengers 4 Thanos

Now, this could be a great way to bring Galactus into the picture. He has the capability to be an even bigger villain than Thanos ever was (quite literally). Since Disney has got hold of the major Fox properties, Marvel could easily use villains like Doctor Doom, Galactus, Apocalypse and combine them with the likes of Annihilus, Kang, Maestro and many more.

James Gunn Final Guardians of The Galaxy Easter Egg

In the meanwhile, here’s the Phase 4 slate – Black Widow on May 1, 2020, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier in Fall 2020, The Eternals on November 6, 2020, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on February 12, 2021, WandaVision in Spring 2021, Loki in Spring 2021, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on May 7, 2021, What If? In Summer 2021, Hawkeye in Fall 2021, and Thor: Love and Thunder on November 5, 2021.

How Thanos Broke Captain America’s Shield Revealed

Vibranium is supposed to be the strongest metal on Earth. And yet we see Thanos shred it into pieces like it was nothing. The fight between Thanos and Captain America has to be the best in the entire film since it not only proves Captain America to be worthy, but we see Cap really push Thanos to the edge. Thanos was really pissed off with their duel and he replies with an insane amount of berserker rage.

He had both hands on deck while taking on Cap. No one really knew about his double-bladed sword. But as soon as Thanos went rampant on Cap constantly taking strikes at him, his Shield actually was no match for that blade. Vibranium is supposed to be unbreakable. It is an alien metal that arrived on the planet with a meteorite. Thanos broke the myth that there’s nothing stronger than Vibruanium. But how was Thanos able to do this? How strong was his weapon? Or more importantly, where did he get this sword?

Thanos Broke Captain America’s Shield

The writers and directors of the movie have possibly solved this mystery of ours.

Now, it hasn’t been mentioned anywhere that when Thanos got the Infinity Gauntlet made, it was the first time he met Eitri or visited Nidavellir. Back in Infinity War, Rocket said that Nidavellir was famous for making the strongest weapons in the galaxy. Mjolnir came from those Dwarves. The Infinity Gauntlet came from there, and the Stormbreaker as well.

Joe Russos says that Thanos clearly knew Eitri, so he must have gone to the dwarves for his double-bladed sword as well. Since the sword was able to shatter Vibranium, we can only imagine one metal with the ability to do that. This metal is none other than Uru. This is what the creatives are implying at, and this is what the real truth is. Thanos’ sword is made from Uru metal, and so is the Stormbreaker. This also means that if Thor applies the right amount of force just like Thanos did repeatedly, then he could also crack Cap’s shield with the Stormbreaker.

Thanos broke Cap’s shield and later Scarlet Witch was able to split Thanos’ sword into two pieces. So, Wanda clearly is the strongest Avenger. Just how strong is she? This question will certainly be answered in the upcoming show, WandaVision and probably in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as well. Kevin Feige has already confirmed that she is the strongest since she would have killed Thanos if he didn’t rain fire.

Jane Foster Thor

Eitri is still out there on Nidavellir, so it would be really great if Marvel brings him back sometime in the future. Thor: Love And Thunder is bringing in Jane Foster’s The Mighty Thor. It is said that she will also be worthy of the Mjolnir and the power of Thor. But where will Marvel bring Mjolnir from? Will it be Eitri who makes the hammer once again? Hela obviously broke the original one, and Cap took it back to where it was taken from in Endgame. So, let’s see how Taika Waititi spins it.

The Thanos Army Plot Hole Has Been Explained by Avengers: Endgame Directors

Avengers: Endgame now has many proud owners as it has only been 2 days and so many people already own the digital copy of the movie. With that copy came the bonus features of the film and an exclusive audio commentary from the writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely and directors Joe & Anthony Russo. This commentary has answered quite a lot of queries that people had.

Thanos Avengers: Endgame

Since the film was extremely huge and complex, things had to move at a pretty quick pace. But what’s great about this film is that even though it had so much to unravel, it still took its merry time in certain scenes. There wasn’t a whole lot of pacing issues but a few things did happen quite fast and people actually weren’t explained things properly. In a movie this big, we were always going to get such unexplained things which needed to be elucidated later on. The king of this category was Old man Cap.

Thanos Avengers: Endgame

The directors did confirm the fact that Cap created an alternate reality, lived his life peacefully and came back to the prime reality somehow as an old man. Before the explanation, some people actually thought that this is a plot hole. But it obviously wasn’t. Similar to this, there was another scene that people thought of as a plot hole. That was when Thanos brought the entire Sanctuary II from the Quantum Tunnel.

Thanos Avengers: Endgame

2014 Nebula presented Thanos with Pym particles that were only enough for a one way trip back home. So how exactly did Thanos manage to shrink his entire ship and army? The answer to this was Ebony Maw. Joe Russo said on the commentary:

“There is a guy called Maw in his army, he was a great wizard. Thanos himself was a brilliant genius as well. Those two easily reverse engineered and mass produced Pym Particles.”

