Carnage vs Anti-Venom: A Battle That Will go Down to The Wire!

The symbiotes are a strange race. They need a host to survive and give birth to their spawns. But the moment the spawns come out, the parent symbiote moves heaven and hell to kill its own children. The Venom symbiote has given birth to many spawns. The most popular amongst them is Carnage, the psychopath symbiote. The other lesser known but equally powerful spawn is the Anti-Venom symbiote. Both possess varying capabilities that are too unique to count. One is an agent of chaos. The other is a master of the order. What happens when the good guy symbiote and the bad guy symbiote decide to lock horns? Presenting – Carnage vs Anti-Venom– A battle that will go down to the wire!!!

Carnage

Carnage vs Anti-Venom

Cletus Kasady is Carnage, a serial killer that possesses the power of Spider-Man and the Venom symbiote as well as his own set of distinct powers. Carnage is well known for his sociopathic streaks that lead to massive death and destruction in its wake. The Carnage symbiote gives Cletus the ability to cling to walls, shoot webbings out of his suit which could also double up to form weapons. Carnage is completely immune to the Spider-Sense and possesses mild telepathic resistance.

Carnage vs Anti-Venom

Carnage can also create powerful tendrils out of his suit that can hold and even crush his enemies. Let us not forget that massive razor-sharp jawline that is strong enough to bite an Asgardian’s arm off, which I saying something. Carnage also has a highly unusual fighting style which combined with his acrobatic skills, makes him extremely dangerous and unpredictable in close quarter combat.

Anti-Venom

Carnage vs Anti-Venom

The Anti-Venom was formed out of the remnants of the Venom symbiote still in Eddie Brock’s body combining with his white blood cells. The end result was a completely new and artificially created symbiote that has a very unique origin. The Anti-venom symbiote possesses the standard wall-crawling powers, web projection, ability to form weapons out of his suit, genetic memory retention and immunity from the Spider-Sense. It also gives its host superhuman physical attributes.

Carnage vs Anti-Venom

The Anti-Venom symbiote is not vulnerable to heat and sound like the other symbiotes and is a natural repellent for other symbiotes. Anti-Venom also has healing powers which he can use to heal himself as well as his allies around him. It also possesses the power to cancel out Spider-Man’s powers.

Final Fight – Carnage vs Anti-Venom

Carnage vs Anti-Venom

The symbiotes never trust each other. It is the reason they are constantly fighting one another in the Marvel Universe. The Anti-Venom’s sole purpose in life is to fight the other symbiotes. Carnage is a crazy beast that will fight anyone he sees as a threat. Anti-Venom and Carnage are sworn enemies by blood and trade. Once they meet each other, there is no stopping these two from trying to make the other meet its maker. This fight does not even need a scenario. Let us just cut down to the chase and bring the two down to the battlefield.

So who will win between the two??

Carnage vs Anti-Venom

It is….Anti-Venom!!! Carnage loses this one solely on the fact that Anti-Venom is genetically armed to kill the other symbiotes. Carnage cannot even touch him, literally and figuratively. The moment Carnage touches Anti-Venom, the former will feel an acidic sensation that will put him back and considerably harm him.

Carnage vs Anti-Venom

Anti-Venom is faster, stronger and smarter than Carnage as well. As much as we would like Carnage to win, in this fight, there is just no way a victory for him is possible. Anti-Venom takes this fight.

Carnage vs Anti-Venom

Carnage appeared in the post-credits scene of Venom. The Venom movie is already in theatres. The official film synopsis for the movie read:

Journalist Eddie Brock is trying to take down Carlton Drake, the notorious and brilliant founder of the Life Foundation. While investigating one of Drake’s experiments, Eddie’s body merges with the alien Venom — leaving him with superhuman strength and power. Twisted, dark and fueled by rage, Venom tries to control the new and dangerous abilities that Eddie finds so intoxicating.
