All New DC Trailers We Should Be Excited To See At DC FanDome

The entertainment world is still at its best trying to recoup the losses it faces last year due to Covid 19. While some of the projects were released online for the audience to enjoy the safety of their houses. Others decided to postpone these projects for much safer times. This year seems like a much safer time for the projects to be released as much more option is available for the viewers to attend the cinema halls. While Marvel has launched a new wave of projects with the TV shows on their Disney Plus streaming service, DC isn’t holding back. DC is returning with its virtual fan event that they started last year, DC FanDome. Let’s take a look at all New DC Trailers that we should be excited to see at this years’ DC FanDome:

Upcoming New DC Trailers

The Batman

Matt Reeves has everyone hyped regarding this project considering the previous trailer has already gotten us excited about this new world. The noir style for the movie is something that has not been explored in previous Batman interpretations yet. Last year we got to see Colin Farrell as The Penguin looking completely different. Some of the lucky fans got to see some of the other footage from the movie from the CinemaCon earlier this year. This just clarifies that we will indeed get to see some sort of new trailer for the movie at the DC FanDome this year. The Batman will be released on March 4, 2022.

Black Adam

Last year we were given a glance at this project with a history of the character and all the other possible heroes who will be appearing in the movie. Johnson had hinted that the movie might have an appearance by Superman himself. He was quoted as saying, “The hierarchy of power in the DC Universe is about to change.” This could be a threat to all those in the Justice League. The movie will also feature Aldish Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Albert Rothstein aka Atom Smasher, and Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate. Compared to last year, let’s hope we get to see a proper trailer this time with a release date set for July 29, 2022.

The Flash

New DC Trailers

Ezra Miller will be back portraying his Flash in the DCEU. He was last seen in Zack Snyder’s Justice LeagueThe ending for the movie suggested what possible limits his powers could go to. This project suffered a lot of issues with multiple directors coming and going. The plot will be similar to the storyline of 2011’s Flashpoint event comic book series. Andy Muschietti signed on as the finalized director of the movie. On-set photos have revealed the Michael Keaton returning as Bruce Wayne as this might also be DCEU’s version of exploring all the different dimensions. The movie is set to release on November 4, 2022.

Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom

James Wan will be returning to direct the sequel to 2018’s hit Aquaman. David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick, who co-wrote the first film, will be writing the follow-up. Warner Bros. had scheduled it for a 2022 release around February last year. It was made aware last year only that even Ocean Master would be returning in his role from the first film as played by Patrick Wilson. It is set for a 2022 holiday release.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods

Due to the DC FanDome events of last year, we were able to find that the sequel will be titled Fury of the Gods. This is one of the only confirmed projects for the year 2023 from DCEU. Amongst new additions, Lucy Liu was confirmed to appear as Kalypso in the sequel. Mark Strong has confirmed that Dr. Sivana will not be returning for the sequel. This is exciting as the previous movie was one of the most successful DCEU solo ventures.

Peacemaker

Following the success of James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad, we are excited to see how his Peacemaker spinoff show fares with the audience. While James Gunn was able to ensure that he could deal with multiple characters. Peacemaker was the only character who was given very little to think about and that helped with the twist in the end where we got to know about his persona. Robert Patrick is an addition to the cast and is apparently playing his Peacemaker’s father. With a release scheduled for January 2022 on the HBO Max series, it’s about time we got a first look at the series.

Doom Patrol Season 3

Doom Patrol is one of the most beloved series that has come from the DC. The characters comprise a different world of looking at the DC world. It was recently revealed that Michelle Gomez has been cast as Madame Rouge for the third season. The plot goes such that she arrives at the Doom Manor and yet she couldn’t remember her motivations for doing so. Other characters we are going to see included the freshly cast Brotherhood of Dada and Deadboy Detectives. The third season for the series will be premiering on September 23.

DC League of Super-Pets

New DC Trailers

This animated movie will deal with all the Justice League’s four-legged friends coming together to the big screen for the first time. Dwayne Johnson who will also be playing Black Adam will be seen voicing Krypto for this movie. Other actors include Kevin Hart, Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Diego Luna, Natasha Lyonne, and Keanu Reeves. Johnson’s production company Seven Bucks will also be producing the movie.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

DC has seen massive success in the gaming world with the Arkham games. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be the first game by Rocksteady set within the Arkhamverse outside of the main series. As from the trailer, this game could really set itself apart from the other Arkham trilogy which is known for its massive critical success in comic book game design.

Other Possible Trailers

There are a lot of other projects with release dates yet to be announced. There is a chance we might get some glance and details about these projects in the FanDome event. Among these are movies like Batgirl, Blue Beetle, Wonder Woman 3, Green Lanter Corps. While these movies will be a part of the DCEU itself and probably feature characters from the previous DCEU movies. The Joker sequel was also confirmed recently with Todd Phillips returning to write the project. Any possible detail regarding these projects could be released in the DC FanDome. And we should get trailers for Supergirl, Batwoman, the Gotham Knights game, and other projects.
