New Avengers Teams That Will Show Up In The Near MCU Future

Avengers Assemble! Possible New Teams:

Avengers is the backbone of the success and recognition of the MCU. But we saw in the Endgame that some key members either died or retired by the end of the movie. A new phase calls for a new team. It is less likely that MCU will drop the Avengers team so soon. Now that new movies and series are under development, we are expecting new superheroes to show up who could be a potential future Avenger. The remaining and the new ones can now form a new Avenger team in the upcoming phase. This has led to numerous fan theories that suggest various kinds of Avengers teams that can be formed.

 1. Secret Avengers

Avengers Assemble! Possible New Teams

While the mighty heroes fight the sinister androids, aliens, and God-like entities on the surface, there is a team of Secret Avengers who protect us from far below the ground. The world recognizes and celebrates the Avengers but the Secret Avengers risk their lives every day without and never get acknowledged for it. But the best part about this twisting suspense is that the team could already exist in the MCU while we are still oblivious to it. We already know that the Avengers headquarters was destroyed during the Infinity War. But SHIELD is not an organization to be deterred and enjoys surprising us with its hidden weapons and plans. It’s a possibility that we can’t ignore especially when Sokovia Accords are still intact and most of the old Avengers are gone.

 2. Young Avengers

MCU fans for a fact are already anticipating a team of Young Avengers on the big screen. After the key members of the Avengers team left, new faces came forward who were ardent followers of the original Avengers. Even though we are still licking our wounds after losing Iron Man, Black Widow, and Captain America in Endgame; it’s time to start moving on. And what’s better than having the kids of the current members on the team? In the upcoming Hawkeye series and Ant-Man and the Wasp movie, we can expect the development of Kate Bishop and Cassie Lang, respectively. Additionally, the inclusion of Scarlet Witch and Vision’s kids in WandaVision cements this theory further.

 3. New Avengers

The issue of New Avengers was published in 2005. The team still retained Iron Man and Captain America with new additions of Spider-Man, Wolverine, Luke Cage, Echo, and Sentry. With most of these characters already introduced on the big and small screens, MCU can move on to the next phase with some of these heroes. Spider-Woman was also in the team who later turned out to be a deceiving Skrull. Moreover, now that new superheroes like Shang-Chi and Ms. Marvel are under the MCU umbrella and coming to us via new series and movies on Disney +, we can expect a modified version of the New Avengers Team. However, as MCU’s plate already seems full of other plans, it seems less likely to get this team any sooner.

 4. Dark Avengers

Even though MCU has big its goodbyes to some of the iconic villains already, there is still scope to come across interesting villains in the upcoming movies like Taskmaster in Black Widow, or the existing ones like Vulture, Abomination and Zemo. Wonder why we are so eager to assemble villains in a list of Avengers? In the comic edition, the villains had deceived the world by disguising themselves as Avengers from the new Earth. They were called Dark Avengers and the actions of these “superheroes”  brought a fun element and novelty to the conventional superhero stories. They appeared in Marvel: Avengers Alliance issue where villains like Daken disguised as Wolverine, Bullseye as Hawkeye, Yelena Belova as Black Widow, mac Gargan as Spider-Man, Moonstone as Ms. Marvel and Norman Osborn, the leader, and founder, as Iron Patriot.

 5. Great Lake Avengers

One of the principal reasons why MCU movies are so popular globally and the highest-earning is due to its infusion of comedy into superhero action. Even in the most tensed and sweating moments, the crack up the most unexpected joke that manages to get the audience. If you enjoy Guardians of the Galaxy, you will love Great Lake Avengers. Though they are not linked to the original storyline nor are they superheroes fighting crime. It was a spoof version of the Avengers created in the 1980s. Under the MCU umbrella that has genius minds like Taika Waititi and James Gunn who are masters of comedy, Great Lake Avengers are bound to break the records.
