Ever since the beginning of MCU, almost every movie has had post-credit scenes that provided us some important details or quite simply give us something more than the movie did. Fans often wait for the end-credit scenes more than the movie itself as it could include a massive cameo by some future hero. Let’s take a look at some of the most crucial post-credit scenes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
We are given our first glance at Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch in the prisons of Hydra. This was rather important considering Wanda ends up being one of the major characters in the future of MCU. She might be responsible for the way the future of the MCU works out.
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2
This post-credits scene gave us a glance at something and it was completely left unexplored in future projects. Black Panther
T’Challa reveals the truth about Wakanda’s resources to the world and it is rather clear that this will have major implications in the world. This was something that was hinted at from the very starting of the movie. The clear implications that it ended up having will probably get explored in the upcoming sequel to the movie as well as the Disney Plus series World Of Wakanda.
Spider-Man: Far From Home
This has to be one of the major cliffhangers we have seen in the MCU movies. In this particular post-credits scene we see Spider-Man’s identity being revealed to the whole world by J. K. Simmons as a version of J. Jonah Jameson. He also claimed that Spider-Man is responsible for the death of Electro.
The Avengers
This post-credits scene gave us a look at the prime antagonist of the entirety of the Infinity Saga. Fans got to see him and it was rather unexpected considering the Avengers had just formed and the MCU was still laying its bricks. This tease kept us excited and hopeful about all that’s yet to come in this franchise.

Wong discovers that the Ten Rings are trying to send a beacon to its original owner and this very well might indicate what we might get to witness in the next big MCU event.
WandaVision
This year we got to see the very first series from MCU that showed us the aftermath of Vision’s death and the implications it had on the character of Wanda. The post-credits scene in this series gives us a glance at Wanda in her Scarlet Witch form expanding her powers by learning the secrets of The Darkhold. But around the end, we hear the voices of her children which is awry considering the latter characters were mere projections she had build using her magical ability. There is a chance that this is a hint to the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
