The Harry Potter wizarding world will continue with another addition to the Fantastic Beasts franchise. This time around things are going to get a lot more exciting with quite massive events set to unfold in the world. Most of the cast will be returning for the sequel along with certain new additions to the cast of the franchise. There was much talk about the movie last year when Johnny Depp was replaced with Madds Mikkelsen in the movie for the role of Grindlewald. We did get a teaser of him in the role around the end of last year along with a hint of what we might get to see in the movie. Warner Bros. has just unveiled characters posters of Fantastic Beasts 3 featuring the new and returning cast for the movie.
Secrets of Dumbledore
This time around we will get to see a lot more of Jude Law’s Dumbledore, with the narrative continuing in the 1930s. We will get to witness this prequel explore the events that led to the Wizarding World’s involvement in World War II. Meanwhile, Grindlewald will be getting a significant increase in his powers. But Dumbledore builds a team of trustworthy people led by Newt Scamander himself. This team will prevent Grindlewald from establishing himself properly and at the same time, Dumbledore will have an interesting narrative of his own.

With the trailer for Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Grindlewald set to release this week, the Wizarding World Twitter handle released the character posters for the movie. This included all the new members and the past actors who will be returning for the third addition in the prequel franchise. It also featured some of the fantastic beasts from the previous entries who will be seen returning for the movie. Let’s check out the posters for the individual characters set to appear in the movie.
Eddie Redmayne will be returning with his role as the protagonist Newt Scamander with some new tasks set by Dumbledore.
Jude Law will reprise his role as the beloved professor Albus Dumbledore after making his debut as the character in Crimes of Grindlewald. Considering this time around we will get to see a lot more of him, we will also get a chance to see a lot more of the Wizarding School, Hogwarts too.
Mads Mikkelsen will take on the role of Grindlewald after Johnny Depp was replaced. It would be interesting to see what Mikkelsen brings to the role and to the wizarding world itself.
Alison Sudol will return in the role of Queenie Goldstein for the third entry.
Callum Turner will return as Newt’s big brother.
Newt’s Muggle friend Jacob Kowalski played by Dan Fogler will be joining in on the adventure this time around.
British actor and martial artist Dave Wong will be taking on the role of Lio Tao in the movie.
Ezra Miller will be reprising his role as Aurelius Dumbledore/ Credence Barebone and we might get some more insight into his character this time around.
Jessica Williams will be returning in her role as the American witch and professor Eulalie Hicks.
Brazilian actor Maria Fernanda Cândido will make her debut in the Harry Potter universe in the role of Vicência Santos.
Dark actor Oliver Masucci will be making his debut as a member of the International Confederation of Wizards.
Pickett the Bowtruckle will also be seen along with Newt and we can’t wait to see what he has up his sleeves this time.
The fan-favorite Niffler will also be returning and it seems like it will unleash whole new havoc this time around.
Poppy Corby-Tuech will return in the role of Vinda Rosier the witch next to Grindlewald.
Richard Coyle will be appearing as Aberforth Dumbledore and it would be exciting to hear what this character has to say about the adventure this time around.
Victoria Yeates is going to reprise her role as Bunty in the franchise.
William Nadylam will be appearing again after making his debut with Crimes of Grindlewald.
Aleksandr Kuznets will be taking on the role of Helmut, one of the Aurors in the Magical Congres of the United States of America.
It is interesting to see that these posters are missing Katherine Waterston’s character Tina even though the actor is confirmed to appear in the movie. Another interesting detail about these posters is the fact that they appear to be forming the shape of a phoenix. This is a reference to the fact that Dumbledore’s Patronus was that of a phoenix. Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore will be released in theaters worldwide on April 15.
