Avengers 5 Should Have Kang Kill These 2 Huge Marvel Heroes

Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are wondering about the next big crossover project in the franchise. There has been no clear indication of when we will be getting an Avengers-like project but it is quite clearly set to happen. One of the biggest conditions for such a project is the requirement of a villain and it is quite clear that we are going to get that with Kang the Conqueror. The way this villain will be explored in the upcoming projects of the franchise we might be getting to see him as an enemy equivalent to Thanos for a whole new saga. Kang the Conqueror might have to kill huge marvel heroes to become a major villain for an Avengers 5 project.

Avengers 5

There has always been a hype for crossover events in the MCU in comparison to the solo ventures. Earlier it was assumed that these events only came in the form of projects like the Avengers. But now it seems that solo ventures also end up heavily featuring some of the other MCU characters in major roles. This was seen in the case of Captain America: Civil War, which fans also tend to call an Avengers film. But there has been much confusion regarding the future of the Avengers movies ever since the end of the Infinity Saga. We witnessed some of the greatest moments in the MCU and even the Avengers family had broken down into a few superheroes.

Huge Marvel heroes

When Kevin Feige was asked about the plans for an Avengers project in Phase 4, he stated that it was intentionally avoided. In an interview with IGN, he stated,

We had a movie this year called Avengers: Endgame, and it is very much an ending, as you saw, to so many of those characters. So Phase 4 is about beginnings, and Phase 4 is about learning new things about characters you already think you know like Black Widow, meeting incredible new characters like The Eternals and Shang-Chi, going on new adventures with Doctor Strange and Thor, and these Disney+ shows which I promise will be spectacular and not what anybody’s expecting.

Kang The Conqueror

Thanos has managed to set the bar really high when it comes to villains in the MCU. In comparison to the Mad Titan, every other villain seems to be a joke as the true menacing persona of a Marvel villain has been heightened by this character. Ever since his death, there has been much wonder regarding who is going to be the next big villain in the MCU after the Infinity Saga. With a variety of villains coming from everywhere, there was some wonder regarding where we will get to see the next big baddie. But the Disney+ series might have managed to give us a villain we might haven’t expected.

Loki‘s He Who Remains already managed to have a tone that was enough to make fans wonder what his variants could end up being like. The first hint of his true motives became quite clear with the ending of the series when we saw that Sylvie had killed He Who Remains and Loki appeared in an alternate timeline where Kang had already established himself. Even though Thanos was a CGI character who had a lot more depth than we might have expected, Kang seems to have a more human touch of evil that gives a strong ominous vibe.

Two Characters That Kang Has To Kill

When Thanos arrived around the end of the Infinity Saga, he managed to kill some of the major MCU villains. This was evidence of his ruthlessness and it seems that for Kang to prove his worth he has to do something quite similar. There are two characters that he would be required to kill based on his future appearances in order to prove his worth as a villain. These two are none other than Ant-Man and Loki, considering both of them have projects where this character will be seen in the future of the franchise. Kang is definitely going to appear in the second season of Loki and it might be the ending for the arc of the God of Mischief.

The same can be said in the case of the character of Ant-Man, whose next feature Quantumania will be featuring Kang as the primary antagonist. It won’t be surprising to see Kang appear as the villain in the movie and lead to an arc where Ant-Man is forced to make a major sacrifice. Both Loki and Ant-Man have managed to be rather essential characters in the MCU and their loss would definitely be something that will allow fans to get an idea of him. It would also force the variety of characters to come together in order to defeat this multiversal enemy in Avengers 5.
