10 Fantastic Four Team Ups From The Comics We’d Like To See In MCU

Marvel Studios have acquired the rights to Fantastic Four characters after Disney merged with 20th Century Fox. After the 2015 reboot failed, Fantastic Four is now getting a new reboot. Jon Watts will helm the new reboot. Various theories are being provided by the fans regarding the new reboot. For now, it can be said that the new reboot will focus on the origin of the characters. There is a possibility that the Fantastic Four might team up with MCU characters in certain sequels and spin-offs. So, here are all the Fantastic Four team-ups from the comics that we’d like to see in the MCU.

1. Namor the Sub-Mariner

Namor the Sub-Mariner can be compared with DC’s Aquaman. Somewhere, the character is similar to Aquaman. MCU has a very good chance here to provide competition to DCEU’s Aquaman and its sequel. Namor the Sub-Mariner is also the ruler of Atlantis. He also fights crimes underwater. In the comics, he teams up with the Fantastic Four and also flirts with Sue Storm. A love triangle was seen in the 2015 reboot between Reed, Sue, and Doctor Doom but Namor was not there.

2. Daredevil

Daredevil aired for three seasons on Netflix. The series also received a positive response from critics and audiences. But the series was later canceled by Netflix for unknown reasons. Now reports say that Marvel’s Netflix characters will be seen in reboots developed by Disney+. So we might get to see Charlie Cox reprising his role as Daredevil. Daredevil has teamed up with Fantastic Four multiple times in the comics. The same will be great to be seen in a movie.

3. Luke Cage

Luke Cage was highly successful in the first two seasons. A third season was planned but canceled because of creative differences. Now it is important that Kevin Feige must do something about Marvel’s Netflix characters since they have a huge fan base. Moreover, their arcs were not properly concluded in the series. So in case if Luke Cage gets a reboot, there is a possibility that he might team up with the Fantastic Four. Even according to the comics, Reed Richards hired Cage to replace The Thing when The Thing lost his powers.

4. Agatha Harkness

The character of Agatha Harkness made her debut in Disney+’s WandaVision. Her backstory was properly revealed in the series. But there are still a lot of things left to be explored. Moreover, the character was not killed in the series. So for sure, she will make her comeback at a point in time. Now MCU fans would love to see her teaming up with the Fantastic Four. She has a role in the comic book storyline of Fantastic Four where she is hired to look after Reed Richards and Sue Storm’s son, Franklin.

5. Spider-Man

We have seen Peter Parker teaming up with the Avengers in Avengers: Infinity War. Now the character has also a part in the storyline of Fantastic Four. This has happened multiple times. He has been almost close to becoming the fifth member of the team. He has a hilarious dynamic with every member of the team, and especially with Johnny Storm. Since Jon Watts will take the director’s chair in the Fantastic Four reboot, there is a possibility that we might get to see a scene where Spider-Man teams up with Fantastic Four to take down an enemy.

6. Ant-Man

A lot of details about the Fantastic Four reboot have not been revealed. Along with the release date, it is unknown when and where the reboot will take place. In case the film decides to explore the storylines of the oldest and the most experienced MCU heroes, it might be set during the 1960s. Ant-Man has teamed up with Fantastic Four in the comics. Reed Richards and Hank Pym were colleagues in their heyday. Later, Scott Lang became the team’s technical advisor when Reed Richards was presumed to be dead.

7. Thor

After one standalone movie, Thor teamed up with the Avengers in 2012. He was then seen in a few more MCU movies. The fourth installment of the Thor franchise might see an end to Chris Hemsworth appearing as Thor. He was found by the Guardians in Avengers: Infinity War. Now there is a possibility that we might get to see them together in a spin-off. Now since Thor shares good chemistry with the people he teams up with, so it will be great to see him and Fantastic Four together in one movie.

8. Silver Surfer

Fantastic Four Team Ups

Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer have teamed up on the big screen a long time back. This happened in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. But the film was disappointing because of its lackluster script and depiction of Galactus as a gas cloud. Now since Kevin Feige is the producer of the Fantastic Four reboot, we might get to see Silver Surfer and Fantastic Four teaming up together in a brand new form. Let’s just expect that the team up remains faithful to the source material.

9. She-Hulk

She-Hulk is finally getting her own standalone series on Disney+. She is a lawyer who represents superheroes at the court. Her real name is Jen Walter and she is Bruce Banner’s cousin. Now there is a lot of potentials for this character to appear in various other MCU projects. The character also joined the Fantastic Four in the comics. This happens after the event of Secret Wars that leaves Ben Grimm trapped on Battleworld. The character of She-Hulk will be played by Tatiana Maslany.

10. Storm

After the merger between Disney and 20th Century Fox, Marvel Studios also acquired the rights to X-Men characters. The next movie after The Dark Phoenix has not been announced yet. Along with this, the trilogy of The New Mutants was also canceled. The first film was also a box office disappointment. But still, because of the merger, chances are high that we might get to see X-Men and the Fantastic Four in one movie. Storm, who is a member of X-Men, joined the Fantastic Four after Sue decided to take a break following the devastating events of the Civil War.
