New DC FanDome Trailer Reveals First Black Adam Footage, Peacemaker, and More

The much-awaited DC event is back again this year and we have received another trailer for the event. Considering everything that we are going to get in the upcoming few days this is the most awaited event for the first look at everything. Some of the projects that were supposed to be coming out this year got delayed and are not supposed to be in their completion. This means that we might be getting full trailers and teasers at some of these projects. Let’s take a look at everything that the trailer had to offer for us. The trailer gave us some of the most amazing teasers which also included the first Black Adam footage, and the first look at Vigilante from Peacemaker.

DC FanDome Trailer

The DC FanDome Event started last year as a free online stream for people to watch and gather updates regarding DC. This was done because the COVID-19 pandemic prevents large crowds from gathering in convention-like events. Last year’s event was a massive success and it gave us some of the best moments in DC updates. We found out more about Zack Snyder’s Justice League with a poster reveal and a trailer. This was revealed by Zack Snyder himself in the presence of some of the cast of the film. Another big reveal was the cast of James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad with a fun trailer that glanced at character reveals and the actors portraying them. These two ended up being two of the most successful DC releases of 2021.

First Black Adam Footage, Peacemaker, Vigilante & More

The second teaser trailer for the event was just revealed and it featured some of the greatest teasers for the DC projects that we are going to get. This means that event will actually feature clips and trailers from the movies as well. One of the most exciting projects supposed to come out early 2022 is the Peacemaker spinoff series. The series was given a small teaser recently that got us a tiny taste of what we are going to expect from the James Gunn feature. But the FanDome trailer gave us a first look at Vigilante who will be seen alongside John Cena’s Peacemaker in the series. Vigilante will be played by Bridgerton star Freddie Stroma, who replaced Chris Conrad. The two characters could be seen target practicing and then high-fiving each other in the clip.

Another interesting moment was the one-second clip from Black Adam that saw some lightning and Dwayne Johnson’s titular character brooding at it. Black Adam was given a graphic trailer last year where we got to see the narrative that it will explore. It also introduced us to the other characters like Hawkman, Doctor Fate, and Atom Smasher who will be appearing in the movie. Pierce Brosnan who is supposed to play Doctor Fate was also in the teaser and this means that we might actually get some insight into his character at the event.

Other teases at the event included some clips from the DC shows like Titans, CW’s Superman and Lois, Supergirl, and Doom Patrol. Added to these were clips from the upcoming DC games Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League. Another cool addition to these was the hint at an extended fight sequence between Catwoman, played by Zoë Kravitz, and Batman, played by Robert Pattinson from The Batman. This fight sequence will actually be present in the new trailer that will be released on October 16.

When Will The Event Go Live?

This year we will get to witness the event on October 16 at 10 AM PST. This will be preceded by the DC Kids FanDome which will be taking place around 9 AM. The latter will be co-hosted by Nandi Bushell and it will feature some of the greatest reveals from the DC animation world. Some of these reveals might include updates regarding the projects like Batwheels and Teen Titans Go!. Around 90 stars from all across the world of DC are set to be present at the event. Some of these stars include A-listers like Zachary Levi, J. J. Abrams, James Gunn, and Lynda Carter. The attendees of this year’s FanDome will also get NFT comic cover collectibles curated by the legendary artist Jim Lee.

Last year’s DC FanDome event took place at a time when there was no idea regarding the release or the starting of most of the projects. This was because the pandemic was at its peak. But this year most of these projects are prepared and are all set to come out soon without many delays. This only gives us a hint at how exciting the event is going to get with all these projects to look out for from all across the vast world of DC.
