Avengers: Infinity War – Wakanda’s Visual Creation Looks Incredibly Remarkable in this New VFX Video

Avengers: Infinity War is the biggest Marvel movie ever and that is true in every aspect as not only did the movie earn the biggest Box Office numbers for a Superhero movie by bringing in more than $2 Billion worldwide, but it had the most amount of production budget involved as well. Just the production of the movie cost Disney / Marvel around $300-400 Million and the Marketing of the movie would have almost doubled that. But since the movie made a huge number, the studios enjoyed more than $1.3 Billion in pure profit!

The reason why the production of the movie cost so much was because the scale and scope of this movie were really high. It involved a whole lot of CGI and special effects mainly because of the fact that all the villains in the movie were in fact created with CGI. Apart from that, the cast of the movie was immense as it involved around 70 characters with more than half of them being Hollywood A-Listers.

Seeing the movie we could imagine that a big chunk of the CGI money would have actually been spent on creating the various backgrounds and locations that were a part of the movie. The film spent time on many locations going from Thor’s Ship to Thanos’ 2 ships to Earth (New York and Wakanda) to Nidavellir to Vormir to Titan!  It even went to Gamora’s Zehoberei planet in a flashback sequence. So creating that must have cost a fortune, but Marvel obviously earned all that back so they may be happy to spend this much money if the returns are this big!

Infinity War Wakanda's Visual Creation

Avengers: Infinity War had so many characters to shine on the centre stage but it was mostly a movie about two characters, Thanos and Thor. Well, it would have been a movie about Thor but Thanos stole his spotlight with the big finger Snap that Thor allowed him to make at the very end of the movie.

Here’s what Director Joe Russo had to say about Thor’s story arc in the film and he also mentioned the fact that this would have been Thor’s movie if he would have gone for the head or somehow taken down Thanos:

Avngers: Infinity War Thanos' Snap

“I think he’s been on a very complicated journey where he struggles with his ability to feel worthy and be worthy. I think he’s looking for a moral compass in his life. What we love about him in Infinity War is that he has been torn down to his essential parts and he goes on a hero’s journey which a very underdog journey for someone of his stature because he has lost everything in his life.”

“In a lot of ways he is the driving hero’s arc of the movie which stands in direct opposition to Thanos’ argument. I would argue that head for chopped his head off at the end of the movie that the movie will belong to Thor but because he didn’t it belongs to Thanos.”

He continued:

“I would argue that the fan base could be equally upset with Thor, who chose to throw that axe into Thanos chest and not his head. Because he wanted to tell Thanos that he got his revenge”

Thanos Odin Heimdall Avengers: Infinity War

Had he gone for a kill shot, that snap would not have happened,” he continued. “These are choices that characters who are feeling immense pain make and hopefully, the audience can learn to empathize with those characters because they can grow through stories. Stories can teach us things and that we should try to see every choice from the perspective of the character that made the choice.”

Now Avengers 4 will bring in even more epic locations with its Time Travel sequences when the movie comes out on May 3, 2019.