Thanos Avengers: Endgame

It doesn’t really matter how much time they would have taken to mass produce the Pym Particles because ultimately they were going to arrive at the same moment in 2023 that they did in the future. So, this wasn’t a plot hole at all. What’s crazy is that if you think about it, Thanos wouldn’t have got his hands on the Pym Particles at all if Nebula would have gone back home instead of running on to warn Clint and Natasha. It would have been a very happy ending, and Tony Stark wouldn’t have died. The casualties in Endgame would have been just 1, i.e. Natasha Romanoff. But where’s the fun in that right?

Thanos Avengers: Endgame

Hence, we’re absolutely okay with the fact that Thanos found a way to get his hands on the shrinking tech. Else we wouldn’t have got the epic “Avengers Assemble” moment for which the entire Infinity Saga was built. Plus, it was a good way to enroll Thanos back into the story after killing him off right in the very first act. It’s actually funny that the directors were shocked to know that people laughed at Thanos’ decapitation. Well, the next line following that scene was “I went for the head.” So yea, people did laugh because the creatives instigated them to.

Thanos Avengers: Endgame

Kevin Feige Confirms That Scarlet Witch Can Destroy Thanos Single Handedly!

Wanda Maximoff is a character that is gonna go deep under exploration in 2021. WandaVision will explain why Wanda is actually called the Scarlet Witch. Till now, we’ve only seen limited usage of Wanda as a character because she has mostly just been a part of the battles in Age of Ultron, Civil War, Infinity War and Endgame. Amidst all that, Marvel has managed to upgrade her powers and establish a little relationship with Vision. But now it’s her time, and it’ll be her all the way!

Kevin Feige Scarlet Witch Thanos

She is going to be the most important character of Phase 4. WandaVision is said to lead us right into Doctor Strange, which is a film that will deal with the Multiverse. So what if her actions in the series (House of M) cause all the Multiverse madness? At this point of time, she is the hot stuff of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is probably the most powerful superhero. Kevin Feige has already confirmed that she can beat Thanos one on one.

Kevin Feige Scarlet Witch Thanos

Feige told Comicbook.com:

“Wanda Maximoff, who is probably near the upper echelons of power – I contend she would have taken down Thanos if he hadn’t called the [army], it was done.”

Kevin Feige Scarlet Witch Thanos

Thanos showed that at the end, he is as petty and tiny as other villains because he rained fire on his own troops to save himself. That’s why his win didn’t last forever and the Avengers were able to reverse what he did. But Scarlet Witch is extremely powerful! She left Thanos’ doubled edged sword in pieces. That sword was stronger than Vibranium and she shredded it. That’s not it. She managed to destroy an Infinity Stone while resisting Thanos, who at that point of time had 5 Infinity Stones! So, he power levels probably exceed that of the Infinity Gauntlet.

Kevin Feige Scarlet Witch Thanos
Scarlet Witch

Imagine if her character has been developed so much in these supporting roles over the last 4 movies, how powerful she will end up being towards the end of WandaVision! Theories suggest that we would see her reality altering powers finally come into play. The House of M is an alternate reality that she created in the comics, but why? She was depressed over the loss of Vision and her kids because of her. In the MCU, her grief would be over the loss of Vision and her brother Quicksilver instead. So, the moment she figures out that she can alter reality, we could see her creating MCU’s own version of “House of M.”

Kevin Feige Scarlet Witch Thanos

In this new MCU reality, Vision would be alive and he may actually be human. She and Vision could perhaps be living a life with their children. This will bring a lot of drama into the mix, as one or two episodes could actually deal with the normal lives of WandaVision in the alternate reality. It’d be like the framework from the fourth season of Agents of SHIELD or perhaps the final season of Lost. And just like those shows, Vision could end up realizing that things aren’t real, and neither is he. That’s probably what could cause the conflict of interests between Vision and Wanda as Vision may actually rebel against what Wanda has done to bring him back.

Kevin Feige Scarlet Witch Thanos
Scarlet Witch

This is why there hasn’t been any particular revelation for a villain in this story. It’s because there isn’t a villain involved and ultimately it’d be Wanda and Vision who are at conflict. Paul Bettany was asked about Vision’s state at SDCC and he stated that he doesn’t know if he’s truly alive or dead in the series. We all thought that he was telling the truth since he must not have read the script yet. Well, he could have been telling the truth, but in a much different way because if all that we’ve stated above comes true, then Vision won’t know the truth behind his state for a larger part of the story.

Let’s see what happens. WandaVision has the potential to be a very gripping story emotionally. Let’s see what happens.

Avengers: Endgame – Thanos Almost Killed Every 2014 Avenger

Avengers: Endgame has finally achieved the biggest milestone, and now it can rest in peace as the highest-grossing movie of all time. People have sheer love and respect for this film, and for the direction that the film took out favorite heroes into. The final battle was amazing but this film won our hearts with the little character moments. Although the film, Avengers Endgame could have been much darker as it was recently revealed that an earlier version of the movie had the decapitated head of 2014’s Captain America being thrown by Thanos.

The writers of Avengers: Endgame, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely had their own panel during SDCC and they’ve revealed quite a lot of new info. Apparently, there would have been a moment earlier which would have shown 2014 Thanos enters the mainstream timeline during the final battle at the destroyed Avengers HQ and he would have thrown a severed head of 2012 Cap at the feet of Tony, Cap, and Thor. Things just weren’t good for 2012 Cap because he was also defeated by 2023 Captain America and perhaps that change in the timeline would have led him to take on Thanos somehow.

