New Look at David Harbour’s Hellboy Revealed, Director Promises ‘More Bloody & Violent’ Reboot

We all are really excited to see the new version of Hellboy under the guidance of Neil Marshall and also to see David Harbour who has been a part of some tremendous projects over the years but is famous for his role as Jim Hopper in the television series Stranger Things. A new picture has been released and the fans of Hellboy are really impressed as Harbour is looking really deadly in this one.

The movie Hellboy is going to be a reboot of the films we have seen under the franchise of Hellboy over the years and we have to say that getting this superhero back on the big screen is going to be a really fascinating thing as we all know that the world of Hellboy is completely different and a lot of weird and amazing creatures have been a part of these movies.

This movie is going to be the sequel of ‘Hellboy II: The Golden Army’, and it is Mignola and Cosby writing the script of this movie and despite getting a ‘No’ from Guillermo del Toro for directing the movie, the makers of the movie went to Neil Marshall who seems to be a very good option as he is making this one an R-rated movie and with this thing in mind, we will surely see the real boy of hell in this movie.

Also, the choice of having David Harbour in the role of Hellboy seems to be a decision which is going to be a really successful one as we all know that he can bring the best out of characters like this but the main thing of this character as we all know is the appearance and the makeup. So, seeing the look of Harbour as Hellboy, the fans are really happy, satisfied, and excited to see him in the role of Hellboy.

Empire Magazine is the one who has shared the exclusive picture of Harbour in the skin of Hellboy and we have to say that he is looking really evil, badass, and muscular in this one. It seems like the makers of the movie are going to flow a lot of blood on the big screen as his look is really scary. Also, it has been declared openly by Neil Marshall during a conversation with Empire, as he stated,

“It was always a case of, ‘When in doubt, go back to the source material.’ Some of the stuff is pretty sick.”

Marshall explained to Empire in the January 2019 Issue.

“More violent and more bloody. We weren’t making it with handcuffs on.” 

So, we can clearly see that the movie is going to be R-rated for a reason and is going to follow a lot of blood and deaths in the movie.

Since, the success of Deadpool there are a lot of makers who are thinking that bringing an R-rated movie is a successful idea but without having a good story this move is going to bounce back on the makers of that film as audience doesn’t want to see heads cut off and blood splashing here and there as what they want is a real story and also with a character like Hellboy which is really popular there are a lot of expectations and demands from the side of the fans.

The upcoming movie is going to based upon the stories we have in the comics and also we are going to see B.P.R.D. but it has been said that the prime focus is going to be on the personal side of Hellboy which is going to show the relationship he has with his father, who is an adoptive one. But, for now, nothing much has been revealed yet about the movie and we all can simply guess the things as nothing much has been revealed yet.
