New Rumor Reveals How Kingpin Will Return After Hawkeye

Hawkeye made the first real move to bring Marvel’s Netflix shows into the MCU. We got a look at Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin in the main MCU and then Spider-Man: No Way Home brought in Charlie Cox as well. But then Hawkeye’s finale implied that Kingpin was killed off by Echo. Now those who have read the comics would know that Kingpin is not dead for sure. He is set to be back in MCU’s Echo series and now a new rumor has revealed how Kingpin will return after Hawkeye.

The Weekly Planet Podcast has a Hot Scoop or a Shot of Poop segment, and this is when we heard from host James Clement how Kingpin will return and what would be different about him this time around. Apparently, he’d be in 4 episodes of Echo and because she shot him in the face, he’d also be wearing an eyepatch just like the comics.

How Kingpin Will Return After Hawkeye

Here’s what James Clement had to say:

“Yep, Daredevil is in it for three episodes, as in Charlie Cox. Kingpin, Vinnie D’Onofrio is in four. The Kingpin storyline is building up to him running for mayor of New York City. Apparently, he’s going to be wearing an eye patch because he was shot in the head in Hawkeye… Daredevil is also going to be rocking a red and black suit and is looking for Jessica Jones.”

Marvel recreated the iconic shot of Echo shooting Kingpin in Hawkeye. And now it is obvious that we’ll also see him return to face her. But along with her, we’re also supposed to see Daredevil in a cool red black suit looking for Jessica Jones. You’ve got to take this rumor with a grain of salt, but The Weekly Planet Podcast has got things right in the past. And all this makes a ton of sense. So maybe it is time for you guys to be excited about the Marvel Netflix world being continued on Disney+.