Thanos MTV Movie And TV Awards

Well, this decapitated head scene wasn’t completely described earlier, as Thanos would have killed every Avenger back in 2014. Before his ship would have showed up in 2023, he would have taken a certain detour to go fight the Avengers in that particular year. CBR revealed what the writers said during their Comic-Con Panel:

“In one, he – being Thanos – knowing it would take Nebula some time to rejigger the time machine… so he went to his present-day Earth and wiped it out and killed the Avengers, and then Nebula would turn on the time machine, he would walk through the time machine with ‘the body of an Avenger he had killed’ and say, ‘I killed you again. What are you going to do?'”

Avengers: Endgame Theory Tony Stark Thanos Ultron

This would have taken a much darker tone and we may have loved it. But perhaps Thanos obliterating the Avengers yet again would have become quite repetitive, so it’s okay that we didn’t really get this scene. It sure would have added a cool fight scene for us, but it also would have added extra time in the movie. We’d rather have an extended final battle than another battle of Thanos killing all the Avengers.

But, exploring this alternate timeline would be quite interesting, and we’re happy that Marvel is doing that with the upcoming Loki series on Disney+. Imagine if Thanos would have killed the Avengers in this timeline, and Loki would be running rampant with the Tesseract. Earth from this alternate universe would turn into a dark apocalyptic world. Since that was DC’s department, we’re happy that Marvel didn’t take a dive into that.

Marvel’s upcoming series “What If?” could also deal with such alternate events. Well, it won’t be alternate timelines, but yes, the show will explore everything that happened in the MCU over the last decade. It would happen in a twisted way where every episode will ask the question of “What if this would have happened?” “What if Peggy Carter got the Super Soldier Serum?” “What if Loki was worthy?” Let’s see what happens.

Iron Man Endgame Marvel

Directed by Joe & Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Danai Gurira as Okoye, Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Vin Diesel as Groot, Dave Bautista as Drax, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Gwyneth Paltrow Pepper Potts, Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, Benedict Wong as Wong, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Samuel L. Avengers: Endgame – Thanos Originally Threw the Decapitated Head of Captain America

Avengers: Endgame was this massive film full of epic moments that were beyond anything we had ever seen in the MCU. But just imagine how many ideas would have been discarded before deciding the definitive thing to do in the film. There were so many factors involved and every one of those factors could have taken the film into a different direction. There were plans to send Tony to Asgard initially. Nova would have been in Infinity War and Endgame after being beaten by Thanos. So many things could have happened differently.

Thanos MTV Movie And TV Awards

It’s really amazing that even though the battle scenes in Endgame were less as compared to Infinity War, Civil War or even The Winter Soldier, but they sure were quite brutal and tense. We had our hearts in our mouths when Iron Man fought Thanos in Infinity War, and we felt the same tension when Steve fought an even stronger version of Thanos during Endgame.

Avengers 4 Thor Thanos

There was a rule that we’d never see a decapitation in a Disney movie. But apparently, Avengers: Endgame broke that rule when Thor straight up axed the head of Thanos after cutting off this arm. But throwing Cap’s decapitated head would have taken things to another level of extreme. It would have seemed like the world of Deadpool blended with Endgame.

Well, it’s okay that we didn’t get this brutally graphic scene in the film as the children in the theatres might not have been able to take it. After all this, the writers still managed to surprise us all with the ending that Captain America got. Apparently, it was finally a happy ending for Cap who went back in time and lived with Peggy creating an alternate timeline.

Back when Endgame hit the theatres, the writers told New York Times that this was always going to be the ending they’d planned for Captain America. They said:

“McFeely – From the very first outline, we knew he was going to get his dance. On a separate subject, I started to lose my barometer on what was just fan service and what was good for the character. Because I think it’s good for the characters. But we also just gave you what you wanted. Is that good? I don’t know. But I’ll tell you, it’s satisfying. He’s postponed a life in order to fulfill his duty. That’s why I didn’t think we were ever going to kill him. Because that’s not the arc. The arc is, I finally get to put my shield down because I’ve earned that.

Markus – A hero without sacrifice, you’re not going to get the miles out of that person that you need to for these movies. That’s what makes them a hero, it’s not the powers.”

We’d love to see what Cap did in his alternate timeline, but then again, Chris Evans won’t be renewing his contract. Jackson as Nick Fury, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, William Hurt as General Ross, Tilda Swinton as Ancient One and Josh Brolin as Thanos.

Avengers: Endgame – The Vormir Scene Originally Involved an Attack from Thanos

Avengers: Endgame involved the heroes going back in time to bring back the Infinity Stones from the past so they could undo everything that Thanos had previously done. To make this happen, Natasha Romanoff had to make the greatest sacrifice. It was because of her that the Stark Gauntlet was a complete set. Her death scene was pretty emotional but it was really important for the film to come together. The relationship between Hawkeye & Black Widow was taken to another level on Vormir, but what’s interesting is that this scene could have been very different originally.

