Avengers: Secret Wars is one of the most significant comic book events to have taken place. It ran a massive multiversal story of the multiverse itself that ended. The MCU just gave us a road map till Phase 6, and it all ends with Avengers: Secret Wars. This crossover event will bring the Multiverse Saga to an end. And this is the film that could beat Avengers: Endgame in terms of scale and the number of characters that will appear in it. So we believe that one of its story elements could include a massive Ghost Rider surprise for us. It’s quite possible that Nicolas Cage could return as Ghost Rider.
Endgame had a whole army of heroes, including several random soldiers from Wakanda, the ravagers, the sorcerers, and New Asgardians. But this time, these random soldiers could be replaced by heroes and villains. If you have a slight idea about Secret Wars, then you would be aware that this storyline includes a place called the Battleworld!
This is where most of the multiverse came to an end because of Incursions, and the last surviving place left was the Battleworld which comprised different factions of the entire multiverse. It had variants of several heroes and villains residing in different parts of the battleworld. And one faction of characters residing on the planet could be Ghost Riders.
Even though the Ghost Rider movies by Nicolas Cage weren’t very well acclaimed, he was still hailed as a fantastic Ghost Rider. And now he could finally be brought back through the Multiversal concept of Secret Wars. The Avengers Assemble animated series featured multiple Ghost Riders on Battleworld. So imagine if we could see a Ghost Rider land on MCU’s Battleworld, which includes different Ghost Riders like Johnny Blaze, Robbie Reyes from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, and Frank Castle’s cosmic Ghost Rider, and a blue flamed Danny Ketch! They could be a part of Kang Prime’s villainous army that the heroes will have to take on.
