New Marvel Superhero is The Iron Cat:
Throughout the years, the comic book giants – Marvel and DC Comics have done some really fantastic work. Marvel came up with the Civil War and the Spider-Verse arcs. DC released the Dark Nights Metal arc and the Blackest Night event. This century has seen the comic book industry grown by leaps and bounds. A lot many superheroes have debuted in the industry. Marvel, in particular, has done a splendid job at introducing new characters. Spider- Gwen, Gwen-Pool, Miles Morales, Agent Venom, Iron Heart – these are just to name a few. But maybe now Marvel has truly lost it. Their newest superhero just might prove the statement right.
Marvel Comics has recently revealed a teaser art for a new superhero currently under development for a solo storyline. Other than the fact that the character has been named Iron Cat by the fans (because the official name still has not been released yet), we do not know anything else about this character. The character depiction shows a woman in a suit of armor that is silver-white in color with tinges of neon pink. The Iron Cat logo is right in the middle of the chest plate portion of the armor. This new superhero looks like a combination of black Cat and Iron Man.
Black Cat is currently on track to steal some vital piece of technology from Tony Stark as teased in the new Black Cat series by writer Jed MacKay. He says and we quote:
“After Madripoor, Felicia and her crew return to the States to pull a job targeting a character who we’ve been saving for a real barn-burner of a heist,” Jed MacKay explains to the interviewers. “Spoilers: It’s Iron Man.”
If we start trying to pick some female superheroes that would fit into the armor, there might be endless possibilities. The two most eligible women to be this new Superhero could be either Shuri from Black Panther or Felicia Hardy her-self. Our bet is on the latter. There is a lot of risk making a character like this. Even with J Scott Campbell on board (who is currently providing his expertise for the artwork in the current Black Cat series) in this new series, the new comic book arc might be in jeopardy because of this ridiculous concept of a superhero.
Either Marvel is trying to make pull a Deadpool or they have officially lost it. Marvel is yet to reveal the full extent of their plans until June 2020 when they will release their June 2020 solicitations for the next iteration of Marvel Comics and their projects for the year and the coming year. Marvel’s May 2020 solicitations have already revealed that Black Cat will infiltrate Iron Man’s facilities and steal special Iron Man armor. Is this what is happening here? Is the Iron Cat here to stay or is it just a one-time fling??
The Last Solo Marvel movie to be released under the Disney banner is Spider-Man: Far From Home. The movie was released on the 2nd of November, 2018. The official film synopsis for the movie reads:
Peter Parker’s relaxing European vacation takes an unexpected turn when Nick Fury shows up in his hotel room to recruit him for a mission. The world is in danger as four massive elemental creatures — each representing Earth, air, water and fire — emerge from a hole torn in the universe. Parker soon finds himself donning the Spider-Man suit to help Fury and fellow superhero Mysterio stop the evil entities from wreaking havoc across the continent.
Avengers: Endgame released on the 26th of April, 2019. The official film synopsis of the movie has been released and it states:
“After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War, the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.”