Avengers: Endgame Avengers Endgame Vormir Scene

While we loved how close to our hearts this scene got. It was a small, simple & very personal scene where Widow & Barton argued with each other upon who should sacrifice themselves for the Soul Stone. But initially instead of just these two heroes being on Titan, there was actually a sequence where Thanos would have attacked Vormir.

Avengers Endgame Vormir Scene

Jeremy Renner recently appeared on a panel at this weekend’s Ace Comic Con, and he revealed how Nat’s death was shot initially:

“We shot it, and it’s very different from what’s in the movie now. It’s a scene we re-shot because it was much more complicated [than the] scene that’s in Endgame now. There’s an attack, Thanos is in some ship or something, and a bunch of weird aliens were running around and it was too complicated, so what they did is we shot the scene, still with the same kind of idea, but now we’re just fighting each other to commit suicide for the soul stone.”

Black Widow

Well, it would have been interesting to see how Thanos could have been involved in the scene. It might have been next to impossible for Widow and Clint to win against someone like Thanos. But still Clint would have ended up with the Soul Stone anyway. So, it’s good that we got a scene that involved just Hawkeye & Black Widow and what followed ended up totally surprising everyone.

Avengers Endgame Vormir Scene

The fans actually appreciated this smart and bold step of killing Black Widow, but many of us complained for Widow not getting a funeral similar to Tony Stark. Her sacrifice was perhaps even more crucial than Tony Stark, so she also deserved a funeral. So why didn’t everyone get to know about her heroic act? Well, the writers have an answer for us. They had a pretty big interview with The New York Times, and they explained why Widow’s death was really important, and why she did not get a funeral like Tony did.

Avengers Endgame Vormir Scene

Here’s what Stephen McFeely had to say:

“Her journey, in our minds, had come to an end if she could get the Avengers back. She comes from such an abusive, terrible, mind-control background, so when she gets to Vormir and she has a chance to get the family back, that’s a thing she would trade for. Tony gets a funeral. Natasha doesn’t. That’s partly because Tony’s this massive public figure and she’s been a cipher the whole time. It wasn’t necessarily honest to the character to give her a funeral.”

We’re really glad that the creatives did not meddle with the Vormir scene. It was just perfect and we didn’t want anything else.

Thanos Wins The “Best Villain” Award at MTV Movie and TV Awards

Avengers: Infinity War established why Thanos is the biggest villain there is. He isn’t just the best MCU villain, but he’s actually the best supervillain and probably one of the best movie antagonists there has ever been. Infinity War was just one movie, but Thanos cemented his spot at the top in Avengers: Endgame. He was in his prime and the Avengers weren’t able to take him down! Even without the stones he managed to beat every single one of them.

Endgame didn’t give Thanos as big of a role to play as he got in Infinity War, but whatever he did was phenomenal. So him winning the Best Villain award at the MTV Movie and TV Awards shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. Robert Downey Jr. won the Best Hero and Thanos won the Best Villain. The real credit behind this has to go to Josh Brolin. He made a big CGI monstrosity believable at the most human level.

Thanos MTV Movie And TV Awards

What’s really great is that Avengers: Endgame gave us two different versions of the Mad Titan. Earlier this year, comicbook.com spoke with Matt Aitken of Weta Digital — the visual effects supervisor overseeing much of Thanos’ development, and he revealed the difference between the two versions of Thanos:

Thanos MTV Movie And TV Awards

“He is kind of like a slightly different character. But we did use the same base assets for both films. We spent a lot of time, obviously, on Infinity War working Thanos up. But then the Thanos that we see in Endgame is a younger Thanos. He’s come forward from 2014, so he’s… technically, I think he’s like four years younger than the Thanos of Infinity War. He’s more agile. He’s kind of at the peak of his physical prowess. And he’s also clothed differently. He’s wearing the armor. He’s in battle mode. We did the sequences on Titan for Infinity War where he was kind of dressed much more casually, and he’s more philosophical in those. So we had that work to do to kind of redress him in the armor.

Thanos MTV Movie And TV Awards

We wanted to reflect his youth and his power, mainly through animation. So that’s not so much a change that we make to the base asset, but it is a change that we make to the approach on how we’re animating him.”

Thanos MTV Movie And TV Awards

Well, even though we saw Captain America prime and even Thor was almost at his best, they could not beat Thanos. What their constant attacks did was only piss him off even more. The real strength was actually shown by the ladies as it was Scarlet Witch and Captain Marvel who did a significant amount of damage before Iron Man snapped and won the Endgame! Thanos went out knowing that he has lost and at the very last second, he realized that there’s no version where he could come out on top.

Thanos MTV Movie And TV Awards

Jackson as Nick Fury, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, William Hurt as General Ross, Tilda Swinton as Ancient One and Josh Brolin as Thanos.

Thanos MTV Movie And TV Awards

Here’s the synopsis of Avengers: Endgame:

“Thanos snapped his fingers in Avengers: Infinity War, and half the life in the universe instantly dissolved. Now a ragged group of surviving warriors, including Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Man, Thor, and the Hulk works to counteract the Mad Titan’s genocidal action.

