No one can deny the benefits of a healthy diet, and the ultimate benefits that come from a flat belly! But somehow, we get lost at this point, or perhaps lose motivation in between.

It’s easy to start a diet, but rather hard to stay affixed on it for the required time duration. So why not try your favorite celebrity’s diet? Beyonce is rocking it since her first single came out…why can’t we give it a try? Go ahead and read about the diets yourself!

Fair warning: These are extreme detox diets which might prove to be harmful for yourself; if followed without consulting a dietician.



For her role in the movie Dreamgirls, Beyonce has followed the Master Cleanse Diet which helped her lose 20 pounds in less than 15 days!

The Lemonade Diet, also called the Master Cleanse, is a liquid-only diet consisting of three things: a lemonade-like beverage, salt-water drink, and herbal laxative tea.


It works because you’re consuming less calories, hence, you’ll probably lose weight. You’ll also be losing muscle, bone, and water.

You’re only allowed a salt-water drink, a “lemonade,” and an herbal laxative tea for the first 10 days. You can’t have any solid food, and you can’t drink alcohol.

For lasting change, you’re better off eating a healthy diet of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy, and lean proteins like fish, skinless chicken or turkey, and healthy fats like olive oil

An apple cider vinegar diet will provide you the right way to go about it.  A three day detoxing diet is a fantastic way to quickly clean out your system without committing to a long term diet change.

The overall plan is enormously simple and very easy to execute. There are several styles of this diet and it’s up to you to choose the one that suits your tastes and way of living. However, you must stick to the exact diet; otherwise your detoxification process will be spoiled.

While this cleanse might help you lose a few pounds, this isn’t a healthy long-term diet plan.

There are three Cooler Cleanse plans you can choose from. These juices will make you feel lighter, cleaner and more energized. However the weight loss doesn’t last and may incite a food fest once it is complete.



Gwyneth Paltrow strictly follows the diet as given by Dr. Alejandro’s Junglers’ Clean Program. Clean actually allows you to eat focusing on foods that are plant-based, whole and organic.

This 3-week detox program is designed to ease digestion by providing two liquid meals a day and a solid one in between, eliminating allergenic and mucus-forming food, which frees up even more energy. In addition, yoga, breath work, exercise and the daily ingestion of olive oil to maintain the health of the liver is also recommended.

This diet has a well organized and a structured plan which will ensure weight loss. It includes exercises and helps to improve digestion. However, the regular consumption of oil is not appealing and there are several food restrictions for the same.


Lastly, we have Anne Hathaway! She is also known to follow her trainer’s David Kirsch’s 48 hour detox diet effectively.
The DK Lemon Aid 48 Hour Detox Diet is a short-term, cleansing diet that is similar to a juice fast in many ways. While you are following the diet, your sole source of energy and nutrients is lemon, purified water, maple syrup, and cayenne pepper. The goal of the diet is to rest the digestive tract, cleanse the system of impurities, mobilize and eliminate toxins stored in various areas of the body, and burn excess fat stores.
It is easier to follow, as it a 48 hours long cleansing diet. However, weight loss is not guaranteed.
