8 Questions That Must Be Answered In Daredevil Season 4 (If MCU Does It)
There are major hints to the fact that some of the major characters from the Netflix original Marvel show Daredevil might join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Charlie Cox has been rumored to be appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home reprising his role as Matt Murdock. He might be representing Peter Parker in the court as the latter faces charges for the death of Mysterio. Wilson Fisk, played by Vincent D’Onofrio, is also set to appear in the upcoming Disney+ Hawkeye series and also might continue by appearing in the Echo series. There’s also a major chance of him appearing in the She-Hulk series. While none of this is actually confirmed by Marvel yet, but this gives us a possibility to wonder that this all could lead to one more season of the Daredevil series. If we do get to see an MCU-based season of Daredevil, then here are the questions that must be answered in Daredevil Season 4.
Did The Snap Affect Anyone In The Daredevil Cast?
The effects of the snap have been a prime concern ever since the events of Avengers: Infinity War. Since the events of the Netflix series have referred to the events that have transpired in the MCU with intelligent nods. This clearly makes us wonder what could have happened to the characters of the series so that we can found out what they have been up to during the five-year blip.
Did The Much Talked Law Firm Plan Get Through?
We got to see the trio of Matt Murdock, Foggy Nelson, and Karen Page unite at the ending of Season 3. They hadn’t worked together since the events of Season 2 when the original law firm Nelson & Murdock had collapsed. Foggy mentions that they get back at it again as Nelson, Murdock & Page, with the latter being the investigator and the rest being the legal team. We are yet to see if this plan did come to fruition.
Did Kinping Return To His Position In Hell’s Kitchen?
Wilson Fisk was under arrest by the FBI at the ending of Season 3. Fisk used his mob informant reputation to leverage the Feds and this only gave him more and more power. He even used Bullseye and his own personal assassin. It would be rather interesting to see if Fisk has been able to establish himself back in New York City as the Kingpin of Crime.
Was Daredevil’s Identity Revealed By Fisk Yet?
One of the most interesting moments in the Season 3 of the series has to be when Kingpin learns of Daredevil’s true identity. They both end up making a deal that Matt would spare Vanessa’s life as long as Fisk never reveals Matt’s secret identity. The problem here is that this could help us explore whether Bullseye used this info as power in the possible future of the series.
Has Bullseye Recovered?
Bullseye is quite an interesting character with exceptional marksman skills and having the ability to use anything around him as a lethal weapon. The last we got to see of him was the sight of him having shattered his spine and his right eyeball taking the shape of a bullseye. It would be rather interesting to see him make a comeback if we get a chance to see a season 4 for Daredevil.
What Happened To Elektra?
It was assumed the Elektra Natchios had died when the Midland Circle building had collapsed on both her Daredevil. But we find that Matt Murdock had survived this and this means that there’s a fair chance that Elektra could have survived too. This is not new for her character considering her character has died before. It would be interesting to see more of her and her relationship with Matt Murdock.
What About The Other Defenders?
The series was part of the shared universe of Netflix Marvel shows and they all teamed up in The Defenders miniseries. We don’t know much about what happened to the rest of the Defenders. With the ending of each of their shows, we found that Luke Cage had become the crime lord of Harlem while Iron Fist traveled the world with Ward Meachum since Colleen Wing became the new Iron Fist. Jessica Jones decided to remain a private investigator for the time being.
What Happened Between Fisk And Vanessa?
One of the most essential parts of the narratives of Fisk’s character is that he clearly loves Vanessa. They got separated right after their marriage as they were both arrested by the FBI. It would be important to see if this villain duo was able to get back together.
So these are all the questions that must be answered in Daredevil season 4, if it happens on Disney+.