Thanos MTV Movie And TV Awards

Since our heroes couldn’t stop Thanos the first time, what makes them think they can win in a rematch? The answer may be in overwhelming power, thanks to Captain Marvel, or in the tiniest spaces between atoms accessible to Ant-Man. Avengers: Endgame will rewrite the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it. When it’s all over, nothing will be the same.”

Avengers Endgame – Thanos’ Infinity Sword Created by Cosmic Gods Called Celestials

Avengers: Endgame –

When Korath claimed Thanos was the “most powerful being in the universe” in Guardians of the Galaxy, many thought it was just cinematic exaggeration. With beings like the Hulk and Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, could there actually be someone even more powerful than them? Thanos gave a definite answer in Infinity War when he brought down the Hulk using just his bare hands in a bare-knuckled fistfight. The Hulk was so scarred from his defeat that he refused to come out ever again. Many claimed that it was just the work of the Infinity Stones and without the Infinity Gauntlet Thanos was just a piece of cake for the Avengers to walk through.

Avengers: Endgame Thanos Infinity Sword Celestials

He proved them all wrong when the Mad Titan took down the entire roster of the Avengers using just his skills as a warrior and his trusted sword dubbed the Infinity Sword. Many have wondered what was that sword made out of and who made such a miraculous weapon that could withstand vibranium attacks, lightning strikes and even blows from the most powerful beings in the universe and still live to tell the tale. It was the Infinity Sword that was more or less the deciding factor in Thanos almost winning the fight against the Avengers in Endgame. And here is a nifty little theory that states the origin of the Infinity Sword. Presenting – Avengers Endgame – Thanos’ Infinity Sword created by Cosmic Gods called Celestials!!!

Avengers: Endgame Thanos Infinity Sword Celestials

While Thanos is already known as a renowned warrior that has taken down entire civilizations using just his brawns, it was quite unexpected to see how well he performed with his broad blade in the battlefield. The length of the blade coupled with its ridiculous levels of durability and sharpness allowed it to withstand magical as well as cosmic energy beams thrown at it. By spinning the blade, Thanos could even create a shield in front of him, a shield that was strong enough to absorb any kind of attack. When Thanos swung the blade, it complemented his fighting style and coupled with his naturally inhuman levels of strength and agility. Thanos became a force of nature every time he used that sword. A weapon as invincible as the Infinity Sword must not be taken lightly and should not be considered as an ordinary weapon. It has to have a very huge origin story and we are here to help you get to the bottom of that.

The Infinity Sword – how powerful is it really??

Avengers: Endgame Thanos Infinity Sword Celestials

There is a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that is known to make weapons of wondrous and miraculous qualities. Nidavellir is the realm of the Dwarf weaponsmiths of Asgard. It was here that Thor’s hammer Mjolnir was forged from the heart of a dying star, the star being the core of the furnace that provides the heat necessary to melt Uru, a mystical Asgardian metal with enchanted properties. It was also where Thor went to meet Eitri, King of the Dwarves, who revealed that he had plans to prepare a replacement weapon for Thor called Stormbreaker.

Avengers: Endgame Thanos Infinity Sword Celestials

Stormbreaker was supposed to be a weapon fit for the King of Asgard. And after it got into the hands of the God of Thunder, it was sheer mayhem. In Infinity War, it is revealed that not only is Stormbreaker able to summon the power of the Bifrost – which means he can travel between dimensions and use it to destroy entire planets, but also has the power to withstand the combined attack of the six Infinity Stones, which makes it even stronger than the Infinity Gauntlet – something that was considered to be the strongest weapon in the entire Marvel Universe.

Avengers: Endgame Thanos Infinity Sword Celestials

In Endgame, we see both Mjolnir and the Stormbreaker in action. And both of them took on Thanos and his Infinity Sword. What amazed us was how easily the Infinity Sword deflected the attacks of both Mjolnir and the Stormbreaker. This means that the Sword is at least as powerful as or even more powerful than Stormbreaker itself. Moreover, the Sword easily cut Captain America’s Vibranium shield into pieces, vibranium being the strongest metal in the universe that is no small feat either.

Enter the Celestials

Avengers: Endgame Thanos Infinity Sword Celestials

To know more about the Celestial angle in this theory, we need to dive deeper into Thanos’ origin. Thanos belongs to a race of superhuman beings called the Eternals. The Eternals were the result of the Celestials experimenting on the human race after they discovered humanity’s tremendous genetic potential to evolve into a race of super-powered individuals in the future. To know more about humanity’s potential for superpowers, the Celestials created the Eternals, who were an evolutionary offshoot of humanity. What was even more incredible was their technology that was millions of years more advanced than any technology found on Earth or any other races related to the planet. The Asgardians, who also have incredibly powerful superhuman abilities and technology, are children in from of the Eternals both in terms of abilities and knowledge.

Avengers: Endgame Thanos Infinity Sword Celestials

Since Thanos was always the one looking for power to change the fate of the universe, he must have come across the story of the celestials and how they were the ones responsible for the creation of the Eternals. His quest would have then taken him to the Celestials themselves, who were the first wielders of the Infinity Stones. Thanos needed the Stones to bring balance back to the universe.

