Will We See Paul Walker in Fast & Furious 10 and 11?

Fast & Furious is a franchise that keeps getting stronger with every installment. Well, this claim is proved by the very fact that F9 dominated the Chinese box office with a record-breaking opening. And now it has also brought in the big bucks at the domestic Box Office. But where does the franchise go from here? There is no doubt that the franchise is now stronger than ever. Yes, with all the success it has seen shortcomings as well. But has not hindered it from progressing. One of the most crucial moments in the franchise was Paul Walker’s sad demise. But it looks like Justin Lin, the director, may bring back Paul Walker in Fast & Furious 10 or 11!

We Might See Paul Walker in Fast & Furious 10

Fans from all over the world were in shock after knowing that Paul Walker lost his life in a tragic accident. And since then, the franchise gave a rather heartwarming farewell to the legend. F9 also gave him an amazing tribute. But, would we ever see him again now that the franchise is nearing its end? Well, director Justin Lin has said that bringing back Walker’s character is a very real possibility for Fast & Furious 10 and 11.

During his interview with CinePOP, he said:

“Obviously, Paul and his character Brian are the soul and heart of how we’ve moved forward. Bringing him back is something I think about every day. As we near the end of the franchise, it’s a conversation I’m having. I think about this possibility every day.”

It would be amazing if Brian returns to a dire situation and saves the day. He was one of the franchise leaders, and if he is returning, then we’d like something more than a mere cameo.

To bring him back to life, Lin would have to use CGI. But this wouldn’t be the first time that he would pull of something like this. Furious 7 was rewritten after Walker’s death in order to give him a proper sendoff. For this, Walker’s brothers – Cody and Caleb were used to recreate his likeness and appearance on the screen. It was truly wonderful to see.

Needless to say, this scene set deep within the heart of the viewers as Walker drove his car on a different road than Dom’s, saying that they will see each other again. So, as the franchise is ending in the next two movies, recreating Walker on the screen would seem fit. Vin Diesel, on the other hand, has talked about the possibility of bringing Walker’s daughter Meadow in future movies. So, let’s see where we go from here.
