Avengers: Infinity War may have been the best movie of this year, but it sure was not perfect. Just like every other movie, it also had its continuity flaws. Now that the movie is out for all the fans to watch, they are spotting new errors in the film and all that it making its way to the net. While the plot of the film may have been set up quite amazingly, the continuity of the scenes which were shot was not without a few silly mistakes.
There were a few glitches in some scenes which only some eagle-eyed fans could have spotted, and that too if they were watching the movie on pause and play, going frame by frame trying to find a little element from top to bottom. In doing so, there was one very small mistake which no one really noticed. If you go through the big fight of Tony and Thanos at Titan and watch closely, you will spot a difference with Tony’s beard. Check the images given above and below respectively and you’ll see that in the middle of the dialogue, Tony goes and trims his beard, and comes back in his suit!
Well, this one’s a little continuity error which may have occurred due to the shoot taking place on different days, or different takes may have been used for the final cut, which is why Robert Downey Jr.’s beard may have been trimmed down. Other than this, one of the glitches happened right at the beginning of the film after Tony and Pepper finished their run. As Tony was talking to Pepper about him having a dream about her expecting a little Stark, there was an error with his jacket which many of us might have missed.
This Reddit fan has posted the video which shows that within the same scene, Tony’s jacket was sitting on his shoulders, and in a split second screen cut, we found that the jacket was tied around his waist. Have a look:
Now, we know that Tony’s nanotech suit is special, but we did not know that his jacket is a freakin’ snake which has the ability to tie itself around Tony’s waist within a second! Well, there might be a reason behind this particular mistake, which is an actual deleted scene. By now, you might know that 2 cameos were removed right in this very moment, as Happy Hogan was supposed to have one, and co-director Joe Russo as well.
In the deleted scene, Tony and Pepper’s talk was interrupted by Happy who made his grand entry in a golf cart. Then, he ran off to fend off a Paparazzi cameraman who would have turned out to be none other than Joe Russo himself, making his trademark Marvel Cinematic Universe cameos like the previous two movies that he directed. Amidst all this, Tony might have removed his jacket from his shoulder and tied it around his waist. This particular scene was deleted because it seemed that Tony’s conversation was being interrupted repeatedly as first it would have happened with Happy, and then Doctor Strange.
Avengers: Infinity War was directed by Joe & Anthony Russo and written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. It stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Tom Hiddleston, Paul Bettany, Idris Elba, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Peter Dinklage, Benedict Wong, Pom Klementieff, Karen Gillan, Gwyneth Paltrow, Benicio del Toro, Josh Brolin, Chris Pratt, Danai Gurira and Letitia Wright.
Here’s the official Synopsis of the movie:
“As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.”