Avengers: Endgame Thanos Infinity Sword Celestials

That was something the Celestials had been doing since the dawn of time. Since the Celestials were the first of the sentient races to grace this universe, they were the ones who forged the Infinity Stones out of Universal aspects of cosmos and chaos. As the Collector claims in GOTG Volume 1, the Celestials used these Infinity Stones to pass out judgments for entire civilizations. That was the power he sought and Thanos wanted to know more about the Celestials. And we think he did.

So did the Celestials make Thanos’ Infinity Sword?

Avengers: Endgame Thanos Infinity Sword Celestials

The Dwarf smiths of Nidavellir are truly talented. But they are not nearly as skilled and capable of making a sword of that caliber. So do not expect this theory to stray into the territory of “Eitri made the sword – End of Story!!” We will never accept that. There has to be more to the Infinity Sword than what meets the eye. In the MCU, Celestials do exist and they have been featured prominently in the Marvel movies so far. Ego was the last surviving Celestial who was also the antagonist in GOTG Volume 2. The Space Station Knowhere in GOTG Volume 1 was the severed head of a now dead Celestial. Remember the Celestials have powerful abilities – cosmic energy manipulation gives them the ability to change matter and controlling it at a subatomic level.

Avengers: Endgame Thanos Infinity Sword Celestials

A Celestial is generally a huge being – sometimes they could be even as big as a planet. But as we came to know from Ego, a Celestial can create a tine version of itself to act on its behalf. Even when they are only as big as a human being, they are still capable of all those incredible feats. The Infinity Sword could be a weapon forged by a Celestial after it decided to become a human-sized individual. We do not know the reason why the said Celestial would do that. But it is a theory nonetheless.

Avengers: Endgame Thanos Infinity Sword Celestials

Thanos’ search for the Celestials would have certainly taken him to the planets where they would have been. He must have visited scores of planets where dozens of Celestials gathered. Those planets would be a treasure trove of Celestial artifacts. And that is where Thanos found the Infinity Sword. Out of respect and in awe of such an incredible weapon, Thanos made it his life mission to train himself to master the sword. The Celestials created the weapon and used it in combat but after they went extinct, zillions of years later Thanos took up where they left and wielded the cosmic blade in combat. And to be frank, this theory is as close it gets to explaining how a simple gold crusted blade was able to do all that in Avengers: Endgame.

Avengers: Endgame – Iron Man Almost Said F*ck Off Thanos Right Before the Snap

Avengers: Endgame won’t be done until it is taken off the theatres screens. It is the second biggest movie of all time and may become the biggest as far as commercial success is concerned. It was full of iconic moments that made the theatre screens go berserk with the screams of the people. But the biggest moment in the film has to be the final snap that saves the entire Universe.

Avengers: Endgame Captain America
Avengers: Endgame

Tony made the sacrifice play and completely stunned the audience. The I am Iron Man moment was so perfect that you’d actually be surprised to know that it wasn’t always going to be how we saw it. The story behind how this scene came to be is quite funny actually. Earlier, Iron Man used to say nothing before the snap.

Avengers: Endgame Writers Katherine Langford Robert Downey Jr.

But then the second problem that the creatives faced was getting Robert Downey Jr. to actually do it. Apparently, he was reluctant to say the line. It was really hard for him emotionally to say it, and it took some convincing by Joe Russo to actually come through with it. Speaking with CinemaBlend‘s ReelBlend, here’s what Joe Russo had to say:

“It’s an interesting story. I had dinner with [Robert Downey Jr.] like two weeks before we were supposed to shoot it. And he was like, ‘I don’t know. I don’t really want to go back and get into that emotional state. It’ll take… it’s hard.’ And crazily enough, Joel Silver, the producer, was at the dinner. He’s an old buddy of Robert’s. And Joel jumps in and he’s like, ‘Robert, what are you talking about? That’s the greatest line I’ve ever heard! You gotta say this line! You have to do this!’ So thank God that Joel Silver was at dinner, because he helped us talk Robert into doing that line.”

Robert Downey Jr. I am Iron Man

But now we’ve got another funny revelation from the writers. Speaking with Empire, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely said that they had alternative ideas that would have made Tony say “f*ck you” and “f*ck off” to Thanos. One of the scribes said:

“I think there was f*ck you at one point. Didn’t he say f*ck off? He may have said it…you do a lot of takes. Like can we really end all this on a complete swear? On a kiss my ass Thanos.”

Avengers: Endgame Thanos Tony Stark

Well, how funny would that have been! It obviously would never have been the case because firstly, this is a Disney movie, and closest they’ve come to saying “F*ck” is a “What the….” In Spider-Man: Homecoming and a “Mother F…..” in Avengers: Infinity War. But the second and the most important reason is that even though it would have been quite amazing as an individual moment, it would not have fit in with Tony’s death which followed right after the dialogue. So, it’s good that it didn’t happen.

