Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Trailer Reveals Tails and The First Look At Knuckles
At a time when fans were waiting to see a lot of action with movies based on popular games, Sonic the Hedgehog proves the worth of the genre. The movie became quite a success amongst the fans due to a combination of reasons. But this was only the beginning as the success of the movie allowed for a sequel to be announced and work on this began right away. There was a lot of hype about this sequel as things were going to be taken to a whole new level and more of the world of the game was going to be explored. The wait for the Sonic The Hedgehog 2 trailer is finally over as we’ve got it. It reveals the most exciting bits that include everything from Tails to the first look at Knuckles, to the Chaos Emerald.

Who couldn’t remember the first trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog dropping and fans of the game going crazy against the look of the character? Luckily the project was postponed and some major changes were made to it in order to please the fans. Bringing animated characters to the live-action can be a rather difficult task and this was proven by this movie. We finally got to see the movie that dealt with Sonic’s adventures on Earth. He has been able to keep his presence in the world a secret for so long.
The tale takes a massive turn as Sonic has to reveal his true identity to people he liked and this leads to absolute chaos. He comes across Tom who helps him from hiding from Dr. Robotnik who becomes the enemy as the latter realizes Sonic is a source of a great amount of energy. Over the course of the movie Sonic realizes how to grow with humans and become friends with them and at the same time come to terms with his powers. The movie ended with Robotnik being sent to another universe and being stuck there along with the revelation of another character from Sonic’s world.
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Trailer
Paramount Pictures released the first trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and it shows us a lot of interesting details to hype us up regarding the release of the project. The movie will bring the original look of Dr. Robotnik to the scream with the bald head and the thick mustache. This character will return with a lot more knowledge on how to properly fight Sonic and get his powers and this time it is personal.
The trailer shows Sonic working as a vigilante using his powers and helping the world out as Tom lets him know that he has to realize he is just a kid. This leads to a hilarious interaction between the two until we see a proper entry from Tails. Tails could be seen using the iconic Tornado biplane from the games and Sonic is seen standing on its wing. Sonic is also seen eating a chili dog which was a part of Sonic’s died in the games.
But things take a rather ominous turn when Robotnik returns and gets back to his assistant Agent Stone. He reveals that he has come across a great source of power and then we are shown the Choas Emerald. Sonic has to save the world and the Chaos Emerald from Dr. Robotnik but the latter has another trick up his sleeves in the form of Knuckles. Knuckles appear to be stronger than Sonic and larger in size. This will be a bigger challenge for Sonic.
The movie will feature the return of James Marsden as Tom, Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic, Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik, Tika Sumpter as Maddie, Adam Pally as Wade, Natasha Rothwell as Rachel, and Lee Majdoub as Agent Stone. New additions will see Idris Elba voicing the character of Knuckles and Shemar Moore in a presently undisclosed role. Fans of the franchise will see that the character of Tails is voiced by Colleen Villard who has done the same since Sonic Boom. Sonic the Hedgehog is going to release in theaters worldwide on April 8, 2022.
