We all are waiting for the release of Spider-Man: Far From Home so desperately because we all know that we are going to see one of the most popular and terrifying villains of the Spiderverse in this movie and the best part is that the role has been done by one of the most outstanding actors of the industry in the name of Jake Gyllenhaal.
So, we all know that the shooting of the movie has been done and the makers are now shifting their focus on the marketing of the film as the film has already headed into the post-production.
Fans were really excited to get any updates about the character of Mysterio in the movie as there were huge debates and doubts whether the makers of the film will bring back his iconic and famous Fishbowl in the movie or not.
But, it seems like we are getting some hints or answers about this question by the marketing team of the movie. Candy Connoisseurs are the ones who have shared an image of their brand new and latest flavor of Dr. Pepper which is almost on the edge of release and have strong ties with the movie’s premiere.
As we can see in the photo they have shared on their official Instagram account that the bottle of Dr. Pepper has a very dark blue and black design on it which replicates to the costume color of Mysterio a little. Also, if we will see with eagle eyes we can find that the bottle is empty on from the label end to the cap and which gives an idea to us that we are going to have that famous fishbowl in the costume of Mysterio.
Also, on the cover of the can we can see that silhouette of a person has been made with a spherical head of the character there are hints that Mysterio is going to have that fishbowl in the movie.
The makers of the movie have done a great job in rescuing Gyllenhaal’s look in the costume of Mysterio in the movie. Also, right at the starting of the announcement that Jake Gyllenhaal is going to do the job of portraying Mysterio in the movie.
There were many questions from the side of the fans and critics that whether he is going to have that fishbowl in the movie and some of the photos which made their way out in public saw that the stunt double of Gyllenhaal isn’t wearing any kind of fishbowl helmet in the shooting and also the work on his beard has been quite good as we are going to see Gyllenhaal in the movie without helmet.
A lot of this depends on the director of the movie, Jon Watts and the head of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige is very much relaxed and happy with the direction of Jon Watts and has also suggested that he believes in the decisions Watts will take in this movie as he stated in an interview,
“Much like Ant-Man, there are things that people know about that movie, which is a great deal of the movie: the villain of the movie, the storyline of the film, that we’re shooting in Europe and that Peter Parker goes on continuing that [Captain America: Civil War] was a big giant super hero class movie.” Kevin Feige also reflected on the thoughts of story of the movie as he stated that, “The fall out of that in Homecoming was John Hughes and him going to his high school. So that’s what’s fun to us about the Spider-Man movies. And again going from Infinity War to Ant-Man and the Wasp, the tonal shift. So, there’s a lot of fun stuff. How it connects, where it connects, when it takes place, very similar to Ant-Man and the Wasp in that we’re not gonna say right now.”
So, it’s still a mystery whether we are going to see Gyllenhaal in the movie with a fishbowl helmet on top of his head but according to the marketing strategy of the makers of the film there are signs that they’re not going to do the insane thing of eliminating one of the character-defining things of Mysterio’s character.
