The Expendables is a franchise of action-adventure films that covers a wide fanbase because of their castings. These movies are the holy grail of action movies because of the cast that is famous for their action scenes. The team of actors in these movies carries so much star power that the movies can survive on hype alone but the best thing about them is that they are made so good that they do not need any hype whatsoever. Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Megan Fox, Andy Garcia and Tony Jaa Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Megan Fox and Tony Jaa. are already confirmed to feature in the Scott Waugh directed film. The rest of the cast is also ever-widening, so here is our list of 10 actors that need to be in Expendables 4:
The Machete
Danny Trejo is one of the most well-known action heroes in the industry. It is because of his coarse voice and his endearing badass accent that the audiences love him. That and his memorable role as The Machete. Every time we see the man onscreen we cannot separate him from the iconic role in the iconic movie. He will be a great addition to the cast of the Expendable since the man is as good with his hands as he is with his lines.
Treasure Hunter
Nicolas Cage is more of a mystery hunter than an action hero but he has given us some of the best performances in these movies. Although he is more Indiana Jones than Rocky Balboa we have come to realize that his action sequences are just as thrilling as the other stars on the list. All in all, we believe that this actor will be a great addition to the roster.
Letty
Michelle Rodriguez is one of the more well-known action actresses in the industry. She has a recurring role in the Fast and The Furious series as Letty and has dominated the screen in the role. She has gone toe to toe with people like Ronda Rousey and we expect her to be added to the cast soon. Considering that Megan Fox is already confirmed to appear in Expendables 4, we would love to see Michelle Rodriguez appear as a part of the cast too.
Football Star
Vinnie Jones is an on-screen tough guy that can bring much-needed diversity to the star-studded cast of The Expendables 4. This guy converted from a career in football to a career in acting and while he may not have a lot of acting prowess he is still an intimidating presence on the silver screen. This makes us think that the actor might be added to the cast in a negative role.
Remember the Titans
Denzel Washington is another person you may not think of when counting action heroes. He is a well-established actor with a whole lot of range but his action ensemble is limited. However, we have witnessed many a time that the actor can pull off some of the most iconic action scenes that writers and directors throw at him. He will certainly be an interesting addition to the cast.
Sarah Connor
If we are looking for a badass action Woman on screen then we need not look further than Linda Hamilton aka The Terminator killer Sarah Connor herself. After all, if the terminator can be a part of the franchise then the Terminator killer cannot stay too far back. Linda Hamilton will be wonderful as a female veteran in the series.
Drax The Destroyer
Dave Bautista is another WWE star that has made the transfer to the silver screen. He is an exceptional actor who has given us some of the best action sequences as Drax The Destroyer. We wonder why this brilliant star has not been included in The Expendables series. We do hope that he is soon added to the cast of The Expendables 4.
The Rock
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one of the most well-known action stars in the industry. It is rather surprising to us that he is not part of the cast already. We hope that the casting directors remedy this soon and add this beautiful action star to the roster of The Expendables 4. He will only make the roster more star-studded than before and give us varied action in the sequel.
Dominic Toretto
Vin Diesel is an icon in his own right. When it comes to The Fast And The Furious franchise he is the most important character of the cast. For a franchise focused on action, it is astounding how the casting directors have ignored to put him in the cast up until now. We do hope that The Expendables 4 features this actor and brings forward his exceptional action skill along with other Titans of the series.
Jackie Chan
This is, perhaps, one of the most peculiar casting decisions to us in recent history. Jackie is famous for his hand-to-hand combat and for doing most of his own stunts. Yet the veteran actor has not made it to the roster of The Expendables. This is gross negligence in our view and needs to be corrected as soon as possible. The kind of flair that Jackie can bring no other Actor is capable of.
