Deathstroke was created by Marv Wolfman and George Perez, and he was introduced as “Deathstroke the Terminator” as a villain for the Teen Titans and his first appearance was in the comic book The New Teen Titans #2 back in December 1980. When his wife was fighting for her life, Slade gave her his blood to save her life. But it all turned out tragic as she gained a similar regenerative healing factor which made her immortal. Her DNA was altered due to this and it drove her insane.

However, he mistook a young Clark Kent for Bruce and was surprised when the neurotoxin he put in Clark’s drink just made him dizzy. He even tried cutting him with his sword, but the sword broke instantly and Clark just had to flick him off the yacht to win.
