Multiverse of Madness Villain Twist – Doctor Strange Himself is the Bad Guy

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been growing at a stupendous pace. Part of the reason for this is the advent of the multiverse. As the characters have multiplied in the franchise so have its horizons. The movies have also caught pace in recent years. Particularly when the Doctor Strange sub-franchise has been doing so well. The new Multiverse of Madness footage shows Strange taking drastic steps to maintain the sanctity of the MCU. Makes us think that the Multiverse Of Madness villain is Strange himself.

Whatever the case may be, the fact remains that Strange has been set up as the next leading man for the MCU. The reason for his success is the death of Iron Man and the opening up of the Multiverse, for which, Strange is himself responsible. The Illuminati’s presence in Multiverse of Madness is no coincidence. Professor X and Strange have something brewing. Whatever it is, it is destined to upset the ordained truth of the MCU. Let us break the events leading to Strange becoming a villain one by one.

The multiverse of Madness Villain

Several matters at play suggest that Strange will be the final villain of the new movie. Starting from the fact that he is a cocky fellow, there is also the involvement of other entities. Particularly there are three parties at play, The Illuminati, Strange allies and Wanda. No one knows what exactly she wants. The Scarlet Witch was last seen in Wandavision as she embraced the Darkhold in a cabin on the mountain. She seems to be heading on a path that will ensure that she fights everyone.

Wanda has no reason to save the universe, she only wants what she wants, and that is her children. The Scarlet Witch is looking for them and she will stop at nothing. Not even stopping at converting Strange into her pawn. How will she do it? Through the Darkhold of course. Chaos Magic is a powerful tool that cannot be stopped by any person and Wanda uses it with exceptional proficiency. Now let’s talk about Professor X. Everyone thinks that he is referencing the evil variant of Strange. However, we believe that is not the case. We believe that Patrick Stewart’s Professor X is well aware that MCU Strange is one of the most dangerous people in the multiverse.

He is expressing his true opinion in the trailer and there is no subterfuge involved. We say this so confidently because Patrick Stewart let this slip in an interview, ” Professor X would be extraordinarily cautious, and watchful, and perhaps feel a little insecure,” Stewart observed, “because there is something that is… potentially dangerous about this man, and I think that would put Professor Xavier on guard.” This means that Professor X is well aware of the problems that MCU Strange can cause and whatever he does is action after the fact. However strange that action is, it is still within the rules of the universe.

The Future

Wanda’s involvement in the grand scheme of things and the exceedingly complex plots are evidence of something sinister below the covers. It is likely that Strange will turn a corner in the Multiverse of Madness and turn into the meanest fellow you’ve ever met. If that is the case then Raimi’s comment about Multiverse Of Madness being a horror movie might come true. It all starts with a story that will shake us to our core. Much like the Strange Supreme’s episode in What If…?, we won’t know anything is wrong until it is too late.

This is our theory with regards to the Multiverse of Madness Villain. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released worldwide on the 6th of May 2022.
