Celebrities are no immune to fights and politics amongst themselves in the industry. A single dramatic feud always ends up being spicy news for the media and fans. They end up breaking the headlines and are sometimes talked about for many years. Hollywood has various shades of glitz and glamor, drama, jealousy, and fights. Even though these feuds have become common, some disputes still rule the headlines.
1. Cardi B and Nicki Minaj
The “flying shoe” joke was taken literally by Cardi B during a fashion show after-party. She threw her shoe at Nicki Minaj when she made unwelcoming comments at Cardi’s daughter. When the scene of the fight went viral, Cardi posted in her defense that she’d have zero tolerance towards any negative remarks on her motherhood skills. She was later spotted getting escorted by her people from the party. Cardi has a history of throwing shoes as she did it once before with her Love & Hip Hop co-star, Asia.
2. Scarlett Johansson
Scarlett’s sarcasm was on fleek when Jerry Penacoli asked her a personal question during an interview. Scarlet’s annoyance was justified when Jerry asked her what she wore underneath her suit. On sensing the cold air and realizing that it was off-limits, he asked her if it was inappropriate. To this Scarlet responded, “ to ask someone what kind of underpants they wear?”.
3. Selena Gomez
Even though celebrities have grown to co-exist with the media’s badgering about their personal lives, sometimes they are bound to lose their patience. Selena and Justin Bieber’s 100th break up had sent the media into a frenzy for the 100th time. Before she could even get over her split, paparazzi were pouring all over her. Selena was irked and hung up the call immediately when she was asked on her split again on a webcam interview with Dean Richards.
4. Kanye West and Taylor Swift
Kanye and Taylor have a long past of on-and-off bickering. It started during the VMAs when Taylor went on the stage to receive her award. Everyone was shocked and speechless when she was interrupted by Kanye West on the stage who announced that Beyonce’s video was the best and that Taylor didn’t deserve the award.
5. Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer’s bold statements and free-minded spirit is always attractive. But the Oscar-winning actress found a reporter engrossed in her phone, she reprimanded her by saying “You can’t live your whole life behind your phone, bro…”. It wasn’t taken well by fans as the reporter was reportedly using her phone for translating her question into English.
6. Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus
No one saw this nasty row coming between Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus at the MTV VMAs. When Nicki went on the stage to accept her award for Best Hip-Hop Video, she slammed the host Miley Cyrus for attacking her in an interview. She was referring to the interview with The New York Times where Miley blamed Nicki for her spat with Taylor Swift.
7. Eminem
VMAs are infamous for their high profile disputes and here is another incident from it. When Eminem was called on the stage to receive his award, he was audibly booed by Moby. Eminem didn’t let it go and replied on stage “Keep booing little girl. I will hit a man with glasses.”
8. Robert Downey Jr.
Everyone has a past and our youth definitely consists of the most embarrassing parts. It is no news that MCU’s Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. had a dark past. But what matters is he battled it and walked out of it to become a better and more responsible man. Today, he is one of the highest-paid and most loved and respected actors in the world. So when an interview touched a topic from his past addiction chapter, RDJ didn’t utter a word and stormed out of the interview.
9. Matt Damon
Being the son of a teacher makes Matt sensitive about offensive comments that attack them. He lost his cool when a cameraman jumped in during his interview and insulted teachers. Damon called him a $h!tty camera with indignation.
10. Rihanna
Rihanna is another badass celebrity who can nail a fight merely with her words. She slammed a reporter with her sarcasm during a press conference of Battleship. As the reporter tried to poke its nose at Rihanna’s love life Surrounding Ashton Kutcher, she replied “Wow, how disappointing was that question…”
