First Look at Mysterio From ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ Revealed

The long-awaited first look at Mysterio from Spider-Man: Far From Home is here and we have to say that he is looking quite good in the costume at least, all thanks to Empire Magazine as the look we are seeing in the pages seems to be very classic and original.

Spider-Man: Far From Home Mysterio

We have to say that the hype for the incoming of this supervillain is really huge because we all know that the man has played some really crucial roles in the comics and also having an actor like Jake Gyllenhaal for the character of Mysterio is simply a dream come true for all of us.

Also, Mysterio is one of the most interesting villains in the world of Marvel if we talk about the appearances of villains as we all know that his famous fish-bowl helmet is the thing which makes him extraordinary in appearance but the man also has a lot of magical powers with him as we can see in the picture that he has spells around his hands. Here is the first look at Mysterio:

There is also a lot of hope in the minds of Marvel fans that they’ll be able to see Mysterio in the MCU but there’s nothing we can expect from the side of Marvel Studios because we all know that they haven’t revealed a lot of things as to who is going to play the character of Mysterio. Earlier, Kevin Feige had stated,

Spider-Man: Far From Home Mysterio

“Well, I mean, sure, let the speculation begin. That’s always fun,” Feige added. “We like [the title] of course because it ties into Homecoming, not just keeping that word going, which we like and we liked it more than Homecoming 2, but that notion of ‘home’ is a word that has dual meanings we’d like to continue with this [Marvel Cinematic Universe] version of Spider-Man. So, Far From Home has multiple meanings.

So, this is the reason why we can’t expect a lot of things from the side of Marvel Studios regarding the future of Mysterio in the MCU but what we know for now is that the movie Spider-Man: Far From Home is going to be the first movie of Phase 4 and also the movie is going to have Nick Fury and Maria Hill.

There were a lot of questions from the side of the fans and critics whether Gyllenhaal is going to have that fishbowl in the movie as in some of the photos which made their way out in the public saw that the stunt double of Gyllenhaal isn’t wearing any kind of fishbowl helmet while shooting and also the work on his beard has been quite good which signals that we are going to have Gyllenhaal without helmet in the movie.

But, there are reports on the internet that the movie is going to open with Gyllenhaal not having a helmet and in the whole movie we are going to have Mysterio without that fish-bowl helmet but as we all know that this villain is going to be more than a one-movie villain. So, maybe in the post-credits scene of the movie, we will see him in Helmet for the next movie.

A lot of this depends on the director of the movie Jon Watts and the head of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige is very much relaxed and happy with the direction of Jon Watts and has also suggested that he believes in the decisions Watts will take in this movie as he stated in an interview,

Spider-Man: Far From Home Mysterio

“Much like Ant-Man, there are things that people know about that movie, which is a great deal of the movies: the villain of the movie, the storyline of the film, that we’re shooting in Europe and that Peter Parker goes on continuing that [Captain America: Civil War] was a big giant superhero class movie.” Kevin Feige also reflected on the thoughts of the story of the movie as he stated that, “The fall out of that in Homecoming was John Hughes and him going to his high school. So that’s what’s fun to us about the Spider-Man movies. And again going from Infinity War to Ant-Man and the Wasp, the tonal shift. So, there’s a lot of fun stuff. How it connects, where it connects, when it takes place, very similar to Ant-Man and the Wasp in that we’re not gonna say right now.”
