Avengers 4 Theory:
By now, you would obviously be aware of the fact that Marvel is remarkable at establishing story threads which would be brought into the picture later down the line, in the future of the MCU. Red Skull came back in this way, the main story point of Ant-Man and the Wasp was based on a mere Easter Egg that fans spotted in the first Ant-Man film, and now the entire Avengers 4 is going to be based upon story threads from the past 21 movies!
Keeping this in mind, we now have the means to establish the connection between Quantum Realm & Avengers 4, and it was actually given back in 2013 with Thor: The Dark World!
Ant-Man and the Wasp took a big dive into explaining to us the intricacies of the Quantum Realm as Avengers 4 is going to heavily involve it into the larger fray of things. Quantum Realm is going to introduce the MCU with Time Travel after the Time Stone gave us little tidbits of time manipulation!
There is a lot more to the Quantum Realm which the two Ant-Man films have only hinted at and the amazing fact to consider here is that these two Ant-Man films aren’t the only two that have talked about the certain details of the Quantum Realm.
In Doctor Strange BTS featurettes, we got to know that the Green-ish World that we saw before the Dark Dimension was indeed the Quantum Realm. Here, Doctor Strange became the second film in the MCU to take a crack at the Quantum Realm.
The first one was obviously Ant-Man, and recently Ant-Man and the Wasp took a big dive into the Quantum Realm.
But you’d be fascinated to know that it was Thor: The Dark World that necessarily brought Quantum Physics into the MCU. We saw a Quantum field generator in Ant-Man and the Wasp, but we actually saw that way before in Thor: The Dark World.
Thor 2 is considered to be among the weaker MCU films, but it actually packs some amazing details which are now flourishing in the MCU. Check out the video below:
As you can see in the video, when Thor took Jane Foster to Asgard in order to have her checked after she was “possessed” by the Aether, Jane talks to Asgardian doctor Eir about the Quantum Field Generator which transfers molecular energy from one place to another.
Only Eir didn’t call it a Quantum Field Generator, rather on Asgard, it is referred to as a “Soul Forge.” (Now this is another example of magic being the science that hasn’t yet been fully discovered, as there is not a lot of difference between Magic & Science).
During the post-credits scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp, we saw that Scott went in the Quantum Realm through the Quantum Field Generator in order to collect Quantum Energy for Ava/Ghost so they could fix her, and instead, he was trapped in there because The Pym family became victims to Thanos’ snap.
Now we have had an amazing theory out there which has already given us an evidence that the “souls” of all the Snap Victims were transferred to the Quantum Realm as they were getting disintegrated post-Thanos’ snap.
If you look at the video above, which aligns the snap and the disintegration that follows all around the world, you’d notice that as the victims turn to dust, there were some orange dots of energy surrounding Scott within the Quantum Realm. These energy buzzing “gems” are considered to be the “souls” of the snap victims.
We have established that the quantum field generator is, in fact, the “Soul Forge,” which means that the Quantum Realm will surely have something to do with the souls and this here is the major evidence that the souls of the disintegrated people of the Universe are trapped in the Quantum Realm.
In Doctor Strange, even the Ancient One established the fact that the Quantum Realm is “Benevolent and life-giving” which is why Scott went into the Quantum Realm for collecting Quantum Energy, and that is why the snap victims will return from the Quantum Realm, having a new life given to them by the Quantum Realm itself.
Making all these connections just increases our hype for Avengers 4 even more! Unfortunately, we have to wait for May 3, 2019.
