Aaytha Ezhuthu (meaning: Three Dots) is an Indian – Tamil movie from 2004. This Political thriller film is directed and written by Mani Ratnam. While co-produced by Mani Ratnam and G. Srinivasan under the banners of Madras Talkies. The film features Suriya, Madhavan, Trisha Krishnan, Siddharth, Meera Jasmine and Esha Deol in the lead roles, and Bharathiraja was seen in the pivotal role and features songs with music that is composed by A.R. Rahman. The name of the film is inspired by name of a Tamil Letter, three dots that are considered as the three different characters in the film from different communities. Ravi K. Chandran did the filming of the film and Sreekar Prasad did the editing. The film got released on 21st May 2004 with the running time of 155 minutes and positive reviews from the critics and audience. The film got 4 out of 5 stars as the overall ratings from the critics.
