21 Big Upcoming TV Shows Of 2022 We’re Excited To See

2021 will end with a bang as we get to explore a lot of new shows and movies. With most of these projects getting delayed with both production and release it will be a joy to get all these. While some of these shows will be completely original, others will be the return of some of the things that we have waited for quite a long time now. With major studios and franchises going for making shows that are basically spinoffs of their major storylines, it would be no wonder that 2022 will be pretty exciting. With the streaming giants finding a time to establish themselves amongst the audiences during the pandemic period, it’s no wonder they will continue to expand upon this with future projects. Let’s take a look at some of the upcoming TV shows of 2022 that we are really excited to see:

Production for the series took place from January to July of this year. The series will explore the titular character and give us more insight into his character. A proper trailer and further details about the series will be released at the upcoming DC FanDome event.

One of the biggest surprises was the return of Jim Hopper in one of the first teasers we had gotten for the series. He was supposed to be dead at the ending of the previous season but fans had other expectations and it seems that did come true. It would be rather interesting to see how we get to explore this narrative of how this character returns and how the rest of the characters unite with him. We will probably get a chance to see the kids return to go for their adventure on Netflix early next year.

We finally had an extended look at the second season of Star Trek: Picard due to the virtual fan event that celebrated 55 years of the franchise. John de Lancie will return as Q and if sources are to be believed then Whoopi Goldberg might also appear as Guinan. The addition of Annie Wersching as Borg Queen indicates that the crew might face some more Borg troubles. Star Trek: Picard will return on Paramount+ in February next year.
