Disney+ Reveals The Surprising Timeline of Doctor Strange 2 in MCU Phase 4
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness just came out on Disney+ and we’re getting to know several new details about the movie. People are watching and rewatching the movie to pick up new info hidden in it. And with that comes an official tidbit from Marvel and Disney+, which will surely surprise you! I bet that what you thought about the Timeline of Doctor Strange 2 was wrong!
When Does Doctor Strange 2 Take Place?
You would have thought that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness may have taken place in 2025, a few months after Spider-Man: No Way Home. But that’s not the case as according to Disney+, the events of Multiverse of Madness happen even before Hawkeye (which took place in December 2024). So yea, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the story of late 2024, probably before December. Then the events of Hawkeye happen in December. And projects like Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel obviously happen in 2025. So, this clears up quite a lot of things for us. Now it will be interesting to see whether Doctor Strange would have returned to Earth-616 from the Dark Dimension by the time Moon Knight or Ms. Marvel take place.
