Digital India- an initiative by Modi government to reduce paperwork in the government departments. It is a service that would abolish the tedious paperwork and make the facilities available to the citizens via the electronic media. It aims to connect the rural areas with high speed internet facility.
Three core components of the programs are, creation of digital infrastructure, delivering services digitally and digital literacy. This would help India in the shoulder to shoulder progressive walk with other nations.
