Eternals Synopsis Reveals All Characters & the Film’s Connection to Avengers: Endgame

Eternals Reveals All Characters & Connection to Endgame:

Eternals are going to be the most surprising superhero movie of 2020. The biggest advantage that this film has on its side is that no one knows anything about it. Those who’ve read the comics will obviously be familiar with characters, but the general audience might end up loving the new entry of the MCU just like they’ve loved Guardians of the Galaxy right from the beginning.

Ancient Time Period of Eternals Revealed

For those who don’t know anything about the film can refer to the following Synopsis which has just arrived:

“Marvel Studios’ “The Eternals” features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of “Avengers: Endgame”, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient enemy, The Deviants. The outstanding ensemble cast includes Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Kumail Nanjiani as cosmic-powered Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Then. Kit Harington was cast as Dane Whitman. Directed by Chloé Zhao, who helmed the critically acclaimed Sundance film”The Rider,” and produced by Kevin Feige, “The Eternals” opens in U.S. theaters on November 6, 2020.”

This Synopsis tells us about the specialties of every new cast member and his/her character in the film. But what’s interesting is that Eternals will take place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Kevin Feige mentioned the fact that the Eternals are aware of the Avengers but the Avengers don’t know who the Eternals are. And that’s obvious because the Eternals haven’t shown themselves to the world. In fact, rumor has it that they’ve been made to forget about their powers completely. That’s why they haven’t surfaced at all.

New Eternals Footage at CCXP

This film will reveal the powerful Eternals to the modern world as the story will take place in the present day. But, it will also show us flashbacks of the ancient history that the Eternals have had on Earth and other planets like Titans. The Celestials created the Eternals & Deviants. They’re going to play a crucial role in the film. So, we can anticipate this film to go back 1000s of years and explore the rich history of the MCU.

The Eternals Salma Hayek MCU

The first-ever footage of Eternals was shown at Brazil Comic-Con Experience. Here’s the description:

“Druig (Barry Keoghan) the leader of Deviants opens doors to what looks like a training camp. He finds part of The Eternals reunited with Ikaris (Richard Madden) at the front. He stares at them and says “Welcome. Feel at home.” The preview then alternates several images of the Eternals scattered around different parts of the world, all with a sacred or magnanimous appearance. They all appear together in uniform, apparently led by Ajak (Salma Hayek). In alternating scenes and glimpses, they gather around a bonfire, and Thena (Angelina Jolie) appears lit by the fire. Ajak and Kingo (Kumail Nanjiani) appear to be riding horses.

The scenes seem to show us many different cultures around the globe, but there is one character who appears several times alone and is definitely a mysterious highlight of the footage: Sersi (Gemma Chan). When they all come together on the beach, Sersi clasps Sprite (Lia McHugh) in what appears to be a solemn act. The preview ends with Ajak saying “these people have changed us. We need to protect them.”

We might get the first look at Eternals in February at this year’s Super Bowl. It might just be footage of 30-60 seconds, so don’t expect much. Eternals are currently shooting and it Releases on November 6, 2020.
