2. THE RITUAL
The Ritual is a British Horror film which came out in 2017 and was directed by David Bruckner and written by Joe Barton. The film was based on the 2011 novel of the same name by Adam Nevill and stars Rafe Spall, Arsher Ali, Robert James-Collier, and Sam Troughton. The movie is about the reunion after the tragic death of their friend, four college pals set out to hike through the Scandinavian wilderness. A wrong turn leads them into the mysterious forests of Norse legend, where an ancient evil exists and stalks them at every turn.
3. IT FOLLOWS
It Follows is a movie which is all about a sexual appointment, Jay came to know that her date has been passed on to a curse which is very lethal and it can only be stopped after sleeping with another unsuspecting person. The movie starring some great names as Maika Monroe, Keir Gilchrist, and Daniel Zovatto, despite having some loopholes in the story the direction and screenplay is quite phenomenal and deserve a watch from all of you.
4. THE VOID
The Void is a movie about a police officer who helped a bloodied man to a hospital for his well-being, where he finds that some mysterious things are walking and present around the exterior of that building. It’s one of the weirdest and strange movies on the list but watching this is a strong recommendation from our side.
5. GERALD’S GAME
The movie is about a woman who kills her husband during a romantic sexual game on her bed but after the death of her husband she soon starts hearing some strange voices and also some strange visions but couldn’t help he rout as she was handcuffed while that kinky game with her husband.
6. THE INVITATION
The movie is about a man who accepts an invitation from his ex-wife for a dinner party. The party turns into something creepy as the started feeling wounds from their past and a few mysterious things happening with them. The movie is really creepy and you should watch this one with your girlfriend for sure.
7. UNDER THE SHADOW
The movie is centered on a woman who is taking care of her daughter during the Iran-Iraq war and there were rumors that the missile that hit the Shideh’s building is cursed with some Eastern spirits. The mother started believing the rumors as her daughter got possessed by a spirit and now she has to fight against those spirits in order to save her daughter from those evil spirits.
8. HUSH
The movie has a very interesting plot as a deaf writer who is living into the woods for a simple and peaceful life is facing a death threat from a killer after she saw him in the mirror. The movie is a great mix of thriller and horror and will make glued to the screen till the end.
9. CONJURING 2
Arguably, one of the most popular and famous movies from this list ‘Conjuring 2’ is the story of mother who is taking care of her children but witnessed some serious life-damaging activities in their home as a result they called two demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren in order to help them from those dark entities in their home.
10. EMELIE
The movie was released on March 4, 2016, and is still considered as one of the very best horror movies available on Netflix right now. The movie is all about the story of a Babysitter (Sarah Bolger) who starts revealing her psychotic nature and the young boy (Joshua Rush) tries to stop her in order to protect his two small siblings from who turns into something really scary. The movie is really intriguing and a must watch for the fans of horror. The movie is directed by Michael Thelin.
