7 Tips For Men’s Healthy Skin

You must be thinking that these “beauty exercises” are just for the ladies and why a man needs to do this. Well, in today’s world, it is necessary. Dust, the sun, and other factors have made it important for men as well to take care of their skin. Even men dream of a beautiful skin and there is no wrong in getting a facial for a man! People have adopted this and now it is time for you too.

Here is a list of things you need to do for a healthy skin:

1. Face wash

No! Just no! You have to stop washing your face with a soap and switch to a face wash. Also, buy a face wash according to your skin type. If you have a mixed type of skin (sometimes dry and sometimes oily), you can go for a normal face wash. Use the face wash twice a day. Once, before you go out in the morning and then before you go to bed in the night.

2. Scrub

 

Yes, you do need a scrub! Scrubbing removes the dirt from the pores and opens these pores. Scrubbing is an essential part of maintaining a healthy skin regime and you should follow it. Again, get a scrub according to your skin type. There is some face wash, which comes with scrub. You can buy them as well. Use it daily or at least two to three times a week.

3. Moisturize

You should ideally moisturize your skin more than twice a day. However, because of the busy schedule, you are allowed to keep the count as two. But not less than that. Get a good moisturising cream. Choose a cream which also has SPF in it so that it protects you from the sun. Nowadays many creams are a combination of moisturisers and sunscreens. You can choose to buy them or can buy individually and apply.

4. Eat

You are what you eat, as they say. Well, it is quite true. The things you eat and your routine well reflects on your skin and especially on your face. If you do not have a flawless skin, there is surely something wrong with what and when of your diet. Add green vegetables, fruits and nuts in your daily diet to get a healthy and shiny skin.

5. Drink

Yes, you have heard it for zillion times and now you hear it again. Drink water! Drinking water removes all the toxins from your body and hence makes your skin flawless. Try to make a schedule of drinking water and follow it. You will be happy with the results. Drink as much water as you can. Ideally at least 3 litres. You can also drink green tea, which also helps you in making your skin amazing.

6. Sleep

A sound sleep is quite essential for you to get a healthy skin. Your under eyes speaks volume about your sleep regime. Ideally, your body should rest for 7 hours (not more, not less). This will internally repair your skin and make it flawless. Brownie points for your skin if you follow the “early-to-bed-and-early-to-rise” schedule.

7. Exercise

Too lazy to get up and exercise? Well, now you have a reason! You sweat when you exercise which open the pores of your skin and removes toxins. You can choose to jog, run, gym or do any kind of physical activity which can make you sweat.

Follow these points religiously, and it will do the trick. These seven things will do wonders to your skin and you will love it!
