The chemistry between Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker took the series to new levels and transformed it into an all-time classic. The series is now being rebooted for TV, with the same plot and 2 new actors playing the legendary roles of agents Carter and Lee. Will they be able to live up to the standards? Only time will tell, but the trailer seems quite promising. The two actors seem to be mimicking the earlier performances and Jon Foo’s action is matching up to the legendary Chan standards. The pilot airs on 31st of March, this is one you wouldn’t want to miss. Powerpuff girls Television has undergone massive change for the better in recent years with new and exciting shows launching every season. However, the young kids have been left behind in this bold race. While we were treated to some of the best cartoons of all time, the same cannot be said for the current generation of children. Therefore, reboots are finding their way into cartoons as well, after Samurai Jack was confirmed earlier this year, The Powerpuff Girls is set to make a return for the good on Cartoon Network this fall. The 2 time Emmy award winning series will star new voice actors but same graphics and plot. It will be fun to see the effect that Chemical X has on the new generation. Prison break Prison Break, as a series was an underdog. It started off with little following and grew into a masterpiece in its initial seasons. The show became a huge success specially here in South-East Asia. However, the creators could not maintain n the standards, and the show had to be cut down from 6 to 4 seasons. The result was an unsatisfactory ending with a rushed up movie. However, the show is set to make a comeback with a 10-episode season acting as a sequel. What’s better is that the Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcwell are returning to reprise their roles as the Scofield brothers. School of Rock School of Rock is one of those movies every rock fan hates to love. The performance by Jack Black involving numerous Rock references and great physical comedy left audiences wanting for more. Well the wait is over because a TV adaptation of The movie has arrived. The show has been given a straight-to-series order by Nickelodeon and starts on its 13 episode run this month. Let’s hope it lives up to the comical, and musical reputation of its predecessor. Taken If there is one “set of skills” that everyone has grown to love, its Liam Neeson’s in Taken. The action thriller has become a benchmark in its genre in recent times. The movie became a surprise hit in theatres because of its fast paced storytelling and incredible action. After a run of 3 movies, the movie is set to show up on smaller screens this year. However, the series won’t be a sequel but a prequel that tells us the story of how Bryan mills acquired his “very particular set of skills” and became what the audience loves him for. The show is set for release next year and is not one you’d want to miss.
