Popular Theory States Vegeta’s Spirit Control Will Give Him Jojo’s Stand Power

Vegeta’s Spirit Control Give Him Jojo’s Stand Power:

The Saiyan Prince has always had to live under Goku’s shadow. Vegeta is cursed to always be in the second place. And right now, for every Dragon Ball fan, it is starting to hurt to see Vegeta trail behind Goku despite the best of his efforts. For the very first time, Vegeta made a conscious effort to not just follow on Goku’s footsteps to gain power but rather carve a niche of his own during the Tournament of Power arc. That is how he unlocked Super Saiyan Blue Evolved. But that never proved to be enough since Goku managed to unlock Ultra Instinct and had already won that race yet again. This time though, Vegeta might be about to turn the tables. Spirit Control just might be the answer to all of Vegeta’s prayers. But what exactly will Vegeta learn in Yardrat that will be a game-changer?

Vegeta’s Spirit Control ive Him Jojo’s Stand Power

What is Spirit Control you ask? Spirit Control is a highly advanced Ki Manipulation ability developed by the elders of the Yardrat Race. The Yardrats do not have the fighting prowess like the other species like the Saiyans or the Nameks. So they rely on very advanced and potent Ki Manipulation techniques to even the playing field. Spirit Control is basically gaining total control over one’s Ki production and manipulating it just like it is an extension of the user’s body.

Good Spirit Control can even grant the wielder the ability to stop, enhance, clone, shift, as well as split their Mortal Ki. Spirit Control grants abilities like Cloning, Size Alteration, Instant Transmission – a technique that allows a user to traverse great distances by manipulating space-time, and for the greatest of users, it even grants an advanced healing factor that can help them recover from even the gravest of injuries.

Spirit Control also allows the user to sense Ki across great distances. Just like Super Saiyan Blue grants Goku and Vegeta the power of hiding their aura and thus become completely invisible to Ki Sense, Spirit Control grants somewhat of similar ability but it happens involuntarily, unlike the Super Saiyan Blue form which needs to be maintained for the Ki Sense stealth attribute to function. In other words, Spirit Control has some pretty amazing advantages over all the techniques and transformations we have seen in Dragon ball till now.

The First time we saw Spirit Control in action is when Goku returned from his fight with Frieza over Namek. While on his way back, Goku had a layover at the Planet of Yardrat. Under the tutelage of the wise Yardrat Elders, Goku learned Spirit Control but only revealed to have managed to unlock Instant Transmission – the most basic ability granted by this discipline. After Goku, several other fighters also learned to use Instant Transmission after receiving on how to use it via Goku’s instructions.

Spirit Control is a rather mysterious discipline. While we know the Yardrats have some pretty neat tricks up their sleeves, we are yet to see someone bring all of them into action in a fight. After the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga, Vegeta traveled to Yardrat to enhance his combat skills after realizing how hopelessly outmatched he is against Moro. We see that Vegeta has already learned the basics in the Manga. His Gallick Beam has become way more powerful. Vegeta has also shown physical attributes augmentation although he is yet to land on Earth and fight Moro, who is currently being engaged by Goku.

Dragon Ball Super Moro Arc Could End

Goku’s trump card is Ultra Instinct. Ultra Instinct is the power of being driven by thoughtless divine intuition. As a result, the body moves on pure instinct since there is no relay between the mind and body. The time delay being eliminated means that there are no wasted movements and minimal effort. It grants a huge boost in power to Goku, who has mastered Ultra Instinct Sign – the initial stage of the technique of the Gods. But against Moro, Goku is still powerless since the villain has proved to be a highly formidable foe who has some knowledge of how to counter Ultra Instinct.

Right now, Vegeta looks like the only person that can turn the tides of battle. His Spirit Control Power will not only help defeat Moro but also make Vegeta finally surpass Goku, his life-long dream. But what will Vegeta’s Spirit Control power look like? A new fan theory claims that there might be more than what meets the eye.

While Goku has managed to out-run the Saiyan Prince more than a couple of times in the series, the fact that Vegeta has taken an entirely different route means that not even Goku will be able to catch up to him since even Goku has not gone for this “Road Not Taken” in the first place. In this new road, Vegeta is about to develop an ability that will give him a power very similar to the one we have seen in another popular anime – Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure.

Dragon Ball Hype is a popular Dragon Ball fan page where many Dragon Ball theorists and enthusiasts come forth to share their views. In this fan page, an anonymous user who has had a track record of predicting future events in Dragon Ball because he has ‘inside access’ has said something really interesting. The user claims that he has had a sneak peek of the future Dragon Ball Manga Chapter and claims that Vegeta will use Spirit Control to develop a stand likeability similar to that in Jojo.

For the Non-Jojo fans who do not know what this means, we have got you covered. In Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, the greatest of fighters can manipulate their fighting spirit in the form of a humanoid or non-humanoid form. Each Stand has a class and special ability of its own. A Stand provides rapid augmentation and enhancement of a Stand User’s fighting prowess in battle. If Vegeta uses it, it might be enough to change the ball game entirely.

But it does come with a lot of questions. Vegeta is a rather hands-on guy. He likes to get down and dirty and do things on his own rather than relying on short cuts. His primary objective to learn Spirit Control is to augment his combat abilities within the physical aspect. If he ends up gaining a Stand like the power that would mean Dragon Ball is re-writing the very foundation of Vegeta’s warrior drive that fans have been falling in love with since time immemorial.  The rumor might just be that – a rumor. But if it is indeed true, it might signal a drastic change in the character development of the Prince of all Saiyans.

Give Him Jojo’s Stand Power

Moreover – the actual question might be what Vegeta’s new Stand Power could be? And will Moro manage to counter that too? He has been learning to master Spirit Control in ways no other Spirit Control expert has ever done on Yardrat. Vegeta might be able to surprise us all just yet. We have to wait for the official release date of the upcoming Manga Chapter to actually see if this rumor is just a rumor or does it hold any more water. And if it is indeed true, we might be in for one hell of a surprise. Vegeta, we are all eagerly waiting for you to come back to Earth, defeat Moro, and surpass Goku for good!!

The last Dragon Ball arc to have been featured in the Manga is the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Saga. Released in the year 2018, the Manga is still on-going and again sees the Dragon Ball Universe in grave danger from an ancient enemy that has broken free of its prison. The official synopsis for the arc reads:

Galactic Patrol Kidnapping.
