OnePlus 2 with Hydrogen OS: Coming Soon!
OnePlus One, the flagship killer which launched last year is finally getting a successor which the company calls ‘OnePlus Two’. OnePlus confirmed the name when they launched the Photo Mania contest on their forum. We were expecting the phone to launch in the third quarter of 2015, but recently the Chinese website, MyDrivers.com the phone will be launched in the coming few weeks. The publication reports that the OnePlus 2 will be launched at a conference that the company will hold next month. This definitely adds to the excitement of millions of Android smartphone lovers, seeing OnePlus’ next flagship device running on Hydrogen OS (Oxygen OS in India).
The publication not only reveals the launch date of the OnePlus 2 but also adds that the starting price of the device will be somewhere around 1,999 Yuan (approximately Rs. 20,644). This news is a little tough to digest since the company is less likely to come up with their new device at a price less than what their previous device was priced at. We believe, that the device will be priced somewhere around Rs. 25,000 (~ $390). In a Twitter conversation, Carl Pei OnePlus Co-founder called $400 to be reasonable enough for a device with Snapdragon 810.
If the OnePlus 2 comes with the @Snapdragon 810, how much should we charge for it?

Talking about the specifications, the device is obviously going to powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 and is expected to flaunt a full-HD 5.5-inch display (1920×1080 pixels). It is also rumoured to come with 3GB of RAM, an Adreno 430 GPU and will be running on the Android Lollipop v5.1 topped with their new Hydrogen OS (Oxygen OS in India). It will be exciting to see how the company comes up with the pricing of their upcoming device. While we are producing news for you to read, do let us know what are your expectations from the new OnePlus 2.
