Things to watch out for in the Pakistan vs England T20 series

Pakistan won the test series 2-0 courtesy of some brilliant performances from the seniors with the bat and great bowling by Yasir Shah especially. England clinched away the ODI series 3-1. Although Pakistan started on a high by winning the first  one day but after that three poor performances on the trot just gave away the series to England. Taking nothing away from England as some great fast bowling performances were seen and scintillating knocks with the bat by Root, Hales, Roy and obviously Jos Butler. Now the T20 series is about to start and here are the things to watch out for.

The decider for the winner of the whole tour:

As you all know Pakistan won the test series 2-0 and England won the ODI series 3-1. Yes, T20 is all a different format and it will be a whole new contest but there will be a virtual contest of as to who will have the last smile of the tour. A total of three T20 matches are going to be played and whoever wins two of them  gets the series. Everyone will although want a decider in the third match to have a fun filled series.
England’s new look aggressive team:

After a humiliating show in the world cup 2015 as they were knocked out in the group stages quickly. After that England made a lot of changes to its respective teams for different formats. The change of bringing in some young blood was a visible one but one more thing that they changed was their mindset. They have become a lot more aggressive and decisive. England after then has looked a completely new team which produced results too. It is a joy to watch them play now. Their matches are 100 times more entertaining now.
Youngsters of Pakistan under Afridi:

Well not only England but Pakistan also brought in quite a few youngsters to the T20 team and with Afridi being the captain one is always sure of entertaining and thrilling matches. You get to see new players getting chances in every T20 match that they play. Then you get BOOM BOOM in the order who comes in smashes them ‘Straight Outta Ground’ and well of course returns back to the dressing room. Surely this brings a lot of joy to the viewers and the crowd watching. In the end how can we forget the thriller that Anwar Ali played against Sri Lanka in the summer earlier.
Players to watch out for from England:

From the English side the two players to watch out for are Joe Root and Alex Hales. Joe Root obviously is England’s go to batsman who just carries their whole innings and gives them the acceleration needed in the death overs. Alex Hales is a threat. If he is in the team then the danger signs are on for the opposition. Alex Hales is currently placed at number three in the world T20 batsmen rankings. He is only behind Aaron Finch and Virat Kohli and the three of them are separated by about 15 points only. Watch out for Hales and also the English seamer Reece Topley who bowls really well as from what has been seen from him in the recent past. Morgan can be pretty destructive in the last five overs too with those big humungous hits.
Players to watch out for from Pakistan:

The first player from whom everyone will have a great deal of expectation is BOOM BOOM. Well that is obvious. Afridi is dangerous with the bat when it is his day. Then the man who recently gave Pakistan an unbelievable victory against Sri Lanka in the last T20 match of the series. It was Sri Lanka’s match till the very end but then Anwar Ali happened and Pakistan won it amazingly. Anwar is surely one player to watch out for with both the bat and the ball. Keep an eye on Wahab Riaz. He can take away the game with an awesome fiery fast bowling spell and dominate the opposition with only his sledging. Hafeez and Shoaib Malik are on the loose too coming in with good form. They can score pretty quickly, run quick between the wickets and hit the maximums too.

It promises to be an enthralling series. Don’t miss it out.
