Doctor Strange 2 Will Have a Fight Between Scarlet Witch and X-Men Character?
The trailer for No Way Home just dropped and it has already driven fans crazy with the number of details it has provided us regarding the possibilities in the movie. With the multiverse being teased and a wide variety of characters making a possible return there is high anticipation regarding the series. While there are already a million theories in the making regarding this movie, fans are already wondering how it would shape the next batch of MCU movies. With a lot of other projects planned for the future of MCU people are excited to say how this might give rise to the next saga after the end of the Infinity Saga. There are already theories surrounding the next Doctor Strange movie, Multiverse of Madness. If the reports a correct there is a chance that in this feature, we might get to see a fight between Scarlet Witch and X-Men, or a Fantastic Four member.
Where We Left Wanda
Wanda Maximoff who was last seen on the Disney+ show WandaVision in her true form as Scarlet Witch will next be seen in the Multiverse Of Madness. She was last seen in her superior Sorcerer form in the series as she realizes her full potential. The series was the first Marvel show in connection with the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. While the trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home gave us a glance into what we can expect to be happening in terms of the multiverse in MCU as multiple characters from previous Spider-Man movies might be making a return.
The events get triggered due to an error in the spell by Doctor Strange. There is a possibility that the Doctor Strange sequel might actually be about Strange trying to manage the chaos that ensues. While not much is known about this movie we can clearly guess that he is gonna need some help from the Scarlet Witch herself due to which she is supposed to appear in the movie.
The Rumour
According to Daniel Richtman, a person known for his insider information regarding all things MCU, there is going to be some crazy events upcoming in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. As a reply to a Twitter user regarding the Doctor Strange vs. Thanos fight scene in Avengers: Infinity War, Richtman said,
In Doctor Strange 2 Wanda will fight someone from the Fox-verse (I am not allowed to reveal who it sis)but could top this fight.
Possible Theories
The question that this leaves us with is who could it be. It is a very enticing tease considering the number of characters in the Fox-verse is massive. The first person that appears in our minds is of course Magneto considering the father-daughter relationship the two characters share. That would indeed make an interesting scene for the movie.
Not much can be said regarding the Fantastic Four character either considering the possibility of this leading to Marvel’s upcoming Fantastic Four project based in the MCU. Just knowing that there is a possibility of such an event keeps us excited in our seats regarding the movie. At the same time, this could just be another one of hoaxes similar to the multiple ones that made rounds during WandaVision.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will release on March 22, 2022.
