10 Marvel TV Characters That Would Fit Perfectly In Upcoming MCU Projects

The Marvel and Disney merger goes back to the winter of 2009. Disney in the fall of 2019 launched its very own subscription-based on-demand over-the-top streaming service which was owned and operated by the Media and Entertainment Distribution division on the Walt Disney franchise called Disney+. Post pandemic at the beginning of the year 2021, Disney+ announced the release of the WandaVision story arc. This move was highly appreciated by the Marvel fans across the globe and got Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe story started. The WandaVision arc proved to be a huge success and with the recent announcement of the Falcon & The Winter Soldier more solid narrative, we can’t stop but think about the number of possibilities that this strategy could have if it were to include the Marvel TV characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe storyline. So here is a list of a few of the many characters that might make the perfect fit for the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s plans.

Daredevil

Mathew Murdock also knows as Daredevil is the oldest crimefighting vigilante in the Marvel comics. In the day he fights against crime in the courtroom and by night is fighting crime using his radar capable vision and martial arts. The character can be bought in from the TV series ‘Daredevil’ (2015-2018) and ‘The Defenders’ (2017).

He seems to be a perfect fit for the Spider-Man sequel because as far as our memory best serves us In Far from Home Peter was revealed to the whole world as Spider-Man by Mysterio. Leading us to believe that in the next sequel Peter might get subpoenaed by the court for damages done and whom better to represent Peter than the devil himself. (We meant Daredevil).

Ghost Rider

Another influential character in the Marvel universe is the lone rider called the ‘Ghost Rider’. Adventure sports stuntman in the morning and a soul hunter by night, Ghost Rider goes around the city looking to punish people with corrupted souls. Robin Reyes from the TV series ‘Agents of Shield’ (2013-present) in the last series was know to be stuck in an alternate dimension in a place conveniently called ‘Hell’.

The alternate dimension is a forte for the Master of the Mystic Arts also known as Doctor Strange. The upcoming title for the strange franchise ‘Multiverse of Madness’ may see Doctor’s need for an accomplice and land him in hell to rescue Ghost Rider to assist him on his escapades.

The Punisher

Frank Castle may not be a superhero with powers but his firepower and the urge to bring criminals to justice is a will stronger than the most powerful characters of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. His last appearance in ‘Daredevil’ (2015-2018) & ‘The Punisher’ (2017-2019) seems to have left the vigilante with an improper impasse.

With the release date for the Falcon & the Winter Solider set to March of 2021, we are hoping to see a lot of Marvel Cinematic Universe action amongst some popular Marvel Cinematic Universe characters. Now someone from the Marvel Cinematic Universe who has the same narrative of exacting revenge from the bad guys is The Winter Soldier aka Bucky Barnes and in the new series, it would be really interesting to see The Punisher and The Winter Solider face off in a fierce battle of firepower and fighting wits.

Luke Cage

Harlem’s bulletproof hero is a man of rules and compassion sticking to protect his neighborhood in a constant attempt to make it a safe place for all. On this endeavor was led to take down the local criminal organization in the spectacular way possible, starring in the series like ‘Jessica Jones’ (2015-2019), ‘Luke Cage’ (2016-2018), ‘The Defenders’ (2017) & ‘Iron Fist’ (2017-2018).

A team-up of the vigilante named Moonlight and Luke Cage seems something which can unravel a new arc of crime-fighting vigilantes.

Iron Fist

Danny Rand plays the Immortal Iron Fist, the sworn enemy of the organization called the Hand and the Protector of K’un-Lun. Though his title in the world of martial artists in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is still debatable, he sure as hell packs a good powerful punch as the least popular defender of the earth.

In terms of combat experience, Iron Fist might still need to accumulate a lot of experience to surpass or even thrive as a notable character. Thus, an entry in the famous martial tournament that happens in the chapter of ‘Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings’ may witness Iron Fist face-off Shang-Chi and many other famous martial artists from across the globe to make his mark in the martial arts world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Jessica Jones

Jessica Jones spends time as a private investigator while trying to figure out the lives of people who try to ruin her clients. Jessica however is a mess of her own and with newfound powers of superhuman strength and flight may just have messed up the little bit of system that she may have been left within her life.

After the events of Captain Marvel and the Endgame Carol Denver’s may just be running out of people on earth who she may be able to call her friends, especially with her flight partner Maria Rambeau coming of age and she practically not looking a day older than the day of the event which gave her powers. Carol Denver might just need a new friend and her new friend can be Jessica Jones, especially with their close friendship already talked about by every Marvel comic fan.

Quake

Hired by Phil Coulson, Daisy Johnson started as an amateur hacker for S.H.I.E.L.D. Eventually, during the story, she discovers that she is the daughter of a supervillain blessed with immortality and probably one of the strongest superhumans on planet earth. Quake’s vibrational abilities are strong enough to destroy the whole planet.

Shang-Chi Kung Fu Legend

Just like Shang-Chi, Quake seems to have put her powers to the right use and turned over as an undercover crime-fighting martial artist. It would be interesting to watch Quake and Shang-Chi join hands and take over the criminal organizations and crush them together.

Dottie Underwood

The original character to don the title of the ‘Black Widow’, Dottie Underwood is one of the first recruits of the Red room academy way before Natasha Romanoff even came into the picture. Underwood shadowed Peggy Carter in the 50s when S.H.I.E.L.D was still known as SSR and proved to be an exceptionally crafty foe and as the fans remember was still never caught. From the series ‘Agent Carter’ (2015-2016).

The new Black Widow movie deals with the origins of Natasha Romanoff and the infamous Red room academy, whose first graduate was Dottie Underwood. The movie is based on a time where Natasha was still young and we might see Dottie Underwood appearing on the silver screen.

Bullseye

Marvel Villains

The infamous villain from the Daredevil series might be brought in for a one on one with Hawkeye. Both the characters are known for their uncanny marksmanship.

It would be a pity if we are not able to see both of them dish out at each other in the new series on Disney+ called ‘Hawkeye’.

Kingpin

The infamous crime boss from New York should also take on Spider-Man in the next upcoming Spider-Man Sequel.
