New Casting Reveal Eternals Major Twist:
By now, a lot of information about The Eternals has hit the internet ever since the movie was officially announced last year. We’ve got plenty of information, but sadly we haven’t got a trailer yet. That should change next month when Comic-Con @Home arrives. But before that, we’ve got a new piece of information thanks to a new casting reveal of the film. It has been stated by the casting site Mandy.com that actor Noaman Saeed will star in The Eternals as a background character who is a ‘guest to a Babylonian wedding.’ Let’s see what we can make something out of this news update and how previous reveals could connect to it.
We’ve had previous evidence stating that The Eternals will be going through several historic eras, and one of them is going to be the kingdom of ancient Mesopotamia during the Babylon era that lasted between 18th and 6th century BC. As of now, the Kingdom of ancient Mesopotamia has turned into Iraq.
In the Marvel comics, there is a bit of story related to the Eternals set during the Babylon era. As we know that the Celestials created The Eternals and the Deviants who have been at war against each other. But, the books revealed a twist that Thena (played by Angelina Jolie) and Kro (the deviant confirmed to appear in the film) actually fell in love with each other. But as time went by, their relationship was broken apart because Thena didn’t approve of Kro using his abilities to change identities and manipulate world events, wreaking havoc all around him. So, perhaps this Babylon wedding that the above casting information reveals could actually be of Kro & Thena. The reason we believe this is due to a plot leak that has already been proven to be quite true as two actors have confirmed the information revealed in the plot leak.
Since the following Plot Leak could turn out to be true, here’s your Spoiler Warning.
Let’s go through the plot leak once again:
– The Eternals are a group of super powered immortal alien warriors created by the cosmic engineers known as “Celestials” and sent to Earth to protect humankind from the Deviants, monstrous creatures also created by the Celestials that have gone rogue.
– The Eternals arrived on Earth in ancient times and lived among humans throughout the centuries, always keeping their true nature a secret.
– Sersi (Gemma Chan) is the Eternals’ spy and has psychic powers. Her mission is to protect their secret, but she enjoys living among humans and wishes her family could reveal their existence to the world.
– Dane Whitman (Kit Harington) is an archaeologist who learns about the Eternals. Sersi is sent to erase his memories, but they instead fall in love, leaving Sersi divided between Whitman and her family.
– Ajak (Salma Hayek) is the leader of the Eternals and has healing powers. She regards the Eternals as her family, particularly because they are not allowed to have children of their own.
– Ikaris (Richard Madden) is the mightiest of the Eternals and can manipulate cosmic energy. He is loyal and protective of his family, and fiercely devoted to their mission.
– Thena (Angelina Jolie) is deadliest of the Eternals and has superhuman reflexes. She is brash, rebellious and prone to breaking the rules, and carries a great secret.
– Gilgamesh (Don Lee) is the strongest of the Eternals and has superhuman strength and endurance. He is sensitive and humorous despite his massive size, and cares deeply about the others.
– Makkari (Lauren Ridloff) is the Eternals’ scout and has superhuman speed. Her function is to travel the world storing knowledge about the humans and the planet. She is deaf-mute and communicates through sign language.
– Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani) is the Eternals’ wisecracking, fun-loving fighter. While the others have chosen to lead unassuming lives on Earth, Kingo has used his abilities to become a world famous Bollywood movie star.
– Phastos (Bryan Tyree Henry) is the Eternals’ inventor. He is the most rational of the group and was once very optimistic, but has since lost his faith in humanity. He is gay.
– Sprite (Lia McHugh) is the Eternals’ storyteller and can create illusions. Despite being permanently trapped in the body of a child, she maintains an upbeat demeanor.
– Druig (Barry Keoghan) is the most dangerous of the Eternals and can control people’s minds, particularly their fears. Unlike the others, he despises humans and has his own plans.
– The movie will span thousands of years and explore how the Eternals influenced the history of the MCU before arriving in modern times, when Dane Whitman discovers the “Tomb of the Space Gods”, which is capable of summoning the Celestials to Earth to pass judgment on humankind.
– The Eternals and the Deviants battle for control of the Tomb of the Space Gods, with Whitman caught in the crossfire. Unbeknownst to the Eternals,
Druig is manipulating both sides to advance his own agenda.
Now let’s tell you why this plot leak is true, and then we will get back to Thena & Kro’s Babylonian wedding. If you look at the description given for Kingo, it has been stated that he’d be hiding in plain sight as a popular Bollywood movie star. Kumail Nanjiani even confirmed that he is playing a Bollywood movie star and has a Bollywood dance number in The Eternals after this plot leak came out. Later, we even got to know that actor Haaz Sleiman is playing the husband of Phastos, and the two characters even have a child. So, this is more than enough to confirm that the above plot leak is true.
Now, let’s get to Thena. It has been stated that the daughter of Zuras carries a great secret. It is quite predictable that this secret could be her relationship with Kro. So, to make things interesting, this big secret could actually be an Eternal-Deviant hybrid child that Thena has kept safe since forever. And no, this child cannot be Thanos because the Red Skull confirmed that just like the comics, Thanos’ father in the MCU is also A’lars. Let’s see what happens.
