10 Most Powerful Warriors of The Inhuman Race – Ranked

The Inhuman Race:

As the Marvel Cinematic Universe gears up for introducing the X-Men as well as the Fantastic Four to the Marvel movies, one superhuman community that has not been as lucky as the former two are the Inhuman race. Sure they have had ample audience exposure in the small screens but not quite enough to push them into the big leagues.  We are talking about the Inhumans – the superhuman community that was the results of Kree experimentation on the human genome. The Inhumans live on the moon and rarely involve themselves in the matters of mankind unless a member of their community is involved.

The Inhuman Race

Over the years, the Inhumans have shown themselves to be able warriors who have a knack for destructive talents. Every time an Inhuman passes through Terrigenesis, they gain incredible superpowers. Considering the fact that Earth is now riddled with people with Inhuman DNA in their blood, they are about to make a huge mark in the future of humanity in the Marvel Comic Book Universe. It is about time we got to know about their heaviest of hitters. Presenting – 10 Most Powerful Warriors of the Inhuman race – Ranked!!

 10. Karnak

The Inhuman Race

We start off the list with Karnak – an Inhuman who was never exposed to the Terrigen Mists so he does not have super powers. Does that make him weak? Hell no!! Karnak’s parents trained him on a special form of martial arts that honed his skill to detect stress points in any object – living or non-living. By using simple punches and kicks on these “weakest links”, Karnak can take down any opponent. He is also very resistant to psychic attacks. If a telepath does not build enough mental blocks to keep him docile, Karnak has shown the ability to break through. Even Jean Grey, one of the most powerful telepaths of the Marvel Universe, could not take down Karnak using her telepathy.

 9. Reader

The Inhuman Race

Reader belongs to a tribe of Inhuman that stelled on Earth. After undergoing terrigenesis, Reader gained the ability to make whatever he read coming true. Fearing his godlike power, his own people gouged his eyes out, turning him blind. But Reader was a clever chap. He used braille to read. And can freeze, burn or do whatever the hell he wishes if he just found the right words. Reader’s ability allows him to re-write the entire timeline if he wishes but he can only do it three times a day.

 8. Gorgon

The Inhuman Race

His appearance is clearly inspired by that of the Satyr, a mythical half human half goat creature from Greek mythology. Gorgon may look like a Halfling but he is a full-on warrior. Gorgon’s horse hooves can create earthquakes if he stumps them hard enough on the ground. His ability has only grown stronger. Gorgon is extremely strong, even for an Inhuman. His hooves now have the ability to shatter a planet if need be. But Gorgon is on this list not just because of his strength but also his can-do attitude. Gorgon’s willpower is as famous as his strength. This guy does not know when to give up.

 7. Crystal

The Inhuman Race

Crystal’s ability allows her to control the elements. This means that she can control fire, earth, water and air. It is a psionic link to nature that allows her access to elemental manipulation. Crystal has even beaten Storm, on Omega level mutant who can also control forces of nature like her, in one on one combat. But overusing her powers makes her tired and can strain her body. Her only weakness means she cannot get higher on this list.

 6. Ahura

The Inhuman Race

The son of Medusa and Black Bolt and heir to the Inhuman throne, Ahura is a gifted Inhuman who started showing her superhuman powers even before he underwent Terrigenesis. He can fly and shoot beams of energy. He is also a telepath. Later, he even developed the ability to control minds and possess other people. Ahura has also developed an ability called the “Evil Eye” – if one looks directly at it, it is instant death. Ahura has frequent surges of insanity like his uncle Maximus. But with proper guidance and training, he could soon surpass his father.

 5. Maximus

The Inhuman Race

Maximus is Black Bolt’s brother and one of the most powerful telepaths in the Marvel Universe. Maximus’ power extends to personality manipulation and telepathic astral projection. His greatest5 feat is mental manipulation – changing and manipulating the memories of others. Maximus also has the ability to see the future. After an accident, Black Bolt’s scream led to Maximus losing his mental stability, which is why he is not higher up on the lost. But it also revealed one more power within Maximus – Black Bolt’s voice further boosts his powers.

 4. Quake

Quake’s real name is Daisy Johnson and he was popularised after the Agents of Shield TV show. Quake’s ability allows her to generate vibrations and control them. This means that she can not only create vibrations powerful enough to simulate an earth quake but also small enough to target a person’s heart, which she can then force to explode. Her most impressive feat was defeating Wolverine by using vibrations to make his heart collapse. He also took down Magneto by sending micro-vibrations into his brain, rendering him unconscious. Her training as an agent of Shield also gives her quite the tactical advantage in terms of close quarter combat and espionage.

 3. Jailer

The Inhuman Race

Jailer was deemed so dangerous that he was kept locked up in an Inhuman prison. He broke out and turned the tables on his captors, who were now his prisoners. His Inhuman superpower is psychic vampirism. This ability allows Jailer to feed on the mental energies of his victims. Jailer is not to be taken lightly. For years, he kept all the members of the Inhuman Royal Family imprisoned and fed off of their psychic auras. He was strong enough to even weaken Black Bolt, the King of the Inhumans. Most of the other Inhumans will never get as crafty and efficient as Jailer.

 2. Thane

The Inhuman Race

Thane is the son of Thanos and an Inhuman woman. All his life, he stayed hidden but when a prophecy foretold the end of Thanos by the hands of his own children, Thanos set out to murder all the blood he had sired over the years. His rampage stopped with Thane. When the Mad Titan encountered Thane, he used his ability to utterly destroy the purple megalomaniac. Thane’s left hand had the power to cease the existence of whichever object he touched. It is called the Death Touch. Thane’s right hand had the exact opposite ability. Called Amber Encasement, it allowed Thane to encase an object in an indestructible form of Amber, preserving them for all eternity in a comatose state. Thane even had access to Power Cosmic for a time and was even host to the Phoenix Force. At his prime, there was literally no one, not even Thanos that could stop him.

 1. Black Bolt

The Inhuman Race

Blackagar Boltagon underwent Terrigenesis when he was still in his mother’s womb. When Black Bolt was born, he developed a powerful ability thanks to the Terrigen Mists. Black Bolt’s sonic scream has the power to tear the space-time continuum. Mere words from his mouth can level mountains. Black Bolt rarely speaks because he realizes what he has is a dangerous ability. As a result, he holds himself back even while fighting enemies. But if the situation gets too dire, he does not shy away from using his greatest wild card. Black Bolt has fought against literally every major Marvel supervillain and many superheroes. When Vulcan, an Omega level mutant tried to make him bite the dust, Black Bolt screamed at him point blank. The scream was so powerful that Vulcan’s flesh was literally ripped out of his body. All Black Bolt did was whisper.
