SPOILER ALERT: Major Spoilers for Spider-Verse #4 up ahead. Enter at your own risk….

Spider-Man has a very unique combination of abilities. Peter Parker has the abilities of a spider but also his psychic danger alert system called the Spider-Sense. Miles Morales has all the powers of Peter Parker as well as some more. He has the ability to release bio-energy blasts and can turn invisible. And a new Spider-Man has shown another ability that tops whatever we have seen within the heroes of the Spider-Verse as of now.

A new Wild West Cow Boy based Spider-Man called the Web-Slinger has an ability that sounds pretty similar to Spider-Sense but is actually completely different. This ability of his is called the Rider-Sense.

Miles Morales is being hurtled across the Multi-Verse to meet his alternate-reality counterparts and help them if need be. Patrick O’Hara aka Ponderosa Parker is the Spider-Man of the latest universe Miles Morales is stuck in. There he meets the Web-Slinger who is trying to save a town from being taken over and destroyed by that Universe’s Scorpion. Miles Morales and Ponderosa Parker decide it is time to team up and deal with the threat together before Miles is forced to leave that reality forever.

The Web-Slinger has no actual Spider-Man like powers. He uses two specially made pistols that shoot webbings and can tie up his enemies. He is also extremely adept at close quarter combat and very agile on the battlefield. But he lacks true superpowers that make a person akin to a Spider-Hero. What he does have is actually an ability that allows him to telepathically communicate with his horse called Widow. The spider that bit Patrick also bit his horse and since then, they have been able to talk to each other and understand each other without uttering a single word no matter how far they are from each other.

The Scorpion of this reality is a powerful enemy. But with Widow as his back up, there is nothing that this universe’s Spider-Man cannot handle. Patrick can summon Widow whenever he wants to and Widow is always ready to help her master at every beck and call. There are also several hilarious interactions between Miles Morales and Widow, who have seemingly become bitter-sweet rivals. But all in all, the fact that Marvel could think off of something like this is hilarious and ingenious at the same time.

Spider-Man could be removed from the MCU
