The Marvel Cinematic Universe has successfully put out 20 movies now, and all have them have been successful amongst the critics and at the box office alike, maintaining a 0% failure record for Marvel. Being successful at the Box Office is one thing but pleasing the critics is a whole new matter which is not possible to do with every movie. While the DCEU has mostly failed with the critics, MCU has had successful reviews for all its 20 movies and that is something really remarkable to achieve. Here are all MCU movies ranked according to their Rotten Tomatoes score from lowest to the highest.
Thor: The Dark World
The second Thor movie is considered to be the weakest movie in the MCU and the Rotten Tomatoes score for the film proves exactly that. It could not be certified fresh as it got a score of 66% on RT. So even the least rating for an MCU movie is considered decent. Thor 2 got in $644 Million at a production budget of $170 Million.
The Incredible Hulk
The only Hulk solo movie in the MCU was pretty decent when it comes to being rated as a solo movie not being compared with others. That is why it managed to get a score of 67% on RT, but it was the lowest grossing MCU movie, bringing in just $263 Million at a production budget of $150 Million.
Iron Man 2
The sequel to the amazing Iron Man film diminished the standard of the movie a little but it was still amazing nonetheless. Iron Man 2 managed to score 73% on RT, and it also made much more money than the first one, grossing a handsome $623 Million at a budget of $200 Million.
Avengers: Age of Ultron
This follow up went down a similar path that Iron Man 2 did and that is why not all the critics loved the sequel as much as they loved the original. Age of Ultron has been given a 75% score on RT according to the consensus of all the critics. It was still the third highest grossing MCU movie bringing in $1.4 Billion worldwide at a production budget of $250 Million.
Thor
The first Thor movie was probably the weakest origin story for an Avenger, but it was still certified fresh and got a general rating of 77% by the critics on RT. It made a good $449 Million worldwide at a budget of $150 Million.
Captain America: The First Avenger
The first Captain America movie was surely inspiring, and it was also certified fresh with a hefty rating of 79% on RT. It fell a little low at the Box Office, but the other two Captain America movies made up for that. It brought in $370 Million on a budget of $140 Million.
Iron Man 3
Iron Man 3 packed a twist that comic book fans did not actually like so it became a big deal among them. But the critics, on the other hand, had a different spin on the movie as they rated it at 80% on RT. This score did not matter at the Box Office as Iron Man 3 earned $1.2 Billion at a production budget of $200 Million.
Ant-Man
This movie was as good an origin story as any Superhero could get. Ant-Man was amongst the C-List characters from the Marvel comics, but after being launched through this movie, he became a household name. The critics also like the movie as they rated it at 82% on RT and it was also successful at the Box Office earning $519 Million worldwide at a production budget of just $130 million.
Avengers: Infinity War
It is the biggest movie Marvel has ever produced as the scope, scale and plot of the movie was bigger than any other MCU movie. It brought in the most number of characters and intertwined them in the plot in the best way possible. Because there was so much going on in the movie, it was bound to get a lower score on RT as compared to the best movies of the MCU. It still managed to score big by being rated at 83% on RT. This did not matter at the Box Office as the movie managed to gross over $2 Billion worldwide.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
The second movie in this franchise was not as great as the first one, but it still managed to impress many of the critics and got a score of 83% on RT. It was bigger at the Box Office than the first one managing to bring in $863 Million at a production budget of $200 Million.
Ant-Man and the Wasp
The sequel to the first Ant-Man movie portrays two tiny heroes instead of one, and they have actually managed to bring in the biggest approval of the critics. The movie is rated at 86% on RT and is considered to be the best sequel since Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The worldwide Box Office gross stands at $161 Million.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
The sequel to Captain America: The First Avenger is actually considered to be the best movie of the MCU. It was a political thriller which played with a real-life scenario. It had a thrilling plot and the critics also liked this movie to its fullest, rating it at 89% on RT. It was successful at the Box Office as well, grossing $714 Million at the worldwide Box Office at a production budget of $170 Million.
Doctor Strange
Another successful origin story of Marvel is Doctor Strange, which introduced us to the Mystical side of the MCU. It got a score of 89% on RT and also grossed a hefty $677 Million at a budget of $165 Million.
Captain America: Civil War
Civil War was another great movie in the Captain America trilogy and it was the first MCU movie to portray the most number of Superheroes within one movie. It got a very high rating of 91% at the RT and it also grossed the big money by bringing in $1.15 Billion worldwide at a production budget of $250 Million.
Guardians of the Galaxy

Thor: Ragnarok
The third movie in the Thor franchise completely shifted things for good. It was surely the funniest MCU movie, and the critics were also in favour of what Taika Waititi did with the film. It has a score of 92% on RT and grossed the big bucks bringing in over $851 Million.
The Avengers
The first Avengers movie completely changed Hollywood as it was the first ever Team Up Superhero movie in the MCU, which actually set a very high standard left to be beaten by other movies. It got a very high 92% rating when the consensus of the critics was summarised on RT, and it also managed to gross a huge sum of $1.5 Billion at a production budget of $220 Million.
Iron Man
