Yes, the headline is true and we are also as much excited as you are because we all know how desperately we want to see Avengers 4. The manner in which Russo Brothers have delivered the news clearly defines what a great team for marketing and promotions is sitting in the offices of Marvel Studios because they have given a big task to the whole fan base and have given a rise to a lot of fan theories again by putting a mysterious photo with their caption ‘#wrapped’.
So, the announcement has been made by the Russo Brothers and the people who have been waiting for this film are in a state of balance as they’re happy to hear the news that the shooting has been done and they’re to get closer to the official revelation of the movie, the first look and everything after that.
But at the same time, fans are feeling a sense of vulnerability in their hearts as with the incoming of this news, we are slowly and slowly getting towards the end of this beautiful journey which we started with MCU 10 years ago. Well, that’s the cruelest thing about the good time that it’ll end one day.
Coming back to the news, the announcement by Russo Brothers had something which has become an even bigger talking point than the news of film’s wrap and that is the photo which Russo Brothers has shared on Twitter. In the photo, we can’t see a lot of things and the only thing we see is a blue and white object glowing brighter than the sun and it’s hard to figure out what it is as some are claiming it’s an alien-ship, incoming of someone very powerful, some are claiming that it’s Thanos’ grandfather Chronos, and there are much more predicting a lot more.
The reshoots of the movie were undergoing in Atlanta, Georgia, and some weeks ago, we got the news that Chris Evans has bid his farewell to the MCU as the reshoots of the actor have been done and dusted. Also, Tom Holland seems to get his part as Spider-Man in the movie done some weeks ago. But, now with the complete end to reshoots, all the focus is going to shift in the post-production department.
After this news, all the eyes are on the title of the movie as fans are waiting impatiently in front of their editing table so that they can start making all those astonishing fan arts after they get the name of the movie in their hands. Kevin Feige had said earlier that they’re eyeing towards the promotions of the movie as now they’ve produced the trailer of next year’s Captain Marvel.
If we take a look back into the promotional strategies of Marvel Studios then we find that they produce something in the month of October and November for sure, as they premiered the first look of both these Avengers films (Age of Ultron and Infinity War) on October 22, 2014, and November 29, 2017. So, a lot of chances are there that maybe we will get to see something of this film in this or the next month.
Anthony Russo also told Deadline in August in the context of this movie that,
“We’ve worked on the edit all summer and we’re excited to finally get these missing pieces in the film and then we expect to be in post through the fall and winter. We hope to be done by March.”
It was Mark Ruffalo who has also stated his views on the work of creative team which includes screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely with assistance from Russo Brothers. The big green giant said,
“I don’t even know that they really know exactly,” he said. “Some of it is happening while we’re there. It’s pretty amazing. And we’ll shoot some stuff and a few days later come back and reshoot it because we wanna take it in another direction. It’s a very living organism, even as we approach it being a locked picture, we’re still working on it.”
The movie, Avengers 4 is scheduled to be released on May 3, 2019. So, what are your views on the photo which Russo Brothers have shared? Tell us in the comments section below.