MCU Phase 4 to Have Not 1 But 2 Thanos-Like Super-Villain Masterminds

MCU Phase 4:

The Mad Titan had to plan out each end every step he made when he was trying to take down the Avengers. The Earth’s mightiest heroes were the greatest obstacles to his plan of bringing back his so-called balance to the universe. Thanos was never one to take any hasty measures. He was cold, calculating and cunning to the core. He did not just rely on brawns but used it in tandem with his brains to take down whatever the Avengers threw his way. That is what made his official debut as the big bad wolf in Infinity War so much more impactful. The audience knew Thanos meant business, unlike the other Marvel villains. And it took them a lot of time, energy and resources as well as their greatest and most legendary member to take down the purple megalomaniac. But if rumours are to be trusted, the Avengers, now weary and battered, will be facing not just one but two big bad wolves like Thanos! Presenting – MCU Phase 4 to have not 1 but 2 Thanos-like Super-Villain Masterminds!!

MCU Phase 4 Villains Thanos

Reddit is supposedly the go to site for all Marvel related stuff nowadays. The internet went into an absolute frenzy after a trusted Reddit source user called TheMarvelScoopMaster announced that Marvel will be introducing two separate villains into the MCU this time. The guy has been proven right in the past regarding the scores of theories he puts in on Reddit. He claims that the two separate villains will be made up of one ground level villain and a cosmic one.

MCU Phase 4 Villains Thanos

He said and we quote:

“I have some news on who the new big bads will be in the MCU. Yes, plural. We’re going to see more than one villain in the MCU. Think of it as two Thanos level threats, but Marvel is looking to create a more ‘ground level’ threat and a more ‘cosmic’ threat. This will be their way of upping the ante of Thanos.”

MCU Phase 4 Villains Thanos

The two villains in question could be anyone. But if we were to guess who the Earth-based villain would be, we have to go with a very obvious choice – Norman Osborn aka the Green Goblin. After Spider-Man: Far From Home will expand the Spiderman universe,  we are pretty sure Marvel Studios will look forward to making Norman Osborn, a very interesting and popular villain in Marvel Comics, a part of the larger MCU. Coupled with the fact that Osborn got newfound fame after his tenure as the leader of the Dark Avengers and the reason the Siege and Dark Reign storyline happened, expect those elements to be incorporated into the future MCU continuity as well.

For the comic supervillain, we have three probable choices. Captain Marvel has already introduced the Kree Supreme Intelligence. We could also see a lot of theories about Kang the Conqueror coming to the MCU. Then there is also another theory that the next MCU Cosmic Super Villain will be none other than Michael Korvac and the Korvac Saga will be a huge part of the MCU future timeline. Or at least that is what the rumour mill is churning out these days.

MCU Phase 4 Villains Thanos

The Last Solo Marvel movie to be released under the Disney banner is Captain Marvel. The movie has been declared a Huge Box Office Success. The official film synopsis for the movie reads:

Captain Marvel is an extraterrestrial Kree warrior who finds herself caught in the middle of an intergalactic battle between her people and the Skrulls. Living on Earth in 1995, she keeps having recurring memories of another life as U.S. Air Force pilot Carol Danvers. With help from Nick Fury, Captain Marvel tries to uncover the secrets of her past while harnessing her special superpowers to end the war with the evil Skrulls.

MCU Phase 4 Villains Thanos

Avengers: Endgame was released on the 26th of April, 2019. The official film synopsis of the movie has been already released and it states:

“After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.”

Spider-Man: Far From Home – Tom Holland Drops a Major Spoiler About The Elementals & Thanos

Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame dealt with the Infinity Stones as Thanos wanted to bring the Universe to balance, and he did that by snapping his fingers with all 6 Infinity Stones together! Later the Avengers were successful in bringing Thanos’ Snap victims back to life with their own Snap. Hulk did that, but even after all the disintegrated individuals came back, it just wasn’t enough. Iron Man snapped to get rid of Thanos & his army from the Universe, and that’s how everyone was saved. But all this didn’t get things back to Normal & Spider-Man: Far From Home is the greatest example of that.

Spider-Man: Far From Home Tom Holland The Elementals Thanos

The Snap victims came back after facing 5 years of nothingness. Peter and his friends who were snapped will continue their lives from where they left, but things are not back to normal because the world is 5 years older. Half a decade worth of developments have happened all across the world, and the snap victims just have to deal with all that.

Spider-Man: Far From Home Tom Holland The Elementals Thanos

But this is not the only problem that has occurred with these snaps. There’s a much bigger problem that would actually drive the entire future of the MCU in the next few years at least. The Spider-Man: Far From Home trailers have shown us that the Snap actually tore a hole in the dimensions, and that caused Mysterio to come to Earth 616. Meaning, that there is a Multiverse out there with Infinite Earths and Mysterio is not from the one that the Avengers are from.

Spider-Man: Far From Home Tom Holland The Elementals Thanos

Nick Fury talks about the Snap tearing a whole in the Dimensions, but which Snap was actually responsible for it? Remember there were 3 of them. Well, we assumed that it could have been one of the recent two Snaps, but hoped that we’d get the answer to it once the movie finally comes out. Well, Tom Holland has done his thing. He has finished his quota of spoiling every film that he has been in, and now we’ve got a big one fore Spider-Man: Far From Home as well.

Spoiler Alert. Don’t move forward if you don’t wanna know. Do not check out the following video!

