Avengers: Endgame is going to release very soon in theaters. And after an impressive start to the year with the release of Captain Marvel, Disney could make a lot of money this year already. And with Endgame, it is only going to smash its previous records. Endgame will bring in Captain Marvel to fight Thanos and that’d be some fight to witness. Recently, the writers of Marvel’s biggest upcoming film Avengers: Endgame, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely revealed that they had written Brie Larson’s scenes in Endgame even before they were done scripting for Captain Marvel.
It’s a bit difficult to understand how that would have happened but one has to admit that the makers pulled this off quite brilliantly. It could’ve become very messy and chaotic if things wouldn’t have fallen in place but all the credits go to the writers of Endgame & Captain Marvel for keeping it all very simple and clear. Well, in an interview with BuzzFeed, the writers said,
“It’s bizarre,” McFeely spoke to BuzzFeed. “So we’re writing a character that needs to be a strong character in our movie knowing that, whoever she is, she’s 20 years removed from an entire movie that’s going to give you a really good sense of who she is. But, by the way, no one’s written that yet.” He shook his head, laughing in disbelief. “So all we can do is our best.”
“[We were] saying, ‘Does this seem like theoretically, it would ruin anything you might do?’” McFeely added. “And they said, ‘No.’ It was a lot of trusts. And kudos to Brie for giving it a college try in the first place. It’s crazy.”
Well, I think Marvel is far ahead of us and are pretty good at pulling such stuff off. As the same thing happened with Black Panther in Infinity War. Hopefully, there will not be any loopholes in Avengers: Endgame either.
“Writing is one of my strengths and all I can say is that I observe things and try my best in order to convert them into words without the pressure of satisfying people’s demands.”
