5 Ways The Mandalorian Season 3 Was Set Up By Mando Appearing In Boba Fett

Fans got to see the Mandalorian make an appearance in the latest episode of The Book of Boba Fett. This was actually teased in an absolutely awesome manner in the previous episode with the theme for The Mandalorian playing right around the end. His appearance in the series actually makes for a full circle because the series is actually a spinoff of The Mandalorian. There were many questions regarding what will happen to the character of Mandalorian following him parting ways with Grogu in Season 2. But we were assured that The Mandalorian will actually be getting Season 3 but there’s no hint of what we might get to see. It seems that Din Djarin’s appearance in The Book of Boba Fett might have actually given hints regarding his future. Let’s look at everything that we might have gotten to find out about The Mandalorian Season 3 from Din Djarin’s appearance in The Book of Boba Fett

The Mandalorian is Still Looking Forward to Meeting Grogu

The last time we saw Grogu, he had left with Luke Skywalker around the end of Season 2. There was some excitement regarding whether this will mark the end of the narrative of the Mandalorian and Grogu. But it was announced that the Mandalorian will return in Season 3 and thus we might get a chance to see Grogu again. The latest episode actually indicated that we will actually get to see Mando reunite with Grogu again. He even lends his Baskar spear to make a present for Grogu. There’s a chance that we will get to see him meet Grogu before he ends up meeting Boba Fett. This would mean that we would get to see him meet with Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker again.

The Mandalorian’s New Spacecraft

Din Djarin lost his beloved Razor Crest when it was destroyed in Season 2 of The Mandalorian. But now we saw him get a whole new starship in the latest episode of The Book of Boba Fett. Peli Motto had a cameo earlier in the series and she returns much properly in the latest episode as Din Djarin goes to meet her. She tells him that she has acquired a customized N-1 Naboo Starfighter. Mando was actually into the deal but upon looking at the state of this ship he looked unimpressed. But by the end, he was won over with the interesting customizations that were made to the ship. The ship is customized to be faster than most of the other similar ships because the astromech was removed. Even though this is far away from Razor Crest we can see him making do with this ship for some of his bounties.

The Mandalorian Required To Gather Expertise On The Darksaber

The Mandalorian Season 3

Din Djarin became the rightful owner of the Darksaber in The Mandalorian Season 2. This sword is actually associated with the history of the Mandalore that requires proper skill to be wielded. Even though it sounds like a cool weapon, Mando hasn’t been able to get skilled to use it yet. We even see him getting injured by the saber itself at the very beginning of the episode. He did get a little bit of training to gain control over it but soon he had to fight for the ownership of the saber with another Mandalorian. If Din Djarin continues to use the weapon for his future bounties and other adventures, he will be required to gather control over the saber.

Din Djarin Will Still Be Involved With Boba Fett & Fennec Shand

The most exciting bit of last year was that we finally got a project revolving around the character of Boba Fett. His narrative actually starts right where we last saw him and this is something that fans have wanted to see for a quite long time now. Based on the ending of the recent episode we can be sure that both Boba and Fennec Shand will have major roles in The Mandalorian Season 3. Since Din Djarin is ready to help Boba Fett for free, we can clearly see this will pay off later when Din Djarin would require allies too. The Mandalorian Season 3 might end up featuring quite an expansive cast based on the fact that he has quite a lot of allies now.

The Mandalorian’s Cult Has Dropped Him

The Mandalorian Season 3

An interesting part of the narrative of the episode was Din Djarin getting a chance to reunite with his cult. This was an essential moment because he was brought up by the Children of the Watch. One of the missions in Season 2 of The Mandalorian saw him removing his helmet for a particular episode and this is something against the customs of the Children of the Watch. Thus, when the group finds out about this he is actually expelled from them. Even though there is a chance that they envy him for owning the Darksaber, he did end up breaking the rule that was followed by his team.
