Marvel May Have Spoiled The Ending of No Way Home Already

The hype surrounding the final addition to the Homecoming trilogy, Spider-Man: No Way Home is at its peak. There are only a few days more than a week left for the movie to hit the theatres and fans cannot wait anymore. Over this period before the release of the movie, there have been a lot of TV spots that have given us hints surrounding the movie. The recent trailers indicated the first time that we got to see the main three villains properly. But there is a fear that these clips might be slowly revealing more about the movie than we would want to know without watching it. In fact, a recent TV spot might have actually spoiled the ending of No Way Home for us due to some key scenes being present in it.

Spider-Man: No Way Home

Over the past few weeks, we have gotten a lot of detail about the Spider-Man movie and it is hardly believable that the movie got a very late trailer. There is a lot of excitement for the movie and every single TV spot has been giving us hints at the narrative of the movie. It is only recently that some of the most important theories surrounding the movie have come true based on the trailers. This includes the villains who were rumored to appear and included Lizard, Doctor Octopus, Electro, Green Goblin, and Sandman.

Another interesting detail about the movie that is yet to be confirmed has to be the presence of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man. We are very well aware that the movie was going to be picked up right from the cliffhanger ending of Spider-Man: Far From Home. Fans have been piecing together scenes based on whatever details they have come across over the weeks. This includes the highway battle scene between Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus. But it seems that a recent TV spot might have actually spoiled the ending of No Way Home.

New TV Spot

A new TV Spot was released for Spider-Man: No Way Home titled End that is about 15 seconds long. But the particularly essential thing about this TV spot is the fact that it has some of the most essential details that could actually be taking place around the end of the movie. Some of the scenes that are glanced over in this scene actually take place during the battle at the end. These shots might have spoiled the movie even though Marvel Studios and Sony have run quite a measured marketing campaign for the film.

Ending of No Way Home

The scenes indicate that the entire moment around the end of the clip takes place right at the Statue of Liberty with Peter already showing bruises. This means that the hero has actually been through a battle that might be the one where the three villains Sandman, Electro, and Lizard attack. Peter could be seen talking to Strange and he says, “Do it.”, to which Strange nods.

Another important thing worth noticing is the fact that we can see daylight around Strange in this scene even though the second trailer showed us that when Strange was at the top of the Statue it was nighttime. Strange probably opens the multiverse or shuts it down or probably something that might have put an end to the battle. Or this could be the scene where the duo decides to bring in some other heroes into the battle so that they could get a hand in fighting the enemies.

We are left pondering what Peter might have asked Strange to do considering this will probably be a very consequential moment in the movie. Maybe Strange actually redid the botched spell in order to make sure everyone forgets about his identity and at the same time forget about everything about the multiversal chaos that unfolded there. Or, Peter could have given in to Strange’s plan of sending back the villains upon discovering that there’s no way he could resolve the issue with the villains. We will only be able to find out when Spider-Man: No Way Home comes out in theatres worldwide on December 17.

It stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, J.B. Smoove, Marisa Tomei, J.K. Simmons, Jon Favreau, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, Rhys Ifans, Thomas Haden Church and possibly, the previous two Spider-Men.