The reaction of the crowd upon seeing this was amazing. Everyone realized that our good ol’ Tom has done it again. Apparently, he tells people that,

“Mysterio in this movie is actually my new best friend. We team up together to fight these Elemental creatures because when Thanos snapped his fingers, these creatures came through the dimensional rift.”

Spider-Man: Far From Home Tom Holland The Elementals Thanos

The big mouth of Holland has given us a whole lot to talk about. This is a major spoiler because every trailer that we’ve seen till now, has focused upon Mysterio being a hero and a friend to Peter & everyone else. As far as the Elementals were concerned, we’ve only been told that they are these Element based creatures that need to be stopped. But now we know that it was Thanos’ snap that created the dimensional rift, and that resulted in Mysterio coming to Earth 616 along with the Elementals!

Spider-Man: Far From Home Tom Holland The Elementals Thanos

This more or less confirms Mysterio to be a villain. He is kind of a trickster himself, and he is just letting Peter believe that he is his close friend. He is doing this so he could show everyone that he is the one who has beaten the Elementals. He wants to be the next Iron Man of this Earth. So, if the Elementals are also from a different dimension, then it is not difficult to add 2 & 2 and find out that Mysterio is the one controlling them right from the start.

Spider-Man: Far From Home Tom Holland The Elementals Thanos

At a moment in the film, he will certainly turn on him, and we will find out the truth about Mysterio and his Element based monsters. So far we’ve all been led to believe that these monsters are very real even though we do know that Mysterio is an Illusionist. The MCU could have these Monsters to be real but if Mysterio is fighting them and winning against them, then he has to have control over them.

Spider-Man: Far From Home Tom Holland The Elementals Thanos

This is probably the big twist factor that Holland told Screen Rant about in the past. Here’s what he said:

“There’s a scene in this film where audiences will feel like they were punched in the face. Even filming it, I remember walking out and then watching it again on the monitors and asking Jon [Watts], ‘Are you sure that’s okay?’ And he’s like, ‘No, it’s not. People are going to hate this scene.’ But it really… God, it’s pretty crazy. And it’s very similar in the way that it’s very tense, and it sort of rips the rug from underneath your feet. It’s pretty awesome.”

Spider-Man: Far From Home Tom Holland The Elementals Thanos

Well, we’ve more or less anticipated this Gut Punch before the film has even come out. We were only assuming that Mysterio has to have some relation with the Elementals, but now we’re even more certain about majority of the plot. It will be Mysterio coming to Earth 616 and bringing the Elementals along so he could defeat these creatures in front of the people, and be a hero to them.

Spider-Man: Far From Home Tom Holland The Elementals Thanos

We don’t know much about the Elementals, but we’ve got yet another confirmation that these Elementals are different from their comic book counterparts. Producer Eric Carroll went into much more of a detailed explanation about these creatures, and he said:

Spider-Man: Far From Home Tom Holland The Elementals Thanos

“We went digging and found characters. I’m not going to say exactly which ones yet because we want to leave some dots for fans to connect. The real nerdy inside joke here is that they’re based on B-level Spider-Man baddies. There is actually a villain in the comics called Hydro-Man, who’s a guy made out of water but wears a t-shirt and has a haircut…” Carrol said they wanted to make them “kind of scary and threatening…for all the comic fans keeping score, it’ll be fun to see Hydro-Man brought to the big screen in a way we think is pretty cool.”

Spider-Man: Far From Home Tom Holland The Elementals Thanos

Caroll mentions that the massive creatures that we’ve seen here are based on the B-level villains like Hydro Man, Molten Man and even Sand Man. He said that their take is different from the comic book versions. It is scarier. This obviously means that all these creatures will not be actual persons like they are in the comics. They won’t be wearing shirts. So that again brings us to the conclusion that they are monsters created by someone. They could be similar to how Imhotep was able to manipulate the Elements of Nature in The Mummy franchise.

Spider-Man: Far From Home Tom Holland The Elementals Thanos

All this assumption after the spoiler drop from Holland may not be entirely as described above, but it sure does make a lot of sense. Still, after everything, the good thing that this spoiler does is that it confirms that Spider-Man: Far From Home is really dealing with the Multiverse. People assumed that Mysterio could have been lying about the Multiverse for his benefit, but now that Holland has confirmed that the Elementals are also from a different direction, so we have to believe that multiple Earths & dimensions are coming into the picture.

Spider-Man: Far From Home Tom Holland The Elementals Thanos

This just opens up the MCU to so many different possibilities! We could have a whole Spider-Verse in the future, and we could even have Battle World. Anything could be done with a vast Multiverse. Let’s just hope that Marvel doesn’t get too carried away with it.

Spider-Man: Far From Home Tom Holland The Elementals Thanos

Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out on July 2. It is going to star Tom Holland (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), Zendaya (Michelle Jones), Jake Gyllenhaal (Mysterio), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill), Marisa Tomei (May Parker), Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan), Angourie Rice (Betty, Jacob Batalon (Ned), Tony Revolori (Flash Thompson), and Numan Acar (Magnum).

Spider-Man: Far From Home Tom Holland The Elementals Thanos

Here’s the official Synopsis:

“Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!”

Avengers: Endgame Theory – Ego Becomes the Universe Killer in the Thanos-less Timeline
