Ms. Marvel began the trend of introducing mutants in the MCU. And now She-Hulk seems to be continuing that. We’re going to be introduced to the weird looking seven soulmates of Abomination in the coming episodes of the series, and they could all turn out to be mutants. But before that, She-Hulk’s second episode had already dropped a major bombshell, and many of us didn’t even notice! Apparently, the latest ep sort of confirmed the existence of Wolverine in MCU.
At the 5:57 mark of Episode 2, after Jen Walters got fired and was looking for jobs online, she opened a certain website that had two specific articles linked on the side. The second link finally addressed what happened in Eternals as it stated – “Why there is a giant statue of a man sticking out of the ocean.” But the first link is the one we need to focus on.
It states – “Man Fights with Metal claws in bar brawl.” Well, Wolverine’s bar appearances have been pretty common. He was seen in a bar in the first X-Men. Then he went to fight Victor in a bar in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. He made another bar cameo in X-Men: First Class. He was even seen in a bar in the teaser for his upcoming game. So clearly, She-Hulk has teased the existence of Wolverine!
Whether this link directly referenced Wolverine or not remains to be seen. But if it did, then it will be interesting to see where he appears in the MCU. He could show up in the upcoming Deadpool threequel. We reckon that he would have to appear before Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars so he could team up with the others in those films.
She-Hulk’s next episode arrives on September 1.
