MCU is continuing to expand and nothing can stop it. Phase 4 started with Disney+’s WandaVision and the latest entry was Eternals. With 8 movies and 4 more miniseries yet to come out, MCU is on a full-on blast right now. As of now, most of the movies are in post-production phases and about 3 movies are in their production phase but no updates have been released, thanks to the NDAs that every crew member has to sign. But who can stop the leaks? The latest is The Marvels leaked set photo, which actually reveals the second superhero suit that Kamala Khan will wear in the MCU. So, read on to check out the new suit of Ms Marvel.
Brie Larson will be returning in her iconic role of Captain Marvel in The Marvels. The movie is rumored to be a team-up of some of the strongest women in the galaxy, featuring Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, and Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel. Iman Vellani, a Canadian actress with roots in Pakistan, will be making her debut in the MCU as Kamala Khan in Ms. Marvel first. Then she will go on to reprise this role in The Marvels, with WandaVision’s Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau.
Ms Marvel was to premiere in late 2021, but due to delays, the first episode will be out in the summer of 2022. The Marvels, on the other hand, will release on February 17, 2023. Due to Kamala Khan’s importance in the Marvel comics, her character has been kept a mystery for a long time. But the latest sneak-peak gave us the first look at her suit.
New Suit of Ms Marvel And More…
About a week ago, a Twitter user, @Andrewsvisual, shared five bts photos from the sets of The Marvels, featuring the set and the fabulous Ms Marvel. Check out the full tweet.

The pictures feature Iman Vellani having a little touch-up in the middle of shoots. Some eagle-eyed fans have pointed out that this suit is a little different from her Ms. Marvel suit. For instance, this suit has a much darker red than the one in Ms. Marvel. Also, the shoes are now golden and red, unlike the previous suit.
If you check out the magnified photo above, there is a man with a blue face. This might imply that the scene is a shot from space and the man’s face will be CGI-ed into an alien later. This is further confirmed by the set photos. The structure’s architecture doesn’t look much Earth-ly. Also, in the third photo, we can see a woman in a kind-of armor of silver with some maroon fabric on her arms. This could either be the supposed villain or just the body double of the actress.
The scene looks more like an action scene with cables and stuntman-looking crew members. So, it could very well be a body double.
The suit looks, more or less, inspired by Captain Marvel’s. And as compared to the previous one, this one seems professionally made. So, this could lead to a subplot where she improves her suit with somebody’s help. It is too soon to predict anything so we won’t try to spoil anything for you… just yet.
The leaks have confirmed that the movie is currently in its post-production phases. The movie will hit the theatres on February 23, 2023.
