Avengers: Endgame Quotes – Avengers: Endgame has failed in telling us a very coherent story in an amazing way so that everyone could understand it well. Years of thinking, planning, and writing was what it took for designing the story the way it was, and finally, we all got to see the Avengers emerge victorious against Thanos. Endgame was the epic end to the Infinity Saga, and it would also be the new beginning to the next big story of the MCU.
Tony Stark: This thing on?…Hey Miss Potts. If you find this recording don’t feel bad about this. Part of the journey is the end. Just for the record, being adrift through space with zero promise of rescue is more fun than it sounds. Food and water ran out 4 days ago. Oxygen with run out tomorrow morning. That’ll be it. When I drift off I will dream about you. It’s always you.
The Ancient One: Strange was meant to be the best of us.
Bruce Banner: So he must have done it for a reason?
The Ancient One: I fear you might be right.
Bruce Banner: Thank you.
The Ancient One: I am counting on you, Bruce. We all are.
Tony Stark: What’s wrong with him?
Rocket: He’s pissed. Thinks he failed. Which, of course he did, but, you know, there’s a lot of that going around, ain’t there?
Tony Stark: Honestly, at this exact second, I thought you were a Build-A-Bear.
Rocket: Maybe I am.
Ant-Man: As far as I’m concerned, that’s America’s *ss.
Captain America: We lost, all of us. We lost friends. We lost family. We lost a part of ourselves. This is the fight of our lives.
Black Widow: This is gonna work, Steve.
Captain America: I know it is. ‘Cause I don’t know what I’m gonna do if it doesn’t.
Thanos: You could not live with your own failure, and where did that bring you? Back to me.
Tony Stark: This thing on? Hey, Miss Potts, Pep. If you find this recording, don’t post it on social media. It’s going to be a real tear-jerker. I don’t know if you’re ever going to see these. I don’t even know if you’re still… Oh, God, I hope so. Today is day twenty-one, uh, twenty-two. You know, if it wasn’t for the existensial terror of staring into the literal void of space, I’d say, I’m feeling more better today. The infection’s run its course, thanks to the blue meanie back there. You’d love her. Very practical. Only a tiny bit sadistic.
Clint Barton: We can’t bring her back.
Thor: I’m sorry, no offense, but you’re a very earthly being, okay, and we’re talking about space magic. It can seem very difficult…
Clint Barton: Yeah, look, I know I’m way outside my pay grade here, but she’s still dead, isn’t she? It *can’t* be undone! Or, at least that’s what the red floating guy had to say! Maybe you ought to go talk to him! Okay, go grab your hammer, and you find and talk to him! It was supposed to be me. Sacrificed her life for that godd*mn stone, she put her life on it.
Bruce Banner: She’s not coming back. We have to make it worth it. We have to.
Steve Rogers: We will.
Steve Rogers: We’ve been hunting Thanos for three weeks now. Deep space scans, and satellites, and we got nothing. Tony, you fought him.
Tony Stark: Who told you that? I didn’t fight him. No, he wiped my face with a planet while a Bleecker Street magician gave away the stone. That’s what happened. There was no fight.
Steve Rogers: Okay. Did he give you any clues, any coordinates, anything?
Tony Stark: I couldn’t stop him.
Steve Rogers: Neither could I.
Tony Stark: I lost the kid.
Steve Rogers: Tony, we lost.
Thanos: I thought by eliminating half of life, the other half would thrive, but you have shown me… that’s impossible. As long as there are those that remember what was, there will always be those, that are unable to accept what can be. They will resist.
‘I keep telling everybody they should move on and grow. Some do. But not us.’ – Steve Rogers (Avengers: Endgame)
Captain America: We will. Whatever it takes.
‘We’re going to be okay. You can rest now.’ – Pepper Potts (Avengers: Endgame)
